Low elo junglers do not tower dive so you can indefinitely chill at tower and scale regardless of what they pick

My build typically looks like Collector (probably ineffecient) IE LDR and then I switch off to on-hit items like kraken/bork for tanks/bruisers or defensive items GA or maw for mages and the other adc if my team has trouble dealing with them

I find it a flexible all around armor item in general, it gives alright stats and keeps a slot open for another damage item.

It's a fine item, yeah, it works nice on Mordekaiser. But he also has a 15% intrinsic magic armor pen, it's not much but it's better than none at all.

Somehow, yeah, but do consider I'm Bronze and used to average in Silver, I'm not an Emerald or Diamond. I have to rely on my team in some way. Best I can do instead of a 1v5, is splitpushing.

Bloodletters would've done a lot more for you all than a Liandries or Endless. since you were playing a tank build it would have been some good utility too.

you had a Amumu that was going all tank. it wasnt "team full of squishies". you had a frontline engage. you didnt necessarily have to play second frontline since amumu had your back. KNOW YOUR ROOOOLE. you were not the designated otanky. coulda just built some damage (esp if you are the consistently best performer on the team) OR you should have been playing for utility. instead you did a oddjob build that didnt debuff in anyway nor deal any big scary damage and still was easy to overcome due to prioritizing the most ineffecient of the resist items (if the goal is "Stay alive" then Randiuns Omen keeps you kicking longer than Endless will against double crit carry).

I think I was doing Bloodletter as last item instead of Liandry, they both share the mask item in the recipe if I'm not mistaken. Having that much HP and not build the Riftmaker feels like a shame on Mordekaiser, if anything the build order could've been: Riftmaker>Heartsteel>Bloodletter>JakSho>Endless Despair, instead of Heartsteel>Riftmaker (this is already a mistake I wasn't aware of up to a couple of days ago).
Also do consider that the build has some nice burst damage with Shield Bash and Heartsteel proc, you can burst the squishy carry with that alone in midgame; lategame the build likely falls off yeah. No matter now, I'll keep doing the move speed-AP build for now.

Playing for jungle does work but it also gets annoying since i've been playing support lately and have to upgrade boots to roam around the map to help them out with their objectives else they typically just never do it
This means i'll always be super behind the support item completion and leveling 6 on top of having to abandon the adc all the time which risks the death and tower aspects of the feats
These jungle objectives tend to make or break the games so i guess the temporary setback is well worth it though again, annoying

right now for Bronze its okay I guess if you stick to 1 build you know but in the future you are gonna have to pick different items to adapt to whatever is going on in the game. Just a heads up. decide whats "core" to your champion and what items are interchangable. I think another reason I dont like Heartsteel (aside from it being impossibly hard to stack on immobile chunkers) is that it railroads you into a hp stack build in order to reap the full value from it. even when the full HP stack build might not be the best choice.

I think I get what you mean there, but as I said the other day, Mordekaiser doesn't need a lot of AP. The bonus you get from Riftmaker along with another AP utility (Bloodletter for team, Liandry for his passive's synergy), should be enough when armor and HP make your shield seem chunkier. The issue of mobility remains the same whether I build him AP or Tank-AP: Mordekaiser needs someone else to engage. You can still go all-in on the carry with the ult, but you have to hope the team can do a 4v4.

I played jungle for a while when Kayn released, and I still kept the Silver rank even if it's not a big achievement, but it was also a different game back then. I'm not a good jungler and I don't trust myself with such a coin-flip'y role. Besides, toplane has (most of) the champs I like to play with, although 2 of them are also junglers I think.

You can't pick him early in draft, but even if they were 5 melees and you don't have champions that can engage, you have to play for objectives so you have the enemy team walk into you.

thats debatable but either way he DOES still need damage. Mordekaiser does not have >offensive< scaling HP ratios. Mordekaisers...reason for existence is to be a giant blob of DAMAGE that slowly ambles across the field and engages the other frontlines or divers. he doesnt unplug controllers and displace like Zac or Grag. If you arent dealing damage on Mordekaiser then you aren't validating your reason for picking him most likely (I guess if the enemy team has a single frontline you can steal them away to brazil so they cant front to back) but generally even with tank items Morde is not going to use them more effective than a actual tank champion would which means optimally you should probably get damage since thats your area of expertise comparatively.

