So unless it's running on secret cow dung mix or ion engines from future we don't know of, it can't do 200 miles or isn't same size

I can hit things with it just fine with it off anon, but it sure is helpful spotting dots 20km out on a 4k screen, and if its working I'm going to use it for shot placement and lead indication too

This. R-73s are only balanced by their relatively poor range, which these would fix by a landslide at the cost of absolutely nothing. If they are to be added, they MUST be given bad IRCCM (worse than R-73/Magic 2, maybe even worse than the R-27ET) so there's at least SOME counterplay besides never ever getting into their range. Radar missiles, nutty as they might get, will at least always be notchable.

There should never be a dog fight or even two hostile planes within 20km of each other unless every country is underestimating their stealth abilities and overestimating their radar.

Even against the F-15C/E and Su-27SM/30SM you're only outmatched in quantity rather than quality. Because amerimutts had a brilliant idea of creating magic "it does everything" jet that replaces everything from jet fighters like f-16,f-18 to specialized combat aircraft like Harrier and a-10. The only thing f-35 doesn't try to replace transport aircraft like C-130 yet. The problem with f-35 is that it sucks at everything and literally any other jet would out preform it at anything. WarThunder? Only arcade mode. You put the targeting cursor where on the targeted ship that you want your shells to fall, based it it and your current heading and speed, and the game figures out all the lead for you.
Of course its completely ruined by changing your speed and or heading, so now its even easier to be an invulnerable demigod in light cruisers just by zooming about at max speed and never sailing straight. All their shots miss, because they haven't figured out how to correctly lead with the new system yet to account for a maneuvering target.

Again, it's a matter of securing it. I'd imagine you could drive the missile inside the storage box that comes with it, then open the top of the box and load it once it's roughly under the pylon. And some missiles like the R-73 only weight a hundred or so kilos, a few guys can easily haul it.

Odd generalization from my part but despite everything it seems Fulda brings something out of people. After thousands of hours on Ground RB you kind of get a sense and a routine for how any map plays out at any BR but 70% of the time something odd happens it happens on Fulda. I wish I got it more often.

imo it's probably because fulda, especially the big one, is one of the few rare maps where you still have long sightlines and open fiels, if you dont rush the middle/castle like a tard.

it'll never happen, RTS is dead, and unfortunately WiC undersold so it didn't justify its massive budget even at a time when RTS was still a thing, such a big budget RTS game will never happen again (unless the genre somehow gets a huge revival in the next 10 years) but even with such a revival, a cinematic singleplayer focused bombastic type RTS ala WiC or endwar? we're getting a bit too off topic now but if u want online RTT with vehicles those games are good, if u want oldschool fast paced RTS, age of empires 2 is thriving, theres so much DLC with added campaigns, that game has like 200-300+ hours of singleplayer content ALONE, and the multiplayer is huge, daily 20k players on steamdb on the definitive edition, so don't forget about age 2 if u want a oldschool rts experience these days

if you're looking for an SPAA for your lineup the TPK is a better choice.
TPK trades the anti-tank capacity of the DCA for more effective anti-air. better volume of fire with faster velocity rounds.
AMX-10P trades some of that volume of fire and maximum elevation for better penetrating shells and armor protection. It's an IFV after all, and you should treat it as something like a scout vehicle instead of a pure SPAA.

It depends on the situation and it's criminal that we don't have the option to toggle between them mid match.

Manual cuing works best at long and medium ranges when you want to specifically target certain radar returns amidst the absolute fucking clusterfuck that is 16 planes and their thousand missiles. Cyclic switching works better at close range just beyond visual range where you're fishing for what's probably one individual guy who's nametag hasn't quite rendered yet. Cyclic is also better for 1v1 duels you only have the one opponent to look for.

It works GREAT for that in fuckhuge sim maps where enemy density is fairly low and everyone gets spread out because people gradually die and respawn. Cyclic is weaker in air RB where there's a clusterfuck of a billion fucking contacts coming at you between the blob of enemies and their own missile spam. Then it's a mess of cycling between the enemy missiles and the planes that are close to notch angle when you really just want to target the ONE guy who's coming at you hot.

In a perfect world we'd have a toggle button.

radar waves can be reflected and your RWR has no way of telling them apart from "direct" waves
radar emitters aren't perfect either, look up what radar emision sidelobes are so you can have an idea. A radar emitter doesn't necessarily have to be pointing straight at you for you to be able to be hit by the radar waves
a bit exaggerated metaphor but the idea is similar, you can listen to the sound coming from a speaker despite not necessarily being in its emission cone aka in front of it

Energy density definitely not. Power density maybe. It's presumably replacing the turbo-pump with an electric pump, and those turbo-pumps aren't that efficient in the first place, and they're bulky and heavy in order to handle the heat. Electric pumps can be smaller and lighter.
