in a 1v1? "thats the thing, You dont". Fiora is bred specifically to take out big clunky slow predictable fighters like Morde. If you can try to out perform her in teamfights. FIora is HORRIBLE in teamfights but Morde is..okay. you just remove the enemy frontline and pray your team drafted better OR you focus the enemy mage if theyre immobile/traditional and come out with a free Large Rod and Ruby Crystal though personally I like ulting tanks. theyre immobile, thats a LOT of bonus HP to sap and I get to wail on them with my Nashors

not all matchups are winnable. yes. welcome to video games with rosters. Grapplers lose to zoners and Demoman beats Engineer. the question is how do you adapt to this hard truth? you might be able to still find a glimmer of hope if you know how to think outside of the box.

what I used to do when I was given a unwinnable matchup that I couldnt proxy is. First I would iniate plan ALPHA which is to politely ask for a gank. If ganks didnt happen then I would unleash plan OMEGA.

(Baki/HxH translator voice Narrator)
plan Omega is a gambit where one player on the backfoot exploits the enemy players greed, opting instead to give up both outer towers and hope that their lane opponent can no longer show prescense without over extending for a collapse. the base team fountain being only a short gap away allows for much safer recovery of farm.

alternatively if nobody helps me even then well I just let her end and then I get out of that cenobite torture game anyways lol

I call this "Game Euthanization"

You can argue his siblingship with Lillia is meant to be a positive mirror to his tumultuous siblingship with Yasuo. Even more so since his lore incentivizes that his death and subsequent turning into a human-demon/spirit hybrid has made him mellow out from the strict and uptight person he was who valued honor and duty above almost all else (demon manipulation aside). A ton of his skins feature him being some kind mentor or parental figure to several other champions too (Yasuo again in Spirit Blossom, Rell in High Noon, the entirety of the band in Heartsteel, Kayn in Dawn/Nightbringer, Pyke and Varus in Fiend Queller). It's not all that strange.

Its not the same dynamic as being an adc with a shit support. Because they have to walk up to the wave to get farm.

are you seriously going to tell me you've never had a game where just walking back to lane the jungler was sitting in the side bush between the tower waiting for you? its really demoralizing and makes the game feel "unplayable". kicking em while theyre down protection is already conceptually in the game via other under the hood debuffs (like de-escalating gold bounty on repeat kills).

I just think its a concept that bears countenance

okay. NVCLEAR take but I do not think champs like that exist anymore. Yorick,Olaf,Renekton,Garen,Nunu,Hecarim, Miss Fortune, Lee Sin,Rek'Sai, Urgot and Volibear ALL got reworks that shifted around enough points in their kit to make them consistent even at the lategame. in OLD league there were very clear cut champs that did fucking nothing after about 10 minutes (Acid Hunter Urgot/Yorick fucking Mori and Pantheon I think are the purest examples of this being a absolute terror then doing fucking nothing) and NOW in modern LoL every and I do mean EVERYONE scales to late. SOME just happen to have playstyles that lend themselves better to lategame "Everything now explodes" environment and a select few champions have hyperscaling abilities that make them standout. but I truly honestly from the bottom of my heart do not think that LoL a "early game focused" champion anymore that loses its legs come late so long as you dont do a troll build. Those kind of champions were basically too hard to balance for casuals and were paradoxical to what most people expected out of the game (get strong with time and items) so Riot just up and killed the concept and then standardized the cast.

ALSOOOO there a lot more items now that give scaling to themselves or are inherent in of themselves so even a champ who theoretically should be mediocre late can STILL be good just because of some synergy happening elsewhere. the most OBVIOUS example of this is Heartsteel,Sunfire and Endless Despair. like jesus fuck tell me that shit is not the most .. nvm.

anyways you get my point I hope. EVERYTHING SCALES, ITS WHY PPL COMPLAIN ABOUT DMG BEING TOO HIGH NOW. it literally is. items scaling with items and runes like Gathering Storm or uh whats HP boosting one in resolve tree you should ALWAYS take?

his ultimate grants him escalating %armor pen. he can leverage Blade of the Ruin King to stay relevant also his W deals %max health damage. he most definitely does not fall off and can continue being a terror to tank champions. if you think he falls off YOU are building him wrong as in a vaccumn he is still a excellent duelist. again its his PLAYSTYLE that suffers the most as Pantheon is not the type of beefy fighter that wants to be on the frontline eating Marksmen boolets (need more boolets sir). E pull, auto while they still have the tapering slow then Auto and animation cancel into W then wind up Q. now you only need ONE more auto attack to activate enrage mode OR if you are desperate just toss out the ult early. yes I know you dont WANT to use ult until 5 stacks because of how powerful it is but if you can win without it then it can be worth to use it just to get to stacks faster.

go watch the best Darius in CN btw. Darius 5stacks is actually trivial when you learn how to do it. its the same learning curve as Samira and Fiora. once you download the "tech" they just become 50% more powerful.

you are trying to make this sound like some sort of bad thing but think of it like this.
you are a champion that other champions cannot be within range of you for longer than 4 seconds or you crush them at nearly any/every stage of the game.

