I just find it weird they basically chose this patch to start pushing pairings. Before it was only like 2 pairings hinted and the rest being nodded and potentials. This patch just started confirming them, which is fine, just abrupt.

You’ll need to reroll the elemental core to toxic. Give it a try since you don’t need a single catalyst on Serena to make it work. That said, it’s strange that you haven’t gotten any of her parts, as I obtained all of them before finishing the quest. The real grind is farming the common material she requires, but even that doesn’t take too much time.

11m is what i can do with my afterglow sword too, but the new sniper has the fun passive skill that if you hold aim to charge the thing it does 260% of the initial damage as extra

Game was unironically better during the crossplay beta
No cores, no Ines, no outposts, endgame was strugglebussing through spec ops to beat the final wave with level 35 gear, and the only thing dropping colossi in <10 seconds were the hackers.

All before a couple retards on the dev team nerfed half the characters while buffing Bunny into the stratosphere, and scrapped half the spec ops in the game to make room for the outpost-void shard -void reactor grind.

I have put 5 catalysts in it and honestly its a poor man's restored relic.
It doesn't require as much ammo nor is it dependent on external buffs so you can use it on any descendant but the "aoe" effect is meh and it's more of a single target gun that cleaves low hp mobs that stand close to your target.
It's not bad but still outclassed by albion cavalry gun, in my opinion.

Endgame is way too easy - you oneshot hardest bosses and devs keep listening to retards that ask to never nerf anything, which was okay at the start of the game when the best we had was rocket launcher spam Gley or Lepic both of which could kill bosses in under a minute and back then it was impressive.
Now if you look at leaderboard you can see Sharen or Serena doing 1-2 second kills on new boss. Serena also trivialized stage 30 VE since you can do it solo in under 3 minutes now compared to before you had to get a 4 man squad to be able to do 3-4 minute runs.

I've been saying this since the season one update - this game needs some kind of system like dungeon+ from World of Warcraft or greater rifts from Diablo 3. Where difficulty is scaled to match the insane fucking power that we've gotten since the start of the game.

It took me a while to see this:
Each tune only works one at a time. Even when you trigger enhanced ones, like the critical skill rate or the -cooldown, the moment you trigger another buff, it cancels the preciows one, unless you have the soundbox.
Her buffs also get cancelled if you switch to another firearm.
Same applies to her aggressive augment, it buffs allies guns, but Luna can't buff her own firearms because the moment she pulls them out, her buffs end.

Yeah if you want to kill stuff with Luna you use Noise Surge and the AOE does damage instead of buffing, that's your damage source for mobbing.
If you want to support other players who do more damage than Luna anyway you use the buffslut build and then IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU SHOOT ANYTHING OR NOT, so ammo is irrelevant.

There are no better sci-fi looter-shooter grindans out there and I'm sticking with TFD and hoping devs either implement of the better ideas community has or come up with their own.
Personally I'm gonna wait until next Q&A and suggest they add endless missions, something like warframe had where mobs would grow to thousand+ levels and IMO some system like that in TFD would satisfy autists that want hard content where their OP builds would be just enough to complete it. And at the same time, casuals could get all the same rewards, but at a lower difficulty and speed.
Imagine you completed 400% dungeon - now you choose to start it at 500%, where you get a lil bit more rewards and tougher mobs and as long as you're able to complete it - you can increase the difficulty even further.

Or to solve oneshotting colossi - how about a boss rush with multiple colossi, where you can fight two at the same time? You get to open multiple amps at once but it would be almost impossible to bring those low hp oneshot builds. Idk I think there are a lot of ways of fixing the easy as fuck endgame without ever nerfing any gun or descendant. I want this game to succeed but I think devs are not thinking outside of the box.

The only shittuber that got butthurt over VE difficulty nerf was Sen and that was because he thought devs were going to make it easy for groups, but nerf was only for solo difficulty.

People liked VE because it was actually fun thanks to the difficulty and you had to come up with different team setups and builds and test what works/what doesn't. It was fun competing on the leaderboard but literally nobody in top 10 tried to hide their builds.

honestly amps should be removed entirely and it should just drop the blue prints that were there at the end of the dungeon depending on what set you selected. replace opening amps with each intercept having a chance to drop special weapon blueprints and higher odds of things like catas and activator blue prints dropping from intecepts.

grinding serena and the new guns made me realize how much better not having to deal with amps is in every way.

That said. No it wont kill the game. as much as I hate comparing the two. WF did just that for over a decade and it's still going. WF has tons of gimmicks for handling mobs, from stealth gameplay, to parrys, to finishers to crowd control, to stage alarms to being able to knock back a mob with a air slider kick and apply a ground finisher. All still there, buried under years of aoe nuking and a cascade of damage multipliers from new gimmicks. Unfortunatly, players will be players, they'll brag about their copy pasted builds and whyne when they get nerfed.

faggots complaining about oneshots when you could be playing Warframe and having the same issue but now the bosses have four immunity phases because the devs don't want you to oneshot. Instead of waiting 2s for the boss to die, you have to wait 10s. That shit is more tedious to be then the oneshots in TFD. I personally saw the same happen with Path of Exile; the game started really slow, way slower than D2 but kept speeding up for multiple years and then the content ended up being designed around being able to blow up everything the next screen over while running at the speed of light and since people got used to it any attempts at slowing down the game caused massive outrage despite consistent complaints about the game being too easy
I'm pretty sure if you dropped a modern PoE player into closed beta or even the first league set they would die from a lack of excitement
anyway my point is that as one-tap speed retardation is generally considered to be bad/boring game design TFD is getting flak for it because it is a fresh game that people aren't yet attached to emotionally so there is no reason to defend it

Ines is the best descendant in the game right now
Basically, if you're going to efficiency, you want to focus on Ines, Bunny, Freyna. They're the top 3 descendants in the game. Also, the new descendant Serena is super good right now because new descendants are always god tier to encourage people to buy them. If you're starting from scratch, I suggest focusing on Ines and Farm for Ultimate Sharen. Sharen will help you get the other ultimates quickly because she can go invisible, and you need to complete recon missions for some of the descendant parts while not getting detected to get the ultimate part. Then you also want to get Enzo because Enzo has a special ability for encrypted vaults, which drop the mats you need for your ultimate descendant.

