They really just expect you to spend your life on this game? This makes me think that no one at this shit company actually plays the game to make the pass this grindy. It's entirely a possibility that the people who work at Riot games don't know that a single match is often a 1 hour commitment all things considered.

They are op by themselves but dont synergize the same way that pure damage items do, so a full set of tank items wont be nearly as powerful as a full set of damage items.

Crit scales with AD, and attack speed scales with both, thats 3 way synergy. Lethality scales itself, and ad, and armor pen; another 3 way. AP scales with Magic pen, and deathcap makes it scale with itself. CDR also helps mages scale their damage, while tanks dont scale their defense up with cdr much.

can you put Anivia in there too? maybe Nidalee, Zoe and Cassio? I think those champs require a lot of micro in addition to macro/positioning expertise and real trials of your command over the fundamentals.

but I dont think its a fair comparison. Pentakill has a ENTIRE ALBUM whereas True Damage and Heartsteel only have one single and Riot immediately gave up on them.

It's just crazy to me they're only having 10 characters in the fucking base roster as a TAG FIGHTER. the thing about the 2xko roster that you have to remember is that it was announced at the same time as ruined king. so you have darius (face of league and cutest character), ekko (was being hard pushed at the time), the ruined king cast (braum, yasuo, ahri, illaoi). so that explains those picks (seriously braum and illaoi what the fuck)

Hot Take but I think all League Streamers should be banned from doing "Bronze to Masters" on new accounts. we all already know theyre capable of reaching it. theres no excitement to it and all they do is ruin the experience of lower level players. probably. Cait got an easy disengage with E, which both knocks you back and slows the enemy and you get to aa right after to deal damage to make chasing more unappealing. W is a deterrent to go in a straight line, and her Q is longer ranged, though it doesnt gain damage like MF's

I always thought it was Jungle personally but apparently its support which I guess makes some sense. In a way of thinking someone having that much agency over your ability to win or lose the game is "OP".

Its fun when you are trying to learn how to Vertical a comp or simply test interactions. I think Renekton is cool so at first I was trying to see what comp can play him as the carry but then I just started playing Bruisers (the OG intent was to use Bruisers to boost his HP then give him sustain items like BT/HoJ) and I kinda got carried away. Cho'Gath is my homie now.

what was so bad about set 12 launch? the mainstay bad sets that stand out in my mind was Dragonlands and that one set where the blue cosmic comp trivialized all other comps to an insane degree (best early game but also good lategame, Illaoi and Varus were both insane).

I thought set 12 was okay from what I remember.

well nearly all TFT sets actually have functionally identical concepts between traits. you have the loss-streak trait, the "rush a bunch of level 3 stars ASAP for a power boost" trait, the all-offensive glass cannon trait, the trait that gives you items and the "assassin" trait (though Riot doesnt like these traits since they trololo the noobs too hard who cant move front to back so theyve actually mostly turned assassins into just crit chance glass cannons that sometimes can get to the backline with some items and they live/die by the Edge of Night item) ect ect.

Lulu is actually really good and enables Twitch/Kog'Maw. Nami and Milio are good with Lucian. Renata is good if Kalista is locked. Seraphine is good if played in the APC role with another Enchanter like Sona, Karma or sometimes Taric. they make teamfighting a uphill slog for the enemy. Sona and Taric are pretty good together. Do we count Senna as a Enchanter? a Enchanter Carry? if so then yeah Senna you can play with a tank and she can carry while funneling all your gold into the tank support. USUALLY people do it with Tahm but I find its really good with Braum imo. Senna and Braum is SOOO goddamn annoying.

depends on champions basically but yes. theres a time and a place for most supports in the game. theres no "always bad" enchanter.

meh, I like it better when items are low powered and lame. means more power has to come from the champion kit and abilities/how you play it gets to stand out more. Its SOOOO fucking lame when some bs item effect ends up dealing like 30% of my hp bar (Divine Sunderer/BoRK/Kraken/Liandries/Feral Flare?!!)

Might be a problem with the client, occasionally it happens I login a bit late but still before minion spawn, rarely it doesn't login at all. I hate when it happens because my PC is fine.

