...and this is why, dear CA, you should give us Dark Elf Reavers. Unlike all other unit champions you've already elevated to a full unit (marauder champions, chameleon stalkers, exalted daemonettes) this one has a speciality: in the 7th edition army book he could wield dual crossbows.
This unique combination of weapons is previously unseen in Total War: Warhammer and it would make for an interesting short-range rapid-fire unit who can fire at 360°

I'm getting real anxious about my gf playing TW:WH3.

>Play TW:WH3 a lot
>Spend many nights per week playing Multipayer battles with guys from Turin and Heir's 'cord.
>Gf brings this up during one of our biweekly relationship checkin meetings and dates
>Brainstorm a couple of ideas for more quality time
>One of my ideas is that she tries WH3 and if she likes it we can play together
>Use steam family share
>She plays campaign solo and and tries some MP
>Really likes it, gets the game and some DLC for factions she likes and we play coop campaigns and MP together
>Gets more into MP as time goes
>Now she is also in the discords playing organized matches and some amateur tournaments
>The idea of her sitting in Discord with other men makes me feel really uncomfortable

I know I did this to myself but how do I cope with this feel

What do you think are best warband untis for Tamurkhan and the boys?
Im currently running the rot knights 3x, toad dragons 2x and debating swapping some plague ogres for skin wolves since they get plenty of bonuses and horrible regen.
Maybe swap wolves for 2 dreadquakes when I can and just get ogres for frontline.

I really hope they do faction realignments in a future patch.

Slaanesh has Tigermen called Rakshasa Tigermen so I would not be shocked if there are one of the 5 units for Slaanesh. Especially since they picked Dechala who is in Ind in the End Times it is the perfect time to introduce them. Works even better since Tigermen are exclusively Chaos aligned.

I was going back to watch an interview with Louen Leoncoeur,'s voice actor where he mentioned he was brought back to record new lines to deal with custom responses to new LLs and he specifically mentioned Red Duke as part of the new lines.

thats a great way to get another norsca patch disaster when CA only has 2 interns and 1 programmer from their Sophia branch working on WH3 and that programmer is reverse engineering wh2 code to add stuff - when those originally working on WH3 were either all fired for incompetency or moved to Hyenas only to be fired later

its just not happening, Slaanesh DLC is the last DLC and then they will abandon WH3, not because they couldn't make more money, but because they fired all the people that knows the old Total War engine that WH1-3 is made on, its a technical blockade, not a financial one

Correct. He did mention in that video. Here is a summary of that stream. CA also mentioned Crom as a possible FLC LL for Warriors of Chaos and Abhorash as a possible legendary hero for Bretonnia/Vampire Counts. The video was mostly CA talking about stuff and answering questions but for some reason they had some Warhammer 1 voice actors talk for a little bit.

How do you stand using chosen with tamurkhan? They are so slow the enemy army is dead by the time they reach them.
I usually get them at start and then replace them all with Rotknights/toad dragons and warband units or ogres.

You can get ogres from as early as t3 I think and Kayzk is easy to max giving you total of 5 Rot Knights and 2 Toads.

Both books says Dark Elves basically have full control of the west coast of Ind and colonies there. Malekith even has an emissary he personally sent to be stationed there. This is also why there are no humans from Ind in the west because they won't let Ind have a navy. The eastern side is mostly tigermen while the humans live in the west.

They are demanding Norsca CoC style for two reasons. One is Styrkaar is not the FLC LL for Slaanesh then why want him as the Slaanesh LL for a 4 way-DLC.

Two is they don't want Norsca in the Slaanesh dlc because they are pushing dark elves and cathay or dark elves and high elves vs slaanesh very hard and are scared norsca is going to be in it. They all know and agree that norsca has to release before dogs of war though.

Basically the only way to effectively kill their plan is to add Norsca to Slaanesh dlc. It will shatter their dreams.

They want Vampire Counts CoC to give each bloodline a LL.

You really want to beat him down before he can recruit anythign meaningful and is still low level. Teclis sucks ass when he is low level but becomes a huge problem once he has his spells and a gigantic threat once he has his mount.
Abuse the fuck out of that ambush teleport.

Because it would be moronic as Hell for him to be in a different race then Archaon when he is literally the second most important leader in Storms of Chaos and End Times. In both timeline Archaon gives him half the chaos army when they split up and attack different areas.

