They were actually asked about this on the Russian dev stream, here's their answer:

I think I need to stop watching youtube videos on this game because they are for sure playing a different version. They're sitting in the middle of the street or blindly pushing through a town without checking corners or slinging rounds in the middle of a field or shit that I would be killed the very second I tried it. Like that odd guy was able to push it straight at the enemy spawn on abandoned factory then get a flank and sit out in the open eating rounds and getting kills. Fuck I've tried that dozens of times and I get blown the fuck out after 1 or 2 kills when everyone looks at me and comes to get me after I fire.

Reload speed is strictly a balance mechanic for manually loaded tanks. Carousel autoloaders have fixed reload speeds (tho long rod apfsds should take over 10 seconds to reload because they can't be placed in the carousel next to each other so the carousel takes longer to cycle) and bustle autoloaders get the middle ground between the minimum possible reload and the longest one.

There's a new bind that resets the radar yaw and tilt. I have it on a separate key combination but in addition to that, you can bind it to a second key combination that is the same as your radar on/off bind so, just like before, turning the radar and off resets it.

'1' to deploy chaff. Mouse 4 to deploy both. The pure chaff button is used at BVR ranges when notching a Fox1/Fox3 where I have plenty of time to enter a notch and just need to drop some chaff to eat the lock. The double button is for those closer range shots where you're doing a last minute notch of a fox1/fox3 but by god you're not going to be that guy that gets bamboozled by a cheeky fox2 that was thrown into the mix. It is regrettably a bit wasteful of chaff in knife fight situations where you need to pre-flare to deny dogfight missile attacks, but those situations are too damn rare and countermeasures are too plentiful for me to be arsed with bothering with a third countermeasure button for pure flares. If the fight has gone on long enough for such a brawl to happen then you're probably close to needing to RTB for resupply anyway.

Since Russia never used the base 77 in any significant capacity, that should happen. The base R-77 can then be reserved for the 13.0 rebalance of the Yak-141 since it saw about as much adoption as that plane back home.

I know some radars have IFF in non-PD SRC and lack it in PDV SRC (F-4J/S/K/M), but off the top of my head, I don't think any radars lack IFF in TWS but have it in PD SRC. TWS isn't even fundamentally different from PD SRC like basic SRC is, it's just PD SRC post-processed over time and presented in a more convenient way.

Even if your missiles aren't ARHs and can't make use of the soft locks, TWS still presents all the same information PD SRC does but adds very handy stuff like velocity vectors to it. There's really no point to ever switch from TWS to PD SRC if your plane has TWS, PD SRC just adds more modes you have to cycle through when you want to go from TWS to, say, PDV TWS or GMTI.

the 5s (50%) longer reload does matter, being twice as tall, with an MG sticking out does matter, having zero solutions to armor does matter

The outer circle denotes the strength of the return. I did for a few matches a while ago but it's just very meh. Yeah, you get a shitton of missiles, but they're just about the worst of the "usable" bunch (about as much range as R-60s but not nearly their pull). I still ended up going 10:0 but it felt like such a struggle, much unlike the effortless fragging I'd get in the MiG-21SMT or the F-8E. I didn't feel confident taking any 1v1s and the few dogfights I took felt like my life could be over the instant the enemy thought to just go up.

Consider that even a bad player can usually spawn 2 tanks and an AA, so 3 vehicles. You killed 5 and assisted in one other, so you essentially only took care of 1.66 bad players on the enemy team.
You'd get the even less reward in AirRB for one plane and one assist.

The Yak-3 Early is just the Yak-3 but at an even lower BR so even more broken. You lose one of the HMGs but who the fuck cares, you still have the cannon and going from 2 HMGs to 1 doesn't make a lick of a difference when they're nose-mounted and you don't really NEED the volume of fire to bring stuff down with well-placed shots (the inaccurate wing-mounted shiddycals of the US planes benefit MUCH more from it since they can be tricky to aim outside the convergence distance). The VK-107 is essentially just a sidegrade to the Yak-3U - AFAIK it's worse at low alt and better at high alt.

Got one, I just have nowhere to put it on my desk. And you still end up at an aim disadvantage against mouse users because flying stick is harder. I've used the sim stick emulator a few times and even managed a kill or two (in actual dogfights, not counting chucking Phoenixes at radar contacts), but that's just the worst of all options. And for some reason I find it's worst on the F-8 series, which is a shame because I absolutely love them.

On January 22, 1968, a VF-53 Navy squadron pilot aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard made a serious oversight. During a routine night exercise in his F-8 Crusader, the pilot was required to ascend to 2,100 feet, simulate a landing without fully touching down, and take off again—a standard touch-and-go drill. Eager to finish quickly, he skipped a crucial step: completing his pre-flight checklist.
As he executed the maneuver, something felt off. The aircraft was sluggish, and its performance was not what he expected. Concerned, he radioed air traffic control (ATC) to report the issue. To his astonishment, the ATC informed him that his F-8’s wings were still folded.
The pilot quickly recalled a previous incident where an F-8 had flown with folded wings. In that case, engineers had emphasized one key rule: never unfold the wings in mid-flight. Doing so could lead to the aircraft losing control and spiraling out of the sky.
Despite the dangerous situation, the F-8 remained surprisingly stable. The pilot carefully managed the situation and successfully returned to the carrier, landing the Crusader without incident. Upon inspection, the only damage was a bent wing fold and a broken wing fault mechanism.

US ship naming schemes are variable and weird. CVNs are named for politicians, except for the CVN-65 USS Enterprise, which is just a long-running traditional name. Submarines used to be after fish, but now it's a mix of places and occasionally politicians (but in fairness, Jimmy Carter was also a naval officer).

Personally I think the Brits tend to have the best names, but also some of the absolute worst.

There is the prototype Type 89 which is about the same as the normal one, but missing thermals, so it could slot in at 8.3 Also a production Type 89 with the missiles removed.
The LAV with Type 87 or Type 96 with Type 79 could fit in that BR bracket too.
Finally there were some megacruisers that were modified with Rus equipment, but that complicates where they would be added.
