I think the funniest and saddest part and big fuck you to all of this is they plop Rhulk out of literal fucking nowhere, casually make him one of the most powerful characters in the game, AND then had the balls to not only make up a new never before heard of Worm God Xita but have Rhulk have a hand in the Hive's making. The Darkness>Worm Gods>Hive hierarchy was already core to the entire Destiny storyline. Shoehorning in Rhulk and the gay Witness into this is one of the biggest mistakes Bungie has mad with the series.

Rhulk and Vow could absolutely be part of Witch Queen without ruining the lore though, he could just be some ancient enemy of the Hive that they never managed to kill but somehow kept trapped. Remove all the "I create the worms" lore though.

I think a larger part of it was that the game series always rode on marketing and sounding better than it really was spinning the hybrid genre marriage as this ultimate thing but there was firm limitations as to what Destiny could physically be and that's why there never was any huge leaps in "innovation in Destiny". This lead it to being infinitely more disposable and treated as such, gotta remember we were supposed blow through like 4 sequels or whatever it was originally planned as , and that's when this game was conceived well before live service fuckery really got more annoying. That's another side of it, Bungie lucked out releasing Destiny 1 when they did because it was a time when audiences didn't really see videogames in the same over analyzed manner they do now, and it could get a lot more marks to truly believe that this game was going to be this all in one, do all be all game. Nobody can "kill Destiny" or be a new Destiny because if you are a company in 2025 doing even half of the bullshit scams Bungie pulled with this series, you would be ran out of town and absolutely broke in the process. Bungie took unprecedented time to get the game to a better spot burning a lot of time,money and good will in the process.

Makes me think of the cause of them scrapping Raid specific ornament sets. The population barely ran prestige raid lairs(because they were utterly pointless especially with Armor changes happening in Year 2) and people were just supposed to tolerate there was no added cosmetic incentive to run shit later on. Hell even Comp reworks, was supposed to get an ornament set and they obviously covered up any mention of that after the fact

And yeah big emphasis on spawn control and just remembering the layouts of certain places and various spots because a lot of bad can be mitigated when you just know where to physically go and lay out eneies. People think Psi Ops Cosmodrome end boss arena is impossible but you can "reset" things by walking the outer perimeter of the back stage and little corners dropping aggro off the boss forcing him to retreat the areas flip after Savathun rounds with what spawn point gets more shit/more wizards, and other little things. It's autistic yes, but I think people do try to emulate those big balls builds but miss exactly how to pull it off. Also sometimes it's just a lot of almost dying dumb ass luck, see the Chinese guy who did the shit with Solo Master Vesper on Hunter with running Bastion weirdly and getting the benefit of the hits improve your melee, melee improves you hits element of the exotic. There's a lot of APM shit that can be technical with just packing in stuff.

my guess would be because saltagreppo was the loudest voice and biggest proponent of overall ability nerfs before it happened. cant really countersignal one of best players in the game especially when every content creator has legions of retards who will flame each other in the comments. all for him to walk it back after all the mid tier shit got absolutely gutted and all the busted shit remained, then they dropped prismatic which powercreeps everything

I've met one on LFG, joined a Piss-Ops Moon group where a Titan was insistent he could block Sav's shots with stronghold. Yes, he could block shots, but he did not understand aggro control so he died a couple times. At least the other warlock was competent so we got through it. No. You want support on titan you run precious scars, and either a void build with lots of overshield and breaches, or you run solar titan with precious scars, the healing rifle, and a heal nade.

If your support build in this game requires actice coordination its probably going to fail, if its on aoutmatic usage(see things like hunters new void perk, or solar warlock) itll probably succeed.

Fucks sake. stronghold tanking isnt very useful because you arent doing much damage. Glaive shield+void barricade/lorelei is as tanky for not as much of a duration but you can actually shoot enemies during it. Only time Ive seen stronghold tanking be truly useful is babysitting for master crota.

I used it to do regular Onslaught Salvation faster (no point in doint Expert beyond some triumphs). It did very stupid spawnkills for entire enemy waves after Bungo reworked its hidden poison explosion effect and made it an actual part of the kit.