To be honest it is stupid as fuck that he wasn't part of Warhammer 1 as one of the original 3 lords for warriors of chaos. We are still suffering the repercussions of CA's LL choices in Warhammer 1. He should have been in instead of Sigvald. Then in Champions of Chaos DLC they should have added Sigvald and kept Azazel for the Slaanesh DLC.

Its probably still true. They haven't had a Vampire Counts DLC since. They were the race they said next after Norsca in the Omens of Destruction cideo. Then you got Andy Hall on record saying that Neferata was suppose to be the final DLC for Warhammer 2 but got pulled at the last second for Lizards instead.

I ran to Teclis as fast as I could after beating the Nurgle faction and he still has 20 + 10 + 2 units in thee armies. It's turn 7 and he is level 8 with three unique items already equipped.

At start you want to really spam those spreading cult buildings so youll have a massive grimoire engine going and then you can think about those reduction buildings when you want to start stealing settlements and breaking alliances. I still don't understand when enemies get wiped out or not

Autoresolve seems to wipe them out most of the time, but sometimes they still run away.
I thought ambush wipes them out but apparently not - a hero survived, turned into a hero on the campaign map and embedded into a nearby army.
Fighting them twice in the same turn wipes them out, except when it doesn't because it's a special army like the Lahmian spawn.

Basically, pick someone you want to attack and get some money out of that you border. Recruit a general in some cities that you don't care about getting damaged, but want to keep (that border them)
Sell the cities to the suckers
Then, now b3vause they transfered hands, they have zero garrison, and just selling a city doesn't generate a NAP, the generals can just take the city if you declare war
You can now instantly attack and take the cities again, to end up with your identical borders as before, richer, and at war with someone you were gonna attack anyway

Why would it need to be updated? The only flaw it has is it blobbing up for lone heroes/lords who can subsequently nuke them with spells. Its cavalry control is literally perfect, it can find you if you're hiding, and it uses ranged and melee units to counter other units. What's the problem?

It's gotten better. But it still struggles with any concept of formations, in particular the idea of keeping formations. Once it commits it just dogpiles units. The worst bit is that it's micro is much much better, which ends up making battles more annoying than fun.

What? Blue skills are great. Lower upkeep, recruiting at higher vet levels, lightning strike. I prioritize the ones that give lower upkeep so I can field more armies sooner. When it's maxed out you get an 18% reduction in army upkeep. Maybe I play the game wrong, but it works for me.

I haven't played Belegar since TWW1 myself so no real advice. Garagim might be a good idea to gun for early because he'll provide you replenishment which you want. Also >>521027681 is right, especially for belegar. More replenishment, lightning strike, better campaign movement are all pretty useful since you're basically gonna be threadbare till k8p is yours.

As the other anon said, Welves are the easiest. Probably Durthu or Orion (even though his bonus works against it). One army to guard the tree, one to travel the world and fix other trees. Will be painfully slow though. If you want to do it as the Twins, make sure to make friends with Malekith and Mommy otherwise you're going to have issues.

Am I making a big mistake in empire campaigns by aggressively expanding and confederating when possible?
It feels like your resources get spread too thin, you're forced to use crapstacks with no real firepower because you can't afford to upgrade buildings, and then Gorbad, Skrag, or one of the chaos shits just roll up with several armies to flatten you.

Asking because I feel like my SFO Elspeth campaign has stalled a bit and my borders are pretty ugly, and enemies are everywhere with big 20/40 stacks

Also VC should not even have basic undead in the army. All basic undead should be raised for each fight in a pre battle screen. This would be a cannibalization of the slaanesh seduction mechanics. You buy your basic undead units with dark power. After the battle is over any undead grunts remaining return to the dark power pool.
Each undead lord has a max dark power purchasing capacity. It can be increased with heros, effects, skills, ect.
VC have gold and dark power now as two resources. This way you can have VC heros and important units (like blood knights/Vargheists) in the army but still have your undead horde.
I think this is a better system but plz tell me if I am retarded.

Confederating quickly as empire is a bad move, yeah, especially since you're going to get spaghetti borders that are hard to defend and attack out from. It's one of the factions that 100% needs the garrison built in every settlement because of your movement disadvantage as well, which amplifies the stringy border problem with the expense it takes unless you're willing to take a hit and sell the settlements off for a bit to secure your core provinces

For example the grail reliquae, bretonnia's niche being something like that where different buff units keep their awful infantry together while their knights do the work is a fun style to double down on.

