Like people have already pointed out they shouldnt be applauded for putting back in what was removed, but I can give them a tiny amount of credit for not digging in their heels on removing chests because some companies really are that dumb
Overall I think most people should have expected the backtrack, unlike previous "controversies" like vanguard it was easy for the average player to notice and recognize why removing chests was a bad thing, and the protests against it weren't stained by a few loud spastics babbling about conspiracies and melted computers to turn everyone else away

That skin was never gonna be part of the pass. It's meant to be like Masque of the Black Rose Ezreal was last time, a standalone skin for purchase beyond the ones in the pass.
That's why it actually looks decent compared to the others and has a real recall.

Next season will probably still have that. It'll just be 3 normal skins and the prestige, with 2+prestige going into the paid pass and 1 going up for normal sale.

There was talk about it, but it's obvious the Alistar one was meant to be the free skin and they said it was the free one in the video.
The Alistar one didn't have any unique spell effects on top of being basically a chroma and having no recall. The Rell, Talon and Sion all had no recall, but they had unique spell effects and some small model changes. Same thing happened with Elise as the free skin last pass, though her model had some changes instead of being a pure texture swap.

For 2 months. Every Act is 2 months, 6 Acts to the year. It's definitely still slow, but there should be some slowness to the process so people actually try the champs they buy. Also the 10 Free Chests have the same drop rates as before, so you'll get BE and Champ Shards from them sometimes as well.

I think its probably 2 passes/acts per split I guess. But the passes dont really need to line up with ranked splits.

I think we get a lot more upgrades than we get downgrades. the only real updates I have a problem with are Poppy for the radical personality shift and Taric because his kit just doesnt feel good to play nor does it have "flow". they made him TOO gimmicky to the point that he's just not consistent which isnt fun and not what anyone asked for.

Lulu is a great aggro support if your ADC is bad- but she shines best with your 'classic' marksmen- Ashe, Jinx, Trist and the like. Pix onhit+ardent.

A couple notable Lulu interactions off the top:

The strategy for picking victorious skins is to give it to champs noone actually buys skins for because if people get a nice skin they like for a popular beloved champ for free they are less likely to actually buy one. Thats why only mid-low tier popularity champs get them for the past few years. Anivia, Sona, Sejuani, Blitzcrank etc are not big skin sellers and not highly picked.

how long have you been playing? if you are relatively new, then really, just give it time, play rankeds, norms are good and fun with friends but solo rankeds teach you much more and are overall higher quality
and the biggest difference I can name between silver and emerald is just movement. I honestly dont know how you could be taught that. low elo cses well enough nowadays, they know what champions do, they arent terrible mechanically most of the time. Consistency is important thats something to focus on I guess. but if you look at higher elos you will notice they just move differently. Somehow. If you look at grandmaster and challengers its also different from emerald/diamond

I've been around this general for 10 years on and off, at least 3-4 of those 5 players were probably my account, I just don't really want to be known (also people seem to keep refreshing my op ggs for some reason) so I rotate also I'm not posting in this general much and just lurking atm.
There are 2 people around 30 or below it because they have a spare but are from eune or NA.
Overall there aren't really that many active euw players from EUW, most are hybrids from EUNE. I would say there are probably a lot more EUW players out there though probably lurk or play other games or play alone or too busy.

I get it actually. When I see someone moving differently, if it makes sense written like that, I immediately assume they are smurfs because no one I played against moves in 'that way'. Then I check their profiles and I'm right most of the time.

About consistency, in my case I would go either 5/0 or 0/5 in lane. all it took was recognizing that hey, maybe I shouldn't coinflip on me having better mechanics and outtrading enemy laner lvl 1, when I can wait till lvl 3 and do it more comfortably to go up a division. Now I rarely go 5/0, but I honestly can't remember last time I got stomped on my main role. so idk, try to catch bigger things like that, but it's different for everyone, and yea, just basics probably aren't enough to get out of silver/gold nowadays

where most emerald players are washed up ex-lowmasta players watching youtube on their second monitor, the actual high elo players and smurfs are actually mentally present in their game
mechanics are a non factor in elos above gold, everyone can pilot their champions reliably, it's a matter of knowing when and where to fight that makes the big difference

no no, you can build her as full tank. if you decide to build AD, then imo only sundered and after that go tank anyways. BUT recognize she has crazy base damage, good max hp damage into tanks, and you can kill most champions in lane unless they build tabis+armor with your base damage and one or two lucky stuns alone. what I meant to say is that you should look for those situations, bully enemy laner, and if possible kill them or force them to recall, instead of just being happy with farming like most tanks. At least in emerald and lower, maybe higher up they respect her more.

