When I was younger I wanted to play the villains. They always looked way more cool and were far more fun than the stoic lawful stupid heroes... But as I've gotten older the idea of a pure hearted hero of justice has become more and more appealing to me. I'm at that awkward part of the VN where I have to finish the less attractive heroines' routes to unlock the true route. Worse, there are small bits of text that change throughout the common route if you pick different choices so the skip read text function doesn't save me as much time as I expected, and all the stuff I'm reading is out of context because I skipped the repeated text around it.

Just finished Ushio's route. The whole misunderstanding subplot was fairly entertaining to say the least, but the middle portion was padded out by too much sex. But I think she'd be the perfect partner for the MC, she's always encouraging him by his side as both a motherly figure and as his girlfriend. No wonder the japs voted her #5 on that 2017 poll.

The overall 'feel' of it is unique and I liked it immediately and it carried through the whole time.

Not to be funny but does Dies Irae actually fall off? I think I'm going into the final fight of Kasumi's route and all I can think of is how the story has kinda gotten worse and worse with each encounter.