Since they are likely going to change N'Kari to boost monster units that means Dechala will boost infantry. Why would they add Nastasya because she can't boost anything of note. Especially since the sorcrer lords will be dlc units which blocks flc characters from boosting with faction effects. Masque has nothing to boost because Dechala already fulfills that role. The FLC has to be someone else.

Here is Richard Alrdidge based on the criteria of how they select legendary heroes and legendary lords. While Nastasya would fit the role a FLC LL. Unique because she would be the only spellcaster lord and she would be able to boost their other spellcasters. The main issue is that sorcerer lords are locked into the DLC which blocks her from being the option. Dechala and Masque are basically the same exact thing so obviously they aren't going to do identical clones that add nothing different from each other as the legendary lords.

I really have no idea who they are going to do as legendary lord but like rich said they need to boost something unique and be different so that rules out Masque by default who is a Dechala clone.(It does leave her as the possibility of the legendary hero though.)

AI is giving literally hundreds of attack orders per second against your archers so shit with mass ignores your front line or spreads out like cancer to be in melee with both the frontline and backline.
It's what also causes the fire at will issue. Not enough space for your units to act without a direct order from you.

It means that those factions in particular have had their potential(decision making) improved. They'll recruit more units, better units, more frequently and will be more aggressive on the campaign side, which is nice because as the Empire you literally never see Archaon and AI Ghorst has been a complete pushover since Chorfs.

Faction potential is part of their weighing for aggression right? So a higher faction potenial means the ai is going to consider those factions more dangerous and be more aggressive towards them.

In case you people were wondering, in the history of Warhammer Sigvald was one of the four Champions of Chaos, essentially in place of Azazel.

Azazel was the biggest baddest demon to ever exist, he was a couple with Amon'Chakai (one is the fighter demon, the other the caster demon).
This was when demons were meant to be one big block while Chaos had its own four Champions (Dechala, Valnir, Arbaal and Egrimm). These four were abandoned because Egrimm was bigger and stronger than Archaon and Arbaal was as big. So they reinvented Archaon's champions later as four foot sloggers meant to be beneath him and his horse.

Not him but it isn't that it isn't canonical, it's that dark fortresses are your entire campaign goals. You HAVE to keep taking them to build up your army to move south, meaning you're fighting chaos more than you're fighting order, which is dumb. They should scrap the current dark fortress mechanic and turn it into herdstone lite: WoC factions can raze any province capital and pay a shit ton of favor (scaling upwards with each one) to occupy it as a dark fortress instead, enabling a FOB in any theater. Maybe unique or landmark locations for these can still exist in the wastes to remain an incentive for fighting chaos if it tickles your fancy.

Kislev is still close enough to make it not that big of a deal. The issue is how much of a chore it becomes once you start moving further south away from your fortresses and shitty vassals. More settlements you own, more neighbours you get. And all those neighbors + people who declared war on you, added to the groodge meter.

So if you want less points, just raze everything. Build deeps in your core settlements, sign NAPs with your order allies and let them border your enemies.

Also you should be finishing 1 or 2 legendary groodges in the 3rd age of reckoning.

Why don't people understand that the cancer ruining sieges is the towers?
They get 200 undocumented kills every time, literally the strongest unit in a garrison and it can be built for free and it looks like SHIT and it twists the entire siege around itself

Literally no reason to do that if there aren't going to be a bunch of playable bloodlines. If Vampires were in this DLC it would end with only two playable bloodlines. Lahmia and Von Carsteins which would make updating that completely pointless.

For Norsca a combination of the release Q&A of CoC of them saying future paid content for Norsca, teasing Crom for years like this guy's image from a blog, >>520941571 and the patch notes saying they are updating Kurgans a minor faction to be more aggressive when they only do stuff like that for major factions. That combined with every single Creative Assembly partner on Youtube been saying for months the DLC is Slaanesh/Norsca/High Elves.

For High Elves only guessing them because of the Youtubers. I don't think they really make sense though as the third faction.

That's precisely what I'm saying. I didn't border that many grudge heavy factions. Not enough to catapult me to 16k grudges.
There was 160-300-300 on settlements, then two armies with about 300-500 each (all clan Mors)
Everything else was less than 50. I had barely any grudges bordering me. So what the actual fuck.
heck I had MORE grudges at the start of the second age when I only got about 5k grudges to settle.

the outer towers come pre-built and they force you to rush to the walls with no preparation. They are splash artillery.

The inner towers mean essentially that as soon as your lord enters the city his hp will start ticking down and you can never regroup or slow down, just push push push