Q1 (the longways Q) is the easiest to poke with. you can just use that and not commit the other Q's. E lets you reposition your Q's so use Q1+E for poke then you can back off. Q2 doesnt matter as much but Q3 deals the most amout of damage so save your E to land that if you can.

in lane just poke people with the first Q and play for CS, you scale. you dont have to make the magic happen early necessarily. if you can hit your W then it sets up your Q3 with the chain yank.
In teamfights dont dive. fight with your team and try to take out the frontline ASAP. if you attempt to dive past the tank you will get your ass fucked and not in the fun kind of way with Van Darkholme. Because you have MONSTER AD buff on your R get Maw and Deaths Dance if you find yourself dying a lot (two AD scaling items). you get very high value out of them. Eclipse also might help you bring down tanks/Duel better and once you become proficient on Aatrox you can graduate to Hubris and/or Profane Hydra. Penetration is very important so goodjob getting Serylda's there. the biggest thing you can understand probably is knowing that you dont have to commit all Q's and can play more conservatively if you have range up on your target.

watch Naayil (high level Aatrox one-trick). ABSORB his knowledge for your own.

OH also put all the ingame volume on low and voices on Maximum.

So I'm switching from Fleet Footwork to Conqueror Nunu Support. I build Rod of Ages+Celestial Opposition with Lucidity Boots. Then I focus on Abyssal Mask, Unending Despair, or Trailblazer, with Spirit Visage and Frozen Heart as off-picks. I've only played normals so far with it but it feels stronger. I'm going to switch from Celestial to Sleigh, it should be better.

Just push the wave (or get it stuck in the middle) and ward enemy jungle + put a control ward on dragon bush and then go help the rest of your team catch the enemy jungler or play for objectives. ADCs are sore winner/loser crybabies an their role doesn't matter for a reason

no but seriously. its pretty unoptimal. MAYBE you can consider it I guess once you get your Core out of the way and are already winning. but there are definitely better items than that and aatrox doesnt benefit all that much from AS not nearly as much as he does from penetration and CDR. If you want AS to take down towers just use your E for a auto reset(it can do that) OR take attack speed Alacritiy in precision tree with an Attack speed rune so you dont have to give up THAT much for a smoother experience.
the main problem is that Aatrox despite being a fighter stuck vs the frontline sloppa has no sort of free-pen or shred and champions in modern league get unhealthy amounts of armor in the lategame which means you wont be able to kill anything before you explode if you ignore AD and Pen and with Hydra items you USUALLY want to get them pretty early so you can use them to clear waves so I dunno if its the right call to delay stats that matter like that.

OHHHH by the way I almost forgot. Sundered Sky. Its not as great as it once was but its still okay. personally I dont like it but I've seen it do work before.

it can be good but the ideal duo that clicks with everything you two are thinking about and sweeping lanes all the time to carry games (but also tolerates losses and doesn't give up on eachother) is very rare, last time i had such as duo we won about 22 games straight in a single session and it was great, also puts both in the mood to try and actually improve in the game seriously
these things are quite rare and the game is very team dependant now compared to back the , id say a winning botlane but everything in the map losing will not really mean the botlane can secure victories anymore, i've also found i need to roam to assist my junglers and laners across the map a lot more due to too many objectives spawning back to back everywhere which deliver a lot more wins than sticking to the adc all the time, it's a bit unfortunate because your duo will feel alone and maybe die here and there but still is a boost in lp overall to be worth

I mean if you want a champion that just activates a steroid and statchecks the ever loving shit out of the enemy like pre-rework Aatrox theres still Trundle. Trundles entire identity is still wholistic stat-inversion and stat-check bullying.

If the problem is you find his minigame too complicated then Mordekaiser,Kled, Big-G, Master Yi, Teemo, Singed, Sett or Nasus. all of those champions have Boomer arthritic friendly gameplay still and can be played top.

Aatrox gained quite a sizeable fanbase post rework. far more than he ever had before so I doubt Riot is going to be bringing back his old gameplay anytime soon.

