I'm hooked on this game. It's a free to play phone game. It's based on the original computer roleplaying game: Wizardry. I' a big fan of the series, specifically the Japanese branch of Wizardry games. There have been a few standouts in the series. Wizardry V Heart of the Maelstrom for SNES and Wizardry Tales of the Forsaken Land for PS2 were my previous favorite entries in the series.
This one is a great entry. But I will admit the game is poorly optimized and buggy and pay to win gacha bullshit, so it's a flawed gem.
Without spoiling too much, it's got a lot of hidden depth. You delve deep into the abyss dungeon and eventually confront the greater warped one who kidnapped the king. But this is actually a false ending that immediately brings you into a sort of new game plus where you gain time travel powers and you can then begin manipulating events in the original timeline.
