Two options that I know of, one can be mc'd by a priest at low health and then released when one dies and you can taunt the one that's about to die away since there is a range on the heal. Unsure if you can lust them and cleave them down evenly like the 4 mini bosses at the end of soa but I haven't done it accidentally yet.

Until they decided to make it a common friggin mob in some places, my favourite pet was always the Warpstalker boss you had to summon in Terrokar Forest. Black and Yellow Striped.
Made better when I turned my Draenei Hunter to a Lightforged one, fit the theming nicely.

But since its not a great pet these days, I use a Gold Argus cat. Which takes more effort to get than finding a rare! Haha!

Its a very "fantastic" zone, in the way the haunted forest zones often are. Oppressive, threatening.

It's not "comfy" but its got character and weight the way that duskwood does. Dark Forest is just a good zone type.

Same reason Drustvar is so great.

I can't stress enough how much I miss original Darkshore and how much I fucking hate Catacylsm for ruining that place.
The Northern Dock town at Amirdassil is 'nice', especially with the surviving Darkshore NPC's there, but it's just not the same. Not capturing the feel. I want Auberdine back.

I don't mind Lor'danel, but the added layer of depression Catacylsm brought by ruining Auberdine, forcing the Druids to 'over-greenify' an area for a new settlement and the citizens constantly panicking about survivors and elemental attacks and such, it absolutely kills the vibe of the place.
I miss just walking those long arse docks, swimming under them, fighting threshers, fishing the unique zone fish that sucked... It was the most mood zone I ever experienced.

I think he maybe fell off out of WoW around Legion? It seemed like he played sporadically after that xpac, and usually just played either a Human Male Rogue (probably for PvP reasons), or his femtauren Pally (probably vorefag reasons).

Ever since I've been playing since... I wanna say, around the pandemic? Maybe a little before then?
He literally never gets on. Unless it's to play with his online normie bros. I think even his mom (who h8s me and probably has 0 clue I'm still in her son's life) legit plays more than he ever does. Lmao...

It's sad but we've definitely drifted apart over years. I've accepted the fact that things will probably never be the same.
Used to chat on mics ALLLLL the time, for years... Now we never do. It's very rare we even say much of anything to each other on Telegram these days, besides the occasional meme or furry Sticker.

When I was new to Moon Guard - right at the tail end of Shadowlands - I met this small RP guild. Instantly made good friends with the folks there. I was such a noob to roleplaying but they took me in and made me feel like I really belong - because I did. We'd spend every night hanging out on discord RPing or PVPing or just goofing off. It was like ~8 of us. Good mix of people too - two guys with their girlfriends, couple women that just liked to play video games, just regular fun people.

But things drift apart, be it interests in the game changing, drama happening, life catching up to people, what have you. Some of it my fault too, god knows I'm not perfect. I still try to keep up with some of them, but it's obviously not at all what it used to be.
Just one of those things where you wish you knew you were in the Good Ol' Days before they became a memory, y'know?
The /wowg/ fellas I've made friends with in my short time here on this godless heathen website are good people too.

Yeah, I still try to check in with folks, even if they don't have time or the bandwidth to respond at the time. Sometimes I don't hear from someone for months/over a year, but as long as they show some sort of activity (like briefly being logged in somewhere via mobile), I feel relieved knowing they're alive in some capacity.

Like, a few days ago my friend/ex actually called (he literally NEVER calls, he hates talking on the phone as much as I do, so I knew it was srs bsn) after not hearing from him for months, to say his father had passed. And we did what we usually would, and just... talked about everything BUT that. It seemed to help him in a way, at least. Less focus on the pain.

If I wanna get rustic/traditional, then maybe a cavern; Something involving sand, hourglasses, etc. With a hoard of gold & assortment of items (ie. gems/jewels, etc.). Maybe a bonfire nearby, a Marukai cookpot, a comfy area to rest in (if you don't feel like laying directly in/onto your hoard, maybe have your treasures surrounding the comfy spot?).

If I wanna be a little more modern/civilized, then maybe one of the little building type structures in Valdrakken; with a bed, some profession equipment and a place to actively work/create stuff. Idk, I'm not super creative.

In regards to my femworg druid tho, either something Gilnean(/Victorian) gothic/spooky, or a den fitting of a Druid; with a pool, maybe a fishing area or something? Idk, just something comfy.

Ny’alotha was an incredible raid and a couple of the dungeons were pretty good. Glad we got Vulpera and Mechagnome races out of it and Stormsong Valley was a wonderful zone, but literally everything else about that expac sucks. Zandalar is just soulless STV, the characters are all shit, Sylvanas’ character gets assassinated in real time in front of us, and as you said, the systems were fuckass awful.

For some this is the very definition of fun. It is very twitchy and a very knee-jerk reaction spec, sure. You just gotta think on your feet. As for button bloat it has the same number of buttons, roughly (+/- 1/2 maybe) as most other classes. MOST specs have lots of buttons, enhance isn't some kind of outlier. As for resources you basically ignore all that. You'll never have to worry about any of it - even when spot healing to help save the group in an emergency.