Akshans,Samira and Aphelios are mixed bags. when someone knows what they are doing on those champs theyre total beast. I am in awe when Samira gets two back to back Penta's or when Aphelios is one shotting everything left and right while eating tanks for breakfast with Chakrams. ACTUAL 1v5 champions but rather you get the G.O.D or Mr Bean is up in the air every game.

I've had a single non-streak win or loss in 19 games. This is actually retarded. Leagueofgraphs says i'm 13% more likely to win after a win and 12% more likely to lose after a loss. It's getting absolutely ridiculous. It's inorganic as fuck. only 2/18 losses were even 45+ minute games, all others were stomps one way or the other, where both solo laners go 0/5 on one team. Fair matchmaking doesn't exist.

i have to literally scroll down 31 games until there's one game where i have a laning score under 51:49 yet my win loss is 19W:21L

How is it possible that I NEVER EVER int my laner win or lose and even in my winning games I carry glue sniffers that go 0/8 if i have three other human teammates. How is this fair? I have like ten games on my match history where the winning enemy adcs (GIGA COUNTER MATCHUP AGAINST ME) is 3/5/4 140cs and i'm 5/3/4 180cs yet i've lost 125 LP over 40 games. The enemy ADC is never ever a significant factor in games, but I keep losing to 1-3 of top/mid/jungle going 0/8.

There's nothing to improve when i already never lose lane even in the worst possible matchups. I can't improve if I keep playing against worse players who don't pressure me like higher elo laners who I actually would lose lane to some proportion of the time.

Fact is, there are people climbing who go 0/8 many times while I'm dropping like a rock (125LP over 42 games) because solo laners keep first timing shit every game and going 0/5 in 10 minutes.

As a Bronze toplaner myself, there are things I definitely hate, and one of them is getting behind because of matchups. Unfortunately, toplane has the champs I like to play with and I can't move from that lane for other reasons, unless I want to make very exotic (bad) picks. Sometimes I hate being a toplaner.

interesting take. here's what I think. I think the on-set of ranked has been a disaster for gaming and there are too many people who are ultimately mediocre who's ego will not allow them to accept mediocrity. they come up with any lie and any excuse they can to run from their shadow.
some of us here never had the makings of a varsity and athlete and without the explosion of online multiplayer titles many would have went to the grave never knowing such a bitter truth that theyre the small fish.

If a guy went to a gym and saw a 300lb bellbar he of course would know theres no way he could lift it without prior training.

but now in todays world. a guy see's a 300lb Bellbar, goes "Hold my beer" then when his chest caves in he cries " THEY MADE MINE HEAVIER! THEY PUT SOMETHING IN IT! I'VE PICKED THINGS UP BEFORE, THIS IS A TRICK TO GET ME TO BUY MORE GYM MEMBERSHIP!".
its nonsense yet this is regularly the hill people plant the holy standard of Terra on.

BTW if you wanna see actual EOMM go play Marvel Rivals (another tencent game IIRC) last I played if you lost 3 games in a row they would take you out of matchmaking and slot you into a literal bot match with randomly gen'd names and hidden profiles. now THATS how you assume direct control vs the more simple minded. pulling this exact scenario with REAL HUMANS without it being OBVIOUS AS FUCK with a cursory profile glance in all these fucking MP titles is far far trickier and more ridiculous of a feat.

the rigging isn't absolute determinate, in the same sense that any rigging isn't absolute determinate. Riot is working with percentages and estimates. They don't need to be 100% pinpoint laser accurate with the rigging. I'm not an AI engineer, but it's easy to profile players which plays worse after a loss for example. It's then trivial for riot to put 4 of these people in your game after they've lost and riot wants to knock your rank down a peg, and then statistically you'll just end up losing those games way way more often. Just as with DnD, sometimes you roll a D20 and you win an impossible encounter the DM didn't intend for you to succeed. But 19/20 rolls, you don't.

NTA but the only reason I agree something is off, is that I used to have genuinely positive win rates years ago, screenshot at hand there was steady improvement and if I was dropping it was merely me tilting. And yet, even if I dropped Bronze from Silver, I always managed to climb back. I have no idea why I struggle this much now and I hate it, takes away any enjoyment from putting effort and seeing results.