Anivia is great but she is plagued by an issue that haunts other champions.

Reliance on team to survive to mid game. Anivia doesn't come online until later and is hungry for farm so if your laners/jgs are getting diffed and tilted there might not be a game to salvage.

I noticed but varus was doing ???? He was not attacking bots, he kept rushing into super close range especially in 1v2, brought to near death or death, then teleported back to base to heal. Maybe, but it's heavily late scaled which doesn't make sense since overgrowth is better for scaling.
Unflinching should be the early skewed tank rune and just give all of its resistance from lvl 1 or fully scale within lvl 13.
Still mad the enchanter rune is the both the best scaling and early of the three.

it makes me so validated when the head of balance design has confirmed that seraphine has one of the steepest and highest skill mastery curves in the entire game...

all of you saying shes a "boosted" or "easy to play" champ need to apologize... one of the hardest to play champs in the game in GM mmr against meta... hardest enchanter in the game period and i'm 200lp...

With that out of the way, go with your bot laner to lane. Don't leash. This meta really punishes leashing now. Help you and your laner reach level 2 and, if possible, level 3 faster by good lane pressure. For helping with last hits, you have 3 charges that regenerate until they don't. Use these last hits wisely to take out minions that your bot lane might not get easily or at all - especially a cannon. If you see him freeze a wave, try not to fuck it up. If you are at lane first and he is still on his way and a wave is about to crash, do what you can to freeze the wave for him (and you for obvious reasons). Ward objectives before they are up and make sure chokes are also lit with your street lights.

Get the hang of these basics, then you can worry about roaming correctly.

when the enemy marksman is trying to last-hit minions, attack them right as they're immobile and vulnerable

>How does gold and xp gain for support work?
you passively get 3 gold every 10 seconds but most importantly, you get charges of your support item every 20 seconds, up to 3 stacks
you can either hit an enemy champion, hit tower or hit a minion below a certain hp threshold to consume the stack and get extra gold
when you get 400g from these charges, your support item evolves and gives you the ability to ward, and when you get 800g, your item evolves again and you get to choose one out of 5 items with various passives
exp is a lot more straightforward, you get some of it when a minion or an enemy champion dies near you, or when you get an assist

Problem is threefold:
Firstly she has terrible visual design which pretty much just appeals to coombrained retards. Its basically just a woman in a prom dress (BUT SHE HAS A BIG ASS :O )
Secondly she doesn't really have an apparent class fantasy. She is supposed to be a powerful elementalist but she doesn't look or play like one.
Lastly and most importantly her gameplay is SHIT. The whole gimmick of the champ is that you have an ability that changes based on the terrain near you which sounds interesting in concept but in practice just restricts you from actually doing what you want. Oh you want to stun someone? Too bad, you're in base and there is no source of ice element! Its similar to why Taliyah's worked ground mechanic was so stupid.

I thought it was straight-forward role, but having to micromanage when to attack minions for gold/xp seems like a lot to handle, in the sense that doing a bad job will deprive your teammates of gold/xp. Considering I am still just in swiftplay this is not an issue so far with the different economy, at least.

It sounds a lot more confusing than it really is. Support is the easiest role in the game. The burden falls primarily on your bot laner to get both of you the xp/gold lead, but, conversely, the burden is on you to not fuck his lane up by consistently making bad choices. When i say bad choices, I mean more about taking/forcing bad trades with the enemy an less about fucking up the wave. Neither is ideal, but sometimes the circumstances force the laners to eat shit for a bit to come out ahead later (ie, you cast an aoe on the wave because it will hit two enemies, but regrettably, that wave might get fucked a bit). Get oracle lens just before or right as you get your first support item evolution at 400g.

He doesn't say that. He says her winrate by mastery is a much steeper curve than someone like Nami, Milio or Sona. So firstly he is talking about Sera support which you don't play and secondly he is comparing her to basically the most braindead champs in the game. By this you mean damaging the bots instead of the enemy champs?

As far as the support item, you keep it for the entire game or eventually sell it and replace it with something else? I need to remember it's a level up item that I need to be aware of, unlike the jungler's. Also doing an awful job at vision, I constantly forget to place wards and if I do, it's in bad spots

Hmm looks better paced than the previous one, however the glorious champ capsule shows they're already considering a teir system within the free loots. They also got rid of the mystery free skin that is below 1350 RP token. More adjustments incoming I presume especially with the Hextech chest drop rates.
It's still incredibly hard to farm ME too, something people seem to have forgotten.
Also the icons are ugly, I was expecting a pretty black rose, not more regional symbols.
