I try to stay positive, but I too am concerned about the state of the game. This is the best contender for a live service game we've had in while, couldn't have come at a better time with the state of Destiny and Warframe fatigue among their player bases, and they seem to be fumbling the ball at every turn. After watching Outriders and Anthem shit the bed, this one was looking at a contender, but it's like they are squandering every chance they get.

One day, maybe, they'll release an end game mode for more than one player that isn't over after two button presses or holding down a trigger for 5 seconds.

I originally played this on Xbox One so I'm sympathetic to those still stuck on old hardware but it's been obvious for a while that old ass systems from 2013 were really struggling to properly run this game. My performance around S1 Invasions was so bad that I chose to upgrade back then and I'm glad I did. It's a shitty thing sure to shut down a version of the game after only a year on the market but I kinda understand since those versions could barely even run it anyway. These consoles are 12 years old now, it's unrealistic to expect them to still be supported in any meaningful way this late in the their life cycles.

They're doing the first ever nerf soon. No numbers yet. There is butthurt, which is kind of funny since Nexon has said they are trying to nerf the current most OP character to the level of the next strongest character (who is still kind of OP but atleast Freyna can get slowed down by walls atleast).

Most every character that needed a buff got atleast a nominal change, but the real game changer is weapon cores and buffed ammo conversion and launcher radius upgrades means everyone gets to mob or boss kill to atleast an acceptable degree with guns. And when new dog shows up to pick up ammo, it'll be a complete launcher party for everyone involved.
It will be sad that the new VIB will be killed in like 10s day one, but it is what it is I guess.

Guns are good now now but the Core system kinda screwed over Luna. You're either playing Noise Surge and relying 100% on skill damage or playing support and contributing no meaningful damage for your team. Just 1 (puts burning DoT on enemy and shooting one has a chance of refilling ammo) and she has a red mod that turns her 3 which is normally just an air dash into a dive bomb attack. 2 is her flight and 4 is a debuff remover for allies and adds firearm AoE to herself if you cast it in midair. Probably just depends on whether or not you wanna use her modded 3 or her 1 more since having Skill Duration to keep her flight up is the most important

Because buffing guns to be better DPS than any character's skill DPS brings everyone to the same level. Except Luna, I guess. RIP her.

Don't need to spend 6 months buffing every charcter then 6 months buffing them again cuz some weren't buffed enough then oops that character got overbuffed now we need to spend another 6 months buffing every other character again, when you could just buff guns instead.

PS4 bro here, I quit a couple months ago, but the game was pretty lag free while I played. No internet hiccups like other PS4 online games may experience, and no graphic hiccups that happen with other games, so I'm not really sure if there's a reason they dropped support apart from maybe not making as much money from PS4. Being able to play as 3 people (one guy supplies basic skill 1 and ult skill, two guys apply basic skills 2 and 3) sounds actually quite innovative.

I like some of the concepts DNA has but it feels far too soulless. It literally looks like they just slightly edited some Mihoyo assets and put them in a modded Warframe. Like look at this video, it's literally just Enkanomiya from Genshin, one of the dudes is a black Dan Heng color swap, the starter girl is just Amber with a mining helmet, Lynn is just Mesa's moveset on a Clorinde, etc. Even people in the comments remark on how strangely similar things are. They even straight up took the UI and damage number font from HSR and even uses Genshin's terminology for elements (Anemo = Wind, Pyro, Cryo, etc). I know its in the nature for Chinese games to reuse other games assets all the time but this is by far one of the laziest examples of it I've seen.

Right now all it seems they're doing is throwing a couple hundred enemies that are widely spaced out in an attempt to nerf Bunny/Freyna/Ines before moving to the next big wave of enemies.

Blair is my main descendant and as neat as it would be to have him be as busted as Ines, I don't see that happening. Especially with how they're nerfing her soon. I'd thought of a transcendent mod for his ult that could be something like, if an enemy dies from his fire skills, they explode and inflict burn damage on nearby enemies. A sort of chain reaction thing since AoE skills are really the most powerful skills. As for skins, I'd argue he'd probably do okay since I've talked to quite a few people in game (a surprising majority of them being women) that find Blair the most attractive male descendant.

They realized that gameplay is far more important than eye candy, which is why they decided to rename Season 3 to Episode 2. All the female characters updates flopped, while only Keelan's update was a net positive, largely due to the hype surrounding the new multi-way dungeon. The first Freyna to press Q kills the entire room. (Btw Freyna can now run at 1280/1300 sprint speed with three X tier cores on SG, her favorite gun)
The first Bunny to reach the room gets to run infinitely because of MP collector.