Darius's 1 weakness of course champions who can kill him even faster than that or can disengage him like Riven.

anyways you do this sequence on the cocky frontline then make your way to the backline with your summoners and instagib them. ON PAPER thats the most consistent battleplan for Darius.

I gave more thought to it and I think I'm beginning to understand what I was doing wrong with the tank Mordekaiser build. I was building Heartsteel first because the idea was getting its stacks early in the game, the issue is that Mordekaiser needs both AP and HP in early game--he doesn't need lots of AP but just the right amount and then go tank'ish. With this in mind, I should try to build Riftmaker first and let the HP scaling early game come from Grasp, then build Heartsteel and go tank.

I can confirm this: make one mistake or be unlucky with a play, and the lane is over unless you freeze the wave just out of the tower. If your opponent freezes the wave better than you, or simply manages to freeze it in a certain wave, you get no minions and you can say goodbye at doing anything in the game. You have to hope another lane or the jungler leave you some minions and mobs, or have the luck of having picked a champ who can still peel in teamfight. A CC toplaner is basically a second support.

Yuumi was adaptive, worked on mages just as well as she worked on AD making her a "never bad" option but specifically she was appearing in TOO many games making LoL stale forcing people to deal with her lazy playstyle.

also Janna is targetable, the Assassin can choose to prioritize Janna first over the ADC if Janna is getting between him and his target everytime. Yuumi obviously is not. you cant ever prevent the target from getting heal spammed nonstop.

Riot needs to seriously rework this game to stop forcing this fucking player interaction meme, all it does is make every game a stomp because the enemy team has to keep headbutting the brick wall or they will never catch up (and most times they won't catch back up anyway once they fall behind in the first place)

Put more jungle camps on the map for laners to farm between waves, pull a Smite/Dota with it cause at this point every game is fucking boring and not even close cause people just take bad fights constantly cause they have no other choice and it makes every game so fucking boring where you're either stomping the enemy into the ground or they stomp your team while you're stuck caged up in your base.

The Jhin was just a gimmick pick. He's just a utility caster with some AD burst. Their real ADC was Viego, but he had to frontline alone. And he had to constantly worry about the jungle stuff. On top of that he had very little peel majority of the time, because his team was 3/5ths artillery casters.

Renekton was too busy off-laning. (Because that's his role). So anytime Viego showed up, we just full sent it on him. Which made it so Renekton had to constantly rotate towards mid.

The entire game we primarily focused on abusing Renekton, while he roamed. To keep him from splitting. By constantly shoving and forcing fights to keep him preoccupied. This relieved pressure from our off-lane, which enabled Yone to hold.

We were able to do this, because the enemy's team lacked an ADC with lane control/clear/push. So we didn't have to worry about them ending.

So we just ARAMed it and kept trading, while we out-scaled them. As long as we traded, with at least 80% efficiency or a pushed mid-lane, we had no real risk of losing.

I don't type much but it also usually depends on the mood of the lobby, for example this morning we won a game just because our jungler had good macro (better than the rest of our team), pings and chat--mostly pings than chat. Botlane got carried 3v5 by him, mid and me toplane who were coordinated one another.

Nilah, can full send it, so yeah. That Champion can ADC, but her timings are tight.

She seems to be, straight up, a better dps Xayah. But Xayah is safer and doesn't need to be babysit as hard. Because of her range, whereas Nilah needs help with lane control. As her lack of range makes it more difficult to hit minions. So someone with long-range poke can pressure her hard.

And typically when drafting you don't want your ADC to have counterable options like that. So either you have to master that match-up with her. Or you have to hold your draft until the enemy locks in their picks.

But when you hold your team's carry draft like that, that means your team can't counter-draft or draft around their carry. And even if you hover Nilah, you can't guarantee the enemy team won't pick her. So you end up doing more harm then good.

Though in Solo Queue that shit shouldn't really matter.

What elo are you? If you're in silver or lower I can tell you the main thing to improve at is just catching as many waves as you can. Base after shoving a wave, roam after shoving a wave, catch a wave before rotating to a fight.
Just doing that one thing more often will make you far stronger than anyone else, even if your team runs it if you're 2-3 levels up on everyone else you can piss smurf on them