Well you see, the 4th has a different effect depending on whether you are on the ground or in the air.

If you are on the ground, it gives you... oh hey, it's 12% per tick now. Right, so 12% Hp and MP. But instead of a duration, it only ticks when you are hit. And only up to five times. And the stacks only last 5 seconds, so to get the full amount you need to get smacked 5 times in 5 seconds. Oh, also, 90% damage reduction on the first hit, 72% on the second etc down to 18%. In other words, it could potentially heal you a full 60% per second (as opposed to even old beta Jayber who could only manage 6% per second)... or literally nothing at all because the enemies decide to derp out and do nothing.

Meanwhile, if you are in the air, you get to do 4x damage and end most anything in one shot. And also your bullets explode.

During the story, we should be playing each descendant in their POV. For example, imagine if we fight Dia as Gley and have a raid group with four other descendants.

Maybe I just love WoW and the MMO experience, but having the boss fights in the actual map is better than having these separate instances.

Imagine once a week everyone in the game gets an alert, World Boss in Kingston, and there is a giant timer on the screen.

What they really need to do is get rid of the Playstation 4 and Series S ports. Those old ass console not being able to run shit is killing the game. They removed cloth physics for Gley's skirt, which they showed off because PS4 can't handle 15 players in Albion with physics enabled.

As someone who has put 10 catas into Keelan, I'd say he has a very solid argument for worst character in the game, even with the new cooldowns possible via arche tuning.

I used to scoff at the Bunnies who complained about the tracking in the game, but then I vooped through a boss just prior to his attack only to get shot in the back, as the boss 180s faster than I can using the quick turn button. And the no i-frames except for laser grids means I can't voop through just after. And in either case, I end up at point blank range with no means to dodge.

And that's just one of the problems he has with his best ability.

Fucking hell, it's like

when i played aion there was pvp gear with +pvp damage/defense on it, it was hands down the most powerful gear to kill people with and came with raid equivalent stats. the enemy faction had no access due to gold medals. gold medals dropped from forts. my legion controlled all the forts, the rest of our faction had access to silver medals which let them collect lower tier trash pvp gear that could in no way stand against my general ranked gear. i would bat down entire groups in the abyss as an assassin. the tank class could not out-agro my massive woven attacks that required precision timing. it remained like this for the entirety launch to the expansion, until the midway patch they finally allowed the enemy faction to transfer to our server from servers where they were the ones who had a dominance, and we finally saw competition for the first time in three years. by that time my dominance was so severe entire enemy teams would AFK in the battleground known as dredgion if they saw me on the enemy team because i could not only solo the PvE objectives, win the game, i could also train all the PvE mobs onto them, drain their points, take their objectives, and singlehandedly wipe them out every single team. that was if i wasn't already in a premade which usually led to them leaving the match immediately and giving us an auto win. i was basically a raid boss. the most overwhelming powetrippy invisible asshole rogue 5 second permastun 100 to 0 class in the game and i two shot people most of the time.

Just finished the story, and while short, I have to really give props to the mocap actors. Serena's animations in particular and some of the character interactions felt very fluid and even natural. It looks so much better compared to how robotic characters move even in some western AAA games where they just flail their hands to convey emotion. Gley curling up like some autistic womanchild was also funny to see.

I agree. Imo this is the best update they’ve done. Serena is a game changer for me, I’ve got really good components and a god tier reactor so I can fly for pretty much forever, and I will never get tired of zooming around and dive bombing vulgus. Huge W for gameplay. Also the new missions are a lot better than say invasions. They’re finally figuring out how to randomize each run enough to make it feel different instead of running the exact same thing over and over.

I was dooming a bit during episode 1, but now I’m hopeful.

The story could have had more build because gley suddenly acting all bitchy especially towards ajax was kinda uncalled for but all in all yeah I was really paying attention to it for once. No way man, ascension set is where it’s at. Double hp + no regen on aux power, gold max mp / mp recovery on sensor, gold mp recovery modifier on memory, gold max shield / tox resist on processor (processor always sucks)

They all roll with a base 484 max hp and her gun damage is buffed from her health, so on my bossing build I have 30k hp and on my regular gun build I’m at 25k, the dive bombing build is at 16k. All using that set.

You could get more power output by forgoing set bonuses and just getting as much hp as possible but the reload perk on the ascension set is crucial for most things.

You don’t need duration, you can get 100% uptime on her 4 with multitalented, her 3 (air dash) is dimension and that activates a massive cooldown buff so then you can constantly have her gun doing aoe damage to everything on screen. Albion Calvary is very good, but I need to build mine more still, I’ve been rocking ancient knight and last dagger and voltia. But the new fire beam and malevolent and both great too. She’s in a great spot for experimentation. Restored relic also obviously, but ammo can be annoying even with the reload perk and her 1 buff.
