Either that or if they really want to keep Otto’s introduction where he saves Hans at the last minute they need to foreshadow that he’s still nearby or that he’s on his way back. They sort of did it in the wedding when the Chamberlain says “they should’ve been here by now” but maybe he could’ve said something like “he only took a short trip that was a day or two at most”