Oh yeah they were just making all sorts of shit up. What annoyed me is the visual for Recoil Direction finally got added in game in Shitfall, and then they changed up everything with "Deterministic Recoil" that can make the number system most had a clue on be a total mixed bag depending on weapon. The fact you can have "good numbers" and the weapon still pulls to a weird angle or resets and goes another with pulses can just be such aids. I fucking hate that Mercules retard because people suck him off as some brain but he's trying to approach this game like it even has a semblance of normalcy of other shooters with a concept of physical bullet velocity and the tweaks just don't compute right. I think Chris Proctor gone sums it well when it was him who said "Adaptive 900 smgs dont have a place or enough to be different that's why we removed them" to bringing them back and they're still pointless

I've been build crafting a lot with Threadlings on Warlock and I still can't decide what works the best

As a fag who plays multiple live service games, this simply does not work for people. It's fucking weird but think about Bolt Charge, it's incredibly strong. It was the favourite raid of the speed runner community because you can basically skip all encounters some way or the other but it also had an extremely tedious exotic quest tied to it that some speed runners made into a hobby getting other players through it.
Some do it for noble reasons others more autistic reasons like clear numbers so it ended up akin to a group of carnies running the raid like a circus.
You are just along for the ride to either farm karma or some other strange abstract goal that bears no weight on the rest of the game.
You see them occasionally branch out into other raids like solo clearing Deep Stone Crypt but I think the closest to Garden of Salvation currently is Root of Nightmares but its mainly free stuff.

Rework entire enemy roster AI and attacks to give them actual depth. Thrall should prefer to run at you in packs rather than beeline it straight for you for example, and enemy projectiles especially tracking ones should be slowed down a bit so that side stepping is a more viable means of avoiding damage. Enemies should also deal more damage because of this but it should reward you for paying attention rather than just using whatever current OP facetank build lets you mitigate all threat. I enjoy playing a Threadling build on Strand Titan. While you don’t generate as many Threadlings as on Warlock, Titan offers excellent healing with Banner of War. I think the only threadling related thing I actually liked was running the scams with Threaded Specter Sixth Coyote on Strand and Prismatic for PVP (which basically doesn't really exist anymore cause you can't be a cheap fucker with things), and the one DPS build with Euphony which is situational and just alright. Other than that I feel like Threadlings and a lot of elements of Strand are a little lacking for that kind of playstyle. I know there's some beyond the scenes murmurs there was supposed to be a big spider summonable originally, but yeah it felt like Bungie just either got rushed and conceptually didn't know how to make things more than just you send out little guys, but it doesn't really matter because you have weapons and other shit to finish things off. I think it ties back to what other anons had said in past where just because the game has hybrid elements of RPG doesn't mean the course of battle requires everything to fill a specific role. Offense and self sustaining shit is too important

Yeah there was a guy in our clan who started over not too long ago and while there's a ton of stuff you can outright ignore because it's a shit exotic and Bungie weirdly has gotten better with former outlier combos not being the only thing in existence for certain stuff and a lot of the better shit is still from most of the raids, anything that involves ciphers and spoils is an absolute bitch to deal with and way unnecessary amounts of busy work to jack around with. Idk why the fuck Bungie this late in the game for all the ups and downs they had decide to be so strict on that. Mods and loadouts are also weirdly locked behind the runaround with Guardian Ranks too so that's just a total amount of bullshit

As someone who started playing right before the Final Shape, I can attest to time needed to not only understand the game, but also acquire solid gear. It does give me stuff to do, but I just have to be particular about what guns or loot to chase. I still haven’t finished a raid, so I just put anything related to spoils of conquest on the back burner for now.

I did this for about a week before I decide to just play my main account. It's pretty awful and the only way to salvage it would be bringing back all the old stuff so people could get a REAL full experience but it's impossible to bring back now. No, it just stopped being flavor of the month and people moved onto Area Denial Frames and Fusions. Fusions are simply here because of Particle Reconstruction, and then Rocket Sidearms are still a favorite of peoples, and then Snipers for anti barrier at times as well.

Combined with that it's an Onslaught drop, since the shiny no longer drops / it's not the new hotness, people just for some reason assume everything from there no longer exists so they go else where, usually wherever a streamer/youtuber will tell them to go for.

Adaptive Submachineguns do more bodyshot damage aka impact but have less crit multiplier like lightweights have.
Adaptives are for spraying at a group of enemies not really aiming much just a bullet hose.
Lightweights are for actually hitting crits to trigger killperks and they make you move faster to do it.

Adaptives need to be more synergistic with your build to be viable it's a subtle difference which doesn't really matter much I think they should increase the range a bit on adaptives.

Solo VH (not flawless) took me six hours. The hardest for me was Raneiks, even with ten guys, because I used solar titan up to DPS, swapped to prismatic, and then went monke on him with stasis. I swapped back to solar afterwards and used the back area as a safe zone.

For Atraks, I used weakening GL last season plus grand overture, solar titan with lorely. It was six phases. The most hectic part is the initial start, where you have to blow up the four clones and send Atraks into the basement. Once you're past that, keep moving and take things at a pace you feel comfortable with. The second worst part is panicking when you're surrounded by rad clones. I killed rad-clones where I could because that gave me 45 seconds to do other stuff while they were running back towards me, but if you are confident enough to do stuff faster than them, then just focus on mechanics. When I went up to Atraks in the top, I used the Coward Corner with barricade and utility kickstart. It was a comfy six phases when I did it.

