Ranged dps are some of the biggest retards you can find in this game, they're so used to not having to deal with mechanics that 90% of them just afk turret their rotation at the boss, very often they don't even switch targets even though it's literally no effort for them
The other 10% of ranged dps are actually good and are probably being recruited into mythic raiding guilds and doing high end keys for having the rare gift of being a sentient human capable of handling basic mechanics

I fucking hate most ranged dps, lazy, brainless niggers, the good ones are cool

Most "mechanics" are aimed at rangeds.
That's why holy paladins and mistweavers fuck you up, because they are considered melee.
All melees deal with is swirlies and frontals and such, which rangeds have to deal with as well, except they have to cast shit (except BMtards).
Clear example is the first boss of Boralus - when ever have you been targeted by him as melee unless everyone was melee?
I suggest you play ranged at least once so you see the shit you have to deal with and then come back.

Ele is pretty good for soloing bosses - it's fragile but it has good mobility (in bursts) so you can kite, you have lust, decent damage, earth elemental has a huge hp pool, decent cc etc. Doing delves on a ret/prot was significantly more difficult than on ele shaman at same ilvl.

He is employed by Echo. The longer the race goes on, the more he gets paid to cast. I also believe that if Echo wins, the casters get some kind of bonus in addition to the players. I believe the entire org as a whole benefits from a win, anyways. So yeah, a short race + a loss means he made significantly less than he was counting on. That's literally it.

This mythic raid is fine. If anything maybe slightly overtuned on some of the earlier bosses, but Gallywix is perfectly fine.
The mechanics and the fight is fun and cool. What they are complaining about is that its not punishing enough which is outright retarded.

Mythic raiding should be, first and formost, a fun thing to do -- because it is a fucking videogame. And it should be slightly challenging but thats about it. Maxipad going ''But muh blazes number on mythic is just like on heroic" is so fucking retarded

They had that whole storyline of gay and disabled Centaurs and their interpersonal dramas take up an entire zone storyline focus and completely ignore one of the main DRAGON FLIGHTS of the Dragonflight expansion. A dragon flight that particularly decided to bring their former aspect back from the dead for because of how important shit was going to turn out to be.
But they blew all that off until the last patch, because the Emerald Dream would usually be where these Dragons generally have the most focus... Except they still get shafted even there for majority of it, so bringing Ysera back altogether was pointless!

So yeah. The writers just kind of ignored their expansions plot just to throw the Centaur bullshit in. Because representation was apparently needed.
So lets just retcon- No sorry, 'build on' the lore of these creatures formerly seen as disgusting and mentally damaged savages that came about because a Demigod fucked a rock. One of them being a tribe leader who is deaf and the most skilled huntress is a good start that totally makes all the sense!

you're doing something wrong then, I played a variety of specs to a fairly high level and even overloaded specs like enh shaman are fine on g502 if you know what you're doing (ie don't put bullshit like food or potions on your mouse, use mouseover macros / clique when playing healer etc)

Like, I get the complaint that she doesn't fit, she is a Disney Princess (I personally like the trope, but I see how others might be against it). But one thing where she objectively correct, is that Forsaken cannot go on as they did before - if they don't want to find themselves fighting a losing war against rest of Azeroth.

What are the most FUN healers? Primarily for M+ pugs. I always play Mistweaver and last season I dabbled in Shaman which was comfy and overpowered, and Preservation which was okay but just made me wish I was playing Shaman instead. I tried Druid but needing to spend 5 GCDs before any healing happens was too cringe in pugs.

Paladins are fun, but are probably doing the worst out of all the healers right now. They are still playable though. Instant casts, combo point system, sword and board melee healer. Some don't like that play style, but I enjoyed it.
Disc are pretty fun too, and are in a better position than Paladins. Seems like their play style was slightly simplified this patch as well. With the removal of Rapture, the pet having a strict 30 second cooldown, and ultimate penitence now being usable. No better time than to reroll disc.

As a zoomer new friend back when i started in BFA, it's the current leveling that is lame as fuck. I think a significant majority only has one character on xiv, with DC travel and all specs on one character. Only the really sweaty groups require an alt and if you make some ERP alt you don't level it to cap (...presumably?)

When anyone who isn't a complete addict that's played this game for 20 years touches it, it becomes painfully obvious that it's just a severely outdated game that's incredible close to being broken, but barely gets by.
The people developing this shit have 0 vision and not remotely enough competence to forge forward and create something interesting and groundbreaking again.

2020-2021 really finished off Blizzard, but the rot was evident and progressing years before that. By the mid 2010s, the company was basically a shadow of its former self already.
I honestly wonder how much longer they can keep this up for. Subs are obviously steadily going down with each expansion and their newer metrics these days mostly focus on revenue and capturing their whale audience, but I'm sure that's dwindling, too.

There's no way a tool like Hazzikostas is the most talented guy you have helming your most popular franchise. There was a figure a while back that said something like 30% of the Blizzard workforce are trannies, this was years ago and I can only imagine this being worse now. A fucking woman runs the production pipeline of the company. A fucking woman is CEO of the company now.

I come in peace but truly, if I was a WoWfag, I'd be feeling pretty dejected. I hope this IP falls into better hands one day. It does not deserve to rot into obscurity.

if you're looking for gear: do quests that give you keys, then do delves at appropriate difficulty level. once that's done it's time for lfr, then m+
if you're not looking for optimal gearing: you still want to get the keys (weekly lockout) so you'll be able to get welfare gibs eventually, but there's no reason to really rush anything outside of maybe one delve that gives good ilvl weekly gambling slot, then do whatever the fuck you enjoy

Delves are easy to bang out solo for champion/hero gear
It's not the main, there are different avenues for gearing now, including crafting.
Also worth looking into siren isle and grab the ring from there. You can upgrade it to 658 ilvl which will last you a good while
