While Teldrassil looks like a stump in World of Warcraft, this is due to engine limitations. Artwork such as The Comic and concept art for the Warcraft film, as well as the tree's appearance after the Burning of Teldrassil, show that it's canonically a whole tree. Chris Metzen wanted this to be reflected in the zone in classic World of Warcraft, but the developers were unable to make a gigantic 3-dimensional tree work with the technology at the time due to the game engine being based completely off height-mapping, which heavily limits terrain possibilities. This led to the zone's in-game state, which is essentially a flat area located atop a huge pillar with branches sticking out of the side. Metzen was greatly disappointed by this; as a compromise, a smaller giant tree was included in the zone.

I wish the game had more shield dps/fighters.
Like IMO rogue or monk should get a melee shield spec.
Disc preist should be able to use a 1h/shield for Cleric larp

More broadly I wanna see 3rd weapon slots come back.
Like I want most classes to carry like:
DW+SHield
1h/2h/shield
Staff/Sword/Wand
1h/shield/gun
and combos like that.

Class weapon design has gotten terribly boring.
In particular we need more classes that use ranged weapons so ranged weapons get more attention most of them SUCK design wise.
and more classes need to be able to carry a shield

I don't keep much gold in the warbank. We already had random guild banks get deleted, currencies vanish when being transferred and other things happen that they couldn't fix of revert. Feels like every other reset day warband transfers are disabled due to some recurring bugs. Anything I consider important important stays on a character or in their personal bank.

Pally is the quintessential white boomer dad class. It's just a solid class overall. Good damage, can tank and heal, some really great looking tier sets, cool spell and sound effects, tons of utility in any content from questing to pve and pvp, DPS spec is easy to pick up and play without memorizing some autistic rotation that changes wildly between patches. Not surprising that when it's strong it's vastly more popular than other specs.

Not even him but durotan was never regarded as a particular great warrior. He was young, inexperienced and surround on all sides by better fighters. Like Orgrim Doomhammer was a far greater fighter. Blackhand, basically any other chieftan was. Durotans renown came from doing the right thing, caring for his people and standing up to assholes. He was a Good Orc, he was not yet a great warrior when he was killed.

Malfurion’s eyes did not leave Saurfang’s. “A duel, Saurfang?” he asked in a soft voice—soft like the eye of a storm, like the freshly dug soil of a grave. The archdruid stepped forward calmly to where Saurfang waited. “Do you think I care in the slightest for a duel?”

“You can run, if you’re afraid,” Saurfang said. He was buying time. That was all. The only victory Saurfang could hope for was for the latest Horde troop movements to be delivered to Sylvanas’s hands so the battle might continue. “Or fight me, and see if I will fall.”

Malfurion said nothing. He raised his arms. The inn trembled. The wooden floor and ceiling creaked and groaned.

Saurfang’s lips pulled back into a snarl. The power of nature was not found in the swing of a fist or the slice of a blade. It was found when a forest was rent to dust by fire and yet returned in only a few years. It was found when a mighty city was claimed by overgrowth after being abandoned for a decade. It was found in a thousand generations of predator and prey, which lived and hunted by the instincts of their ancestors.

In the hands of a druid, that power could be condensed from centuries into a minute. In Malfurion’s hands . . .

This inn, and everything in it, would be returned to the earth in seconds.

You run a normal raid and the trash is a joke you aoe down and most boss mechanics feel like they barely do 10% of your healthbar meanwhile m0 is the complete opposite despite the fact they actually give slightly worse rewards overall than normal raids.

Fucking Zepla of all people started playing WoW again because of the state of your shit expansion. And the story of Dawntrail is the least of its problems. OGs gameplay loop was nearing the end of its lifespan even back in Shadowbringers but the finale of the story kept people engaged.

The devs have no idea what to do with the gameplay. Every single job plays the same. There's no variation or decisions for gameplay or job customization. There are numerous worthless stats, gearing is streamlined and has nothing to it

In M0+ the trash is part of the encounter.

The game was on sale until like 4 days ago, so probably at least a couple months until the next one. First sale was in january though, so who knows.
I'm pretty sure that only the biggest edition comes with a sub. Base edition 100% doesn't have one. The comparison on the shop page should have that info though.

My fantasy for a new spec would be a Commander type role that naturally falls to the raid leader. Give them abilities like marking priority adds to take more damage, briefly buffing the whole raid with massive avoidance to survive, a metamorphosis like ability to briefly turn into an emergency tank. When a timewalking event is active you can get from 10-70 in a few hours and 70-80 in a few more, the next .5 patch gives a pretty beefy exp buff but I don't know where/how you get it. Also heirlooms don't give a boost anymore