Finally grinded out thrayir. Wasn't that bad of a grind. Maybe 7 or 8 hours. Really they just recolored the rogue class mount from BFA and added some lightning to if. It doesn't have the cool mounting animation of the rogue class mount though.

i see i see. do you enjoy managing pets? because if so i'd recommend demo lock. it's probably the laziest spec in the game and very easy to play and not that much harder to play very well. it gets a lot of slack as far as choices go because pets do a lot of the work and will keep working even while you are doing very little or nothing so it's very forgiving. plus it's the most durable caster so also very easy to take care of yourself.

Flame sigil is really, really funky with grabbing threat on out of combat mobs.
Basically the initial pop does not extra tank bonus threat if you aren't in combat with them.

But current Raider.io really needs to remove any mention of untimed run from the ingame addon, lot of fags refused to complete untimed +10/+11/+12 back in week 1 because of this when we were just at the last boss, just kill the boss niggers I want the loot.

Warcraftlogs parses are also stupid, like for example on Stix (4th boss), the best way to parse is TO NOT GET ANY OF THE MECHANIC, it's all rng but also cleave all adds before someone else does.
You need PI, an evoker aug buffing you but also every buffs from classes like dh/monk/mage/druid/warrior

At some points we were both pumping a LOT. I edged out on boss fights and also during lust pulls.

The thing about shadow priest comes down to making sure your dots are spread on all mobs before you pump. this includes both hardcasting vampiric touch A LOT and knowing/holding onto your shadow crash to spread dots. Shadowcrash will only apply dots to 8 targets, and sometimes your tank will pull 10 or more. I always spread 4 dots before i toss my shadow crash, and it just sucks on some pulls like first pull on DFC and the shadow villager dwaves on the finalpulls of Rookery. It just takes a lot of feeling to know when to shadowcrash. You also have to lead the projectile, lest the tank move your adds away from the crash.
In this regard, tank-pulling knowledge comes in handy. If youre playing on VC, ask the tank to let you know which mobs he's pulling so you can prepare.

Rogue has offensive utility which is way more useful after kich change. Feral has aoe displacements and best group buff in the game. Downside is, feral competes with boomkin (and usually loses that competition) and occasionally rdruid/bear while rogue competes with… well all melee that are more useful, which is most melee.

The thing about pulling big this season is that it requires your DPS to be aware enough to pop defensives ocasionally, or if your healer can cope with the incoming damage waves. Its what I love the most about this season to be honest with you. It filters out braindead people so hard lol

Shadowlands would've been a better expansion had I not had a dark cloud of the "wrong choice of covenant" looming over my head.

I really, really like Venthyr... as my transmog at the time was a Legion lock set, the red and grays worked great.... but everytime I would open a class guide for Destro Warlock, I was told I was making the wrong choice.

Even when I coped and claimed that the choice was insignificant and only a slight dps boost.. I still felt like I was doing the wrong thing.

Also it was literally FOMO: The Expansion. Every covenant was tied to a rep grind and even worse, an anima grind that's still bad to this day. Each covenant has its own myriad of rewards and it's own events have their own rewards, or maybe just the Venthyr have that party slop that was WEEKLY time gated.

I never even did the Maw but in revisting it, one of the modes goes on for what feels like forever...

I had recently returned to Shadowlands to acquire tmog and mounts, which I never finished the Venthyr or their anima upgrade system.

On my alts, you like can't get into the story? It's really confusing. Like how do you engage with the Shadowlands story when you're revisting the expansion on an alt?

If you choose to skip the opening quest line, you're kind of just lost and given world quests for every zone.

But what about the main quest lines like after you do your introductory tour of Bastion > Maldraxxus > Faggotland > Venthyr?

Where is the main story?

It feels like they managed to hide it or delete it entirely from the game. When I chose venthyr it felt as if after I unlocked world quests and what have you, there was a whole long story spanning over the entirety of the Revendreth zone....maybe that's because it was a prelude to the raid tier?

Even with current videos dating back only a year... I am still puzzled on how the fuck to reengage with shadowlands content in the current year.

The Jailor may be the biggest letdown nothingburger ever, aside from Argus.

Those that provide group buff and do good numbers - so enh and veng. Ret has a chance if both prot and hpal are mediocre and ret is well tuned, but it’s rarely the case (right now it’s just barely good enough to be in demand). DK being wanted is definitely out of the usual since they suck dick so they’re only taken when they do shitloads of damage (and also dk is fucking shit to play).
This patch? It would be havoc and enh, but veng is op so havoc is out - seriously, havoc is so fucking good, it’s ret aoe but with 30% better ST. Enh is king cause group buff (but competes with ele), ret and unholy are a notch below, feral is good but is pushed out by boomkin and everything else is garbage.
tldr pick between enh and ret
