That's the thing that all the retards that pushed for this don't get - why it works in OG and won't work in WoW. In OG people wanna dress up and hang out, especially in emersion breaking settings like night clubs and maid cafes, and there are a lot of people that want to do that. In WoW barely anyone want to hang out in any fashion, besides RPers and people that are already friends irl. And as the footage shows blizzard will not attract a new audience with this, because it's all just the same old furniture.

Can they make it more functional than OG? Maybe. Is anyone going to care, besides people from OG that will try to pressure their devs to change shit up? Absolutely fucking not. Corruptions were cool because it was one of the first enchants that provided a kiss/curse attribute. You could crank corruption up so long as you were willing to deal with the circle mechanic/slow/thing from beyond. As a game mechanic it's a really neat design and that season saved BFA from being remembered as that shitty expansion where you farmed azerite.

Can I be honest? I really don't like how flying is baseline as of dragonflight, I liked it a lot more when being able to fly was something you had to work towards over the course of the expansion.

The zones don't feel nearly as alive now since you're just going to be zooming over them at 600% speed.

I usually stick to Steady Flight unless I feel like NYOOMIN'.
Sometimes I take the Flight Path on purpose, sometimes it's nice to just slow down and take in the scenery. Even in old zones!

I wish Argus had something like how Warframe kinda does, with the traveling to planets via ship and shit; A little like how those drills work in the Undermine to get to certain areas. I wish there was more time for sightseeing, similar to the Stormwind gnome tram.

The writing in that game is terribad and the plot comes in at the very last like 10 mins lol.

Yeah back in my day you had to use Darknest for mods...times have changed. I used to have loading screens and all the character models changed. You could make armor more sexualized etc.

I would have one version of the game that I would manually swap in and out, it was very coomer pilled but I was like 12 lol.

honestly, the amount of damage that XIV has done to the MMO space is irreversible. First they ruined professions, then the questing experience and now this all because of that game.

someone should tell Blizzard that no one actually plays XIV. Their "players" only do club RP at most while doing scripted fights that can easily be botted because dynamic fights are impossible due to the the 1000ms delay at all times. Everyone left during Shadowlands to prove a point and that's why almost everyone also returned during the lukewarm dogwater that was DF.
Imagine being Blizzard and allowing yourself to get mindraped by the biggest joke in the MMO space. Take lessons from classic instead, as that game literally has 2- 3 times the population of XIV.

I'm the druid from last thread, I went from like 540 ilvl to 613, ran LFR and won a tier piece and the explosive hearthstone toy.

Think I'm gonna run delves tomorrow and then assess from there. Guess I missed out on abusing tank brann so I guess I'll just do it as balance since I haven't set up bars for bear form and don't have an agi weapon yet. My main weapon is still ass so I was thinking about bumping that up with some valorstones if I don't get a drop, but maybe I just run some heroics before trying M0's.

it would probably be fine if it just did a 30 second cycle with no downtime, but what they've done is essentially buffed it from 1/4 of a trinket to 1/2 a trinket.
my conspiracy theory is that they intentionally polluted the delve trinket pool with bad stuff you get all the time so that you're consistently doing your delves and when you highroll a good trinket you feel good. kinda like the shit they do in POE with 9001 garbage mods when you're crafting an item. Raiding and M+ could be compared to metacrafting in a way, providing you with mitigating factors and alternate paths in a similar manner to esoteric hideout goblin Beastcrafting/Harvest/etc when you're trying to put a good item in your trinket slot instead of a bad one.

death strike should also give you blood shield which scales off your mastery as a way to slow down your damage intake after deathstriking as well as a considerable amount of attack power which can affect most of your defensives
(im not sure what ap scales for death knights but ap affects block/ignore pain values for warriors and celestial brew values for brewmasters and myriad of stuff for the other tanks)

crit also gives you parry chance through riposte

haste may be your priority stat but dont neglect crit, verse and mastery

thats my point. Instead of making the game better for everyone (idk, maybe make pet battles actually relevant and good, or revamp follower missions and make them useful now that you even have follower dungeons), they just pump out more shit nobody will care about 2 weeks in.