They put out the invasions that no one liked because they were time gated to shit and it was a fat gear check and it was solo only, and took from it that they shouldn't try to innovate gameplay. Along with taking the wrong message away from 'no one wants to sit at an outpost for five minutes straight' and 'no one wants to stand in a circle for 2 minutes straight.'
Now every game mode is walk into a room and push two buttons.

You're missing the point and people keep continually missing the point. They could add as many new modes and things to do as they want. The fact of the matter is, if you're in a group and one person is clearing everything before any else even has a moment to engage with the content, it's going to leave a bad taste in players mouths. I'm sorry but that's just the reality of the situation. Sure people can play solo but this isn't a single player game and that shouldn't be the immediate response to anyone who's critical of this type of game design. If you're making a multiplayer game of this type, the basic thing to get right is to make it so players actually feel like they contribute when working as a team. Right now it's essentially a walking sim for everyone who gets left behind.

Those players can go fuck themselves. Players will always, ALWAYS optimize all fun out of a game, that is a fact. The players want their goodies so more often than not they're going to blitz through as many 400% dungeons/special ops/intercepts as fast as they can. And yes, you can just do it solo, the bulk of videos on youtube wouldn't be about how to efficiently do everything solo if there wasn't a clear interest from the majority of the playerbase. New players who never leveled defensive mods or got decent sub modules bitching that the game expected a modicum of thought put towards their builds. If you demand everyone be able to pull their weight they're going to seethe at anyone who might not be.

Trying to conflate cheating with player's favoring efficiency within the confines of the game is disingenuous. There wouldn't be so many videos about the best builds for the game or any game for that matter if players weren't trying to minmax.
And while I personally did feel Ines was too strong and a nerf to Freyna's level should be fine provided it actually drops her power level to that point that wasn't what I was talking about. Otherwise, I believe colossi need to have mandatory rage mechanics to go through, that you can't skip by bursting down the boss in 5 seconds. Yes, I know it will upset the gamble gremlins, but Nexon can solve that problem by just introducing a pay-to-open-AM button for the people who don't want to play the game. Win-win.

Hopefully, when Nexon see their Tormentor getting dropped in <5s day one they'll start to understand.

People complained on release that built bunny was like that, then the devs decided to double down with freyna, triple down with ines, and then quadruple down with cores.
It's not an exaggeration to say you can be out of xp range if you're grouped with an ines with triple sprint cores

That's pointless if they're going to use cheats anyway. In the livestream, the devs had infinite everything, including consumables and currency. They had no idea how annoying it was to farm stuff back in pre-S1, S1, and before 400% was introduced. That's where the bulk of the players left. Cata slotting is required for content starting at Molten Fortress and going forward (You'll get 1-shot without tanky cata stats there too), so people during this first months of the game hit the wall hard and left. Devs thought it was okay because they cheat all slots unlocked, so it took people complaining for a lot of these obnoxious things to change. It's no wonder they assumed old outposts and all the worst parts of this game was fine. They use cheats to test their own content and their internal testers are pure trash (they thought Kaleen was good on launch, but he had to be buffed due to how bad he was).

-Most of the time when you pug, you see one or more Ines; this is indiative of the fact that everyone loves Ines, and not indicative that everyone who actually cared about gameplay has stopped pugging

We've seen how Serena works. She can control height and hover at ground level. Space won't be an issue. VE got nerfed to the ground again and isn't the relevant content anymore. Last Dagger and Restored Relic are definitely top 2 for single target and mob clearing respectively, RR especially once the new good boy comes to keep it topped up.

3rd best is a bit of a toss up, maybe thunder cage or cavalry gun; something that does damage to the adds while still having decent elite damage, like an inbetween of LD and RR. Arguably Voltia because shutting down shields is important sometimes, maybe a stat stick like Blue Beetle or Secret Garden. 3rd best depends on the character, I guess.

What the fuck is this reasoning? I was playing the Agna 400% last night and I had plenty of groups without an Ines. Luna, Valby, Viessa, Blair, Eseimo, etc. Even when I did join group that had 3 Ines' most of the time it was only one leading the way while everyone else played catchup.

All the female skins use 1 of 2 body types. There's one with big hips and small boobs (Gley, Valby's new swimsuit, Viessa's first swimsuit before the fix, etc.) and one with larger boobs (Bunny's swimsuit, Valby's new swimsuit, Viessa's first swimsuit after the fix, etc.). Then there's the two unique cases. The first is Luna's, which is just one of the first two, but unique sized breasts. From what I recall, her's is somewhere in the middle. Hailey's is the other unique case, having her own sizes. I would say all the new girls after a certain point ended up getting slightly unique body types for their skins, but they seemed to have skipped Ines, unless her's is different. I haven't checked.