If you aren't bringing enough pain to threaten people yet also aren't out-tanking a Malphite then whut I say, I say WHAT is the point of picking that there Mordekaiser friend?

Liandrie doesnt synergize with your passive. it just looks cool beside it. thats a common pitfall though. like how all Vaynes think they should build Bork because %max health damage on top of %current health damage must make me a uber super duper tank killah but in reality you are dealing less damage per second than you could be doing if you had gone something else because not a single dipshit vayne ever gets any sort of pen for it.

Liandry is for pummeling other tanks/fighters and it still requires meaningful amounts of penetration or shred to be fully realized. something which doesnt seem to be in your priority list. 7% of max HP per second funneled through 200 magic resist becomes more like 2 or 3% which means the item cucks socks. get Bloodletters, get flat pen. be a actual threat then women will name their toys after you and men will want to be you. dunno about you but my Sahn Uzal is coming in the mail next Tuesday.

only difference between them would probably be opinions on champs since some champs are good in low elo but drop off heavily as you go higher and how to better have done something in terms of gameplay, then there's also the subjective pointers but those typically end up becoming mindless drivel

I think I'm going to soft quit the game. I'm not having fun. I won't play after a loss. If I lose the first game multiple days a row I'll just actually 1000% quit. every elo is allowed to have complaints. for example, in fighting games throws are cheap even if good players can throw break them. the issue is the benefit is outmatched with the effort and skill required to counter them.

in tekken you can press 1+2 to do guaranteed damage to a blocking enemy, but the one that is being thrown needs to recognize the throw animation and has to have labbed them for hours. tekken players say you need to "see which hand they reach with and press the corresponding button" but many of them it seems they 1. reach at the same time with both hands 2. characters stand with left shoulder facing towards the enemy so left arm is kind of by default 3. if the characters have flipped on the screen backs are facing towards the camera

just because good players can counter throws because they labbed against king for 20 hours doesn't mean that's not bullshit effort required versus JUST PRESSING 1+2 or 3+4 which then requires the opponent to have labbed for dozens of hours.

there are a million things in league that work like this. you have to jump through a billion hoops to maybe outplay a statchecker that has point and click outplay button.

just because you've learned to cope with bullshit in the game doesn't mean it isn't objectively speaking bullshit.

i think the gameplay and quick queue aspect of it was good especially since it was the one game mode in sr you could play whatever you wanted without considering comps
however i believe when i played swiftplay after quickplay was plugged i did not like how me and my team had to pull teeth to get all the jungle objectives and base towers only for the enemies to sit till late and get the same thing going on their side., on top of this the game definitely feels different than the ranked map due to the items ratios being different, getting used to swiftplays damage and such will make playing ranked and maybe even drafts a bit alien
that being said, just the fact that ranked has at max 2 party premades and how the game atleast tries to put me against other players of similar rank is good enough for me to play that over swiftplay, this on top of ranked probably giving more battlepass exp and more rewards like free skins

It's not just Xin though, it's every bruiser. Viego and Wukong for instance have very comparable damage and insane utility built into their kits. People just don't play them anymore because of how boring they are but bruisers have been the obviously strongest class in the game ever since mythics w/ Divine Sunderer. Sundered Sky replacing it and bruiser items still giving tank levels of HP for no real reason whilst every other class pretty much has no means of countering it because all you've got is anti-ARMOR itemization, not anti-HP stacking itemization means, well, yeah. Just kidding but I don't really enjoy arguing against points with "oh but (x) champion can counter it" - every champion has a counter and an exploitable weakness and even though I feel like it'd be very nice if that wasn't the case, it's just the nature of the game going on for so long and having so many different variables.
I know the argument started as us talking about Viego/Wuk/Xin but I'm trying to look at it from the perspective of the class as a whole, not any individual champion and in that respect bruisers just have so many options compared to every other class, arguably and maybe even mages which is insane to say imo due to the mere existence of Zhonya's but if you take into account how a standard bruiser build might be comprised of Eclipse/Sundered Sky, Sterak's/Maw and let's say DD and whatever else and how NONE of those items are renowned or treated as being purely defensive items AS WELL as how bruisers arguably have the most freeform itemization out of any class with lots of them frequently shifting into lethality builds or tank builds, those very same dominating the metas whenever they show up, and, well, I just feel like you've got a very convincing argument for bruisers having even better items than mages.
Riot could easily cut the HP given by bruiser items by half with absolutely no consequence. Champions like Viego, Graves and Lee already have 3k base HP @ 18 and base resistances out the ass in my personal experience. Honestly though most of this is tilt because every time I play against a Lee or such and the game goes late and I see the Lee's HP bar dwarfing everyone else's bar in length it just bothers me sooo fucking much lol.
Sundered 400 HP, BC 400 HP, Sterak's 400 HP and then at times you get Volibear or Trundle in the meta taking Hullbreaker with a +500 HP or Fimbulwinter with +550 HP as well AND THAT'S ON TOP OF ALL THE SHIELDS AND UNIQUE SURVIVAL PASSIVES TOO. AAAAAAAA

