a trve classic+ needs to lean more heavily into the rpg/journey aspect of the game. why do people keep wanting classic in the first place? obviously the world being the main character, the leveling experience, the questing, all that stuff. also to escape the bloat of retail with its million buttons per spec per class and systems bloat - something that aggrend decided classic needed. and to nobodies surprise it was a fucking failure
slow down leveling, add more leveling quests, thematic class quests, make the world even more dangerous (hot take, remove the ability for certain classes to solo shit like mages rounding up 40 mobs and aoe'ing them down with blizzard) and keep the limited action economy of vanilla classes in place, at least during leveling. its fucking retarded and defeats the entire purpose of leveling if a paladin can just run into a pack of mobs, press divine fart and have them all fall over. may as well just sell a level boost at that point
