Can't you kill almost everything in this room without even being detected? For some reason all those pure forms can't see you at all. And there's grenades and equipment everywhere so you can get easy sticks. Once you get to this room it's like the home stretch. This is the easiest and most fun part of the mission. Getting to it is much more tedious, but once you're here you've basically beaten the level since you can just walk it home to the end. Kill everything in this room before you move on, they're all free kills that won't even shoot back ( there might be one or two turret floods but you can kill this easily and there's tons of cover around). Keep a sword on you for the tanks

If the passes are never suppose to expire, why

Problem is that because MCC doesn't have any ongoing monetization at all, it also isn't getting ongoing support and content updates and isn't holding on to as many players.
They could have struck more of a balance with the Blue Team shit, if all of it was included in a $10 battle pass I would probably get it, but the obscene pricing they went with gets a giant Nope from me, which is probably a common sentiment

I guess some kind of explanation is in order. That is the Endless, a new ancient evil revealed near the end of the first Halo Infinite single player campaign titled "Become". You can yeah, fmod soundbanks (what 3, ODST and Reach uses) are fiddly pieces of shit to make though. "Lmao the bank randomly corrupted importing a sound, start again cunt." sort of shit. H4 and 2AMP requires a wwise license (it's free if you're working on a non-commercial thing) but you're way off the edge of the map in terms of support and documentation though.

Mercury Rising II, a campaign mod. It's extremely impressive what the creator was able to get outta such an old engine, pretty sure the ai and pathfinding were majorly improved. The companions in this stuck to me better than marines ever did in the base game. Fruitger Aero Macworld 1999 vibes are cranked to 11, with suprising decent voice acting .

Sorry, bad wording. It's just that it should've been so clear to see that you address the criticism Reach got for abilities, while otherwise launching a new game as rich with features as it did, while looking/sound/feeling like Halo.
Now IF you can also get something like Spartan Ops, Warzone or "open world" done for launch, cool. But if you aren't confident you can do so then just prioritize what people expect and enjoy already.
2 games in a row where Forge takes a backseat to developing big new modes is nonsense, it should be the other way around for release day.

That's because about half of MX/PS users are still using PS4 and Xbone. And the majority of gen 9 MS players are on Series S which is an outdated piece of shit.
Most Tendies did make the switch (heh) but that hardware is even more out if date.
I don't see how Microaoft survives gen 10 if they don't get a head start like they did with the 360. If they launch next to the PS6 they're cooked imo.

I highlighted Forge before but it was just an example of the tested and proven features that should be there for launch. Launch with at least as many features as Reach, but enhanced since it's a new game, then save risky new stuff like SpOps/Warzone/open world, for your updates/DLC. 343 did the reverse for 5 and Infinite, which is nonsense to me.

Secondly why is the Halo 3 Needler bounce so inconsistent? Is there a baked in chance to not bounce depending on the surface or does each surface have its own angle requirement and the needle spread makes things inconsistent? The Spiker is very consistent it either bounces or it doesn't depending on the surface.

It's not the timer buddy. It's the entire mission. The Maw actually had you have to do something that some players could fail even before the warthog run. Halo 3s last mission was just a firefight mission, a shit boss fight and a warthog run that while fun was really the only good part of that mission.