It's the same reason I think assassins are also perceived as strong when they're really not - when I was maining Rengar there were sooo many times I'd have my ult mark up on someone and they'd just run *towards* a bush while trying to get away from me or then flash away while fighting me within a bush as if I couldn't just leap to them to follow it up. Again, it's the fear. League players just seem to be completely mindbroken in certain respects like this desu lol. It's more mental than anything is what I'm getting at. Draven is another example, he really isn't that strong and hasn't been that strong in a while but people are just so fucking mindbroken that when someone playing Draven starts running at you they just run away instinctively instead of fighting back.

August has said very plainly on his streams that bruisers get health on their items and no resists unless they compromise because it's the easiest way to make them not instantly fucking explode, which would cause burst mages and burst ADCs to become overrepresented. If Caitlyn with no gold advantage is oneshotting Riven or Aatrox, it just feels like shit to play those champions as intended and they inevitable end up building assassin items so they can just oneshot you first.

different champions for different points in the climb. a seemingly "braindead" champion actually might become a challenge to carry/get a win with at higher elos. Samira for instance might print surrender votes from her enemies in gold but in chally to dia feel "unplayable". Rammus is another example. Reigns in Faustlow, a servant in Asmiovhigh elos.

Or did you mean when is she good in lane? She's good if you can safely harass the enemy bot duo or keep your adc alive. She's not that great at either, there are lots of other better enchanters at doing both.
Reach level 13 without feeding and then your team will be in a very good spot.

Because she's not. You rely on solely being the better player in lane, knowing when to engage and disengage, rather than relying on a strong champion or cheap champ matchup, because she's just really weak.
Scaling and getting through the laning phase is the name of the game. If the enemy misplays a lot and you can get your team some kills, even better.

Nobody goes Kraken on Tristana anymore. It's all Yun Tal now and Navori means always having +120% attack speed from Q at all times. Having E constantly on someone is also too important. E bombs are a big chunk of Tristana's damage and once it's on that long ass cooldown you kinda just slap people with a wet noodle if they're a bruiser or tank.

"mid CC" is a bit of an understatement, as good positioned boxes can be teamfight winning by themselves
it excels vs engage/dive/assassin comps like vi, kaisa, akali and so on because you place boxes down as aoe peelers for your backline and you can do some real nifty shit with your clone
its also really good for objective fights, naturally.
ap shaco has a very high skill ceiling and can be completely useless if you're not a good player in general (one of those champs that scales with game knowledge)

It'll still suck if you go full glass AP or tank though. In my experimenting only perma slow felt playable. Your damage is less one shot-y but Blackfire + Rylai's slowing people for 4 seconds just makes it so much easier to kite out or chase people, spamming Q's and W's the whole way like as if you're Ezreal. Cause even when you're 4k HP with a 1000 AP you just crumple up and die the moment someone walks at you with E on cooldown with the tank build. Perma slow lets you hold E and use it only for extreme situations cause your Q's will just slow people to a crawl and keep them at the edge of your range instead. Don't spread it to the actual Veigar mains, they are retarded and deserve to continue suffering for not thinking of this build sooner.