The problem with Raneiks is that it's a creative DPS phase that the engine can't handle. They had to halve the number of servitors he splits into so that Shadowshot wouldn't result in everyone getting error coded out, which also made the special ignition resistance pointless.

How the hell do you see if Vespers Host is farmable? I've rarely run dungeons and idk I guess my collectors brain wants start doing some and I'm curious about that icebreaker. Synthoceps obviously. There's the thin arm ornament and the knight looking ornament which match the knight Vexcalibur ornament perfectly. Plus Synthos give bonus glaive damage when surrounded and on Strand it lets you have both Overshield and Woven Mail so you have a shit load of DR and passive healing. It's insanely strong right now with the glaive mods.

Necrotic Grips. Like any Warlock arm exotic, they are so small and out of the way that you can make your whole outfit easily while ignoring them. Also Slopperism with Necrotic and Synthoceps is my go to and since it's an arm band you can make a whole outfit around it without it interfering. It's really a nice combo since you get the double damage from Synthos on the glaive, and the poison ticking in an aoe around you will kill tons of red bars easily giving you a lot of kills.
>Hunter
Not entirely sure, but Synthoceps on the exotic class item gives you bonus glaive damage, so anything with that would be strong. Plus with the current artifact right now you can go invis easily with the assassin aspect.

I get Bungie's just buying time with Rites of Nine but the weapons from these dungeons still are probably gonna suck donkey dick, yet another reboot to Prophecy shit sums it all up. The only one I used much of was Cold Comfort mostly because there weren't a ton of good rockets at the time rockets were good and 3 in the mag from Envious Ass+origin trait reload, and Wilderflight because at one time was the only double fire and the frame performed very strongly for a bit. Other than that it's mostly dogshit. Bungie didn't cook, you do not need to grind

Make sure you do most of the progression on 1 char don't bounce around chars because you can end up fucking yourself despite how obviously you wanna get the benefit of the pinnacle loot drops and all that shit across your guys. You can do the quest to full without exotic and can have your other 2 chars have Full Access status once you pick up the last paper slip even though your 2 guys have never done the quest in full. Once you get exotic, you can just punch in the code to access the final vault room and you'll get it as normal. But yes bungie are kind of fuckers for having the pathing be able to fuck up over the simplest shit, like they learned nothing when people were fucked on Vesper's which is still doesn't work right for people.

Not at the moment, generally speaking the frame got fucked the hardest by range band and recoil changes because their whole gimmick was they had very low stat scaling but you could beam and shoot fast as shit,and because you didn't get as nearly fucked over by flinch you could just fire through things. 450s(both Battler style and Lightweight) are in very good shape still at the moment. 340/High Impact yes did get nerfed and aren't as strong but they aren't totally worthless. Keep the roll but it's the frame is just alright

Okay but Speaker's is amazing though. Grab ember of benevolence and the heal slut rifle so you can reset all your cooldowns immediately and you constantly have snap, hellion and healing nades and with incandescent and hellion you can actually kill quite a bit with the healslut gun.

I would rather have the first 2 years of D2 than the last 5. It wasn’t perfect but it was a concise quality product with no gay. What we have now is such a disgusting mess of gameplay, story, and art direction.

Bungie wasn't being transparent about how vaulted the vaulted content was. That is a big problem actually.

Having the boss damage counter in Rushdown makes some sense. It is a boss Rushdown. But I think it has utterly corrupted the Court of Blades event, since there no one really does mechanics or add clear and that's a problem. They only want big number. Some builds (Dawn Chorus with Dawnblade and 1k) let you get away with it on normal since scorch is weird on bosses. But the event can become annoying sometimes.

My issue with Rushdown is that I got sent from fresh into a scuffed 1 revive 2 minutes left boss fight too many times. It was annoying. It wasn't a good use of anyone's time. I thought they learned this shouldn't happen from their experience in the Coil.

Sorta related, but I wasn't into how Bungie ass pulled a proto-Worm God species and then with some of the Ahsa Deep stuff tried to nod to them having some sort of relation to the Fundament Leviathan-Bungie trying to make Leviathans more of a thing. It also starts to contradict established Rhulk shit(which that bit of the lore is a little messy) and the whole deal of how Worm Gods came to be, things trying to outrun the witness or be subjugated by it. It's got no team support out of invis which is only useful really for GMs. They decided it being the DPS class was not a good idea and gutted the one build that everyone wanted on the team. They are basically regulated to being the PVP class.
