It's kind of like any Kart Racer game when you get to a Time Attack mode, you gotta be drifting and boosting constantly for the good rewarding times.
But because this game isn't a kart racer, the collisions are a pretty funky. You'll just drive over a fair amount of it fine, but you still have a pretty good chance that your bigger than you'd think hitbox is going to slam directly into a street pole.

After playing a lot of BLITZ last season and getting to Elite on multiple classes, here's my list of how likely a spec is to influence the match result. With S-tier you can pretty much carry a game alone. And if you have multiple D, E or F on your team you can /afk.

I did the tutorial quest and then went back to using a normal ground mount. Dragonriding 2.0 it aint. Also, really annoying that it shows up as an extra action button instead of a mount in the journal.

Well of course, good holy priest will always be more beneficial than bad mw monk who doesn't even has transcendence on bars. But all in all, composition plays a fucking huge role in blitz, I was able to predict win/loss based only on both team comps with like 80% accuracy.

Unattended affli lock will just melt all enemies in a every teamfight.

No, I first played wow towards the very end of WoD and the beginning of Legion. I had insane luck with the mount drops, got like 5 of the 1% mounts and the Legendary weapon from Black Temple. 2 of those drops were during my first time going through the raid.

If you get focused as a ranged dps then they either gripped you (unlikely) or you're playing dumb and getting in the middle of fight instead of trying to keep your distance. Since you're dragon you have lower range so it might be harder to stay away. But the thing is: if they focus you it means they're not focusing rest of your team and they're free to nuke them (in theory, you often have braindead npcs on your team). Just play defensively and try to kite/disengage. As deva you have so much mobility it's annoying as fuck to catch up with you. Also oftentimes they won't follow you if they were at capture point. And if they do, your team should capture it and win.

I mostly play solo shuffle (point and laugh) and its usually:
If enemy comp has druid/rouge
- ill get locked down start of match
If any other melee
- ill need to kite them the entire game
I dont know if the people are just retarded but the other dps never capitalized on the fact (afaik, damage graphs tell me they're not)

yeah the maelstrom generation and damage is gutted, also not applying flame shock makes dot maintenence that much more annoying. with more haste from s2 gear and the 4set, might just drop it all together

WoD really solidified them as anything but conan the barbarians inspired. Long time Samantha VA for CoD zombies Julie Nathanson got replaced before the third map was released. Despite doing all the voice lines for the launch maps.
Then the rest of the nu Zombies crew who were voiced during that third map, are now clearly missing VA's for the fourth map which is why The Tomb doesn't really have an ending cutscene.

So right now the best way to get gear is killing rare mobs (including the phase 1 rares) since Blizzard didn't bother to tune those to season one gear like they did with the others so basically free 610 plus gear for yourself and your alts.

The only thing blizz can do about this is castrate M+ by capping it at like 10-15 keys.

As long as people are idolizing M+29 key push streamers and all think they are playing in MDI the community is going to enforce a "best specs only" standard and every M+ run is going to look exactly the same with out a scrap of variation.

This ais a community attitude problem not a game design problem.
People take the game to seriously and obsessively optimize every aspect of it until there is no fun remaining because fun is not optimal.

I asked the guard in Dorgonal where the battle pet trainer is, he told me where to go, I went there and... there's no HECKING option to learn how to equip pets, there's only a trader that accepts pet charms as currency which I don't have.

Tried the world quest race but couldn't get gold. I was half a second late on my best attempt. Never had any trouble with dragon races but can't get used to drifting and it doesn't help that it's on the same button as the jump so sometimes it will jump when I want to drift unless I turn my camera very sharply. in shadowlands pre-patch they somehow reset all this data for many accounts
the worst part was that they use hidden account-wide quests as "flags" for your account to unlock many features

Dreadful integration, it feels like Crazy Taxi - Except remove all the fun from Crazy Taxi and remove the music from Crazy Taxi and you have Drive.

Honestly… it is really bad!

Why:

1) The areas that require drive are far too tight
2) If you use keybinds that are not default it requires rebinding to make it more comfortable
3) Using Boost just feels really unnessesary, even using ground mounts only is more fun
4) You just end up boosting and drifting into a shop and unmounting constantly

Really… its just really poorly designed for such a tight network of streets

Dragonriding is the sole exception and even that has outstayed its welcome now that we live underground. It was perfect in DF where you could launch yourself from the top of Valdrakken and get anywhere in 2 minutes.

Gnomes are intetnionally made to look like children and have no culture or identity outside of "we like machines"

You could not stretch gnomes into an expansion, there is simply not enough depth for it. you COULD do a goblin expansion, it would be terrible but it could be done.

Goblin patch is gonna be overexposure within a few weeks a I think.

Anyone have any framerate performance tips or advice or what to look for?
I can do heroic 30 mans fine, but I step into my guild mythic20 and it fucking sucks. Especially queen.
I honestly don't even go crazy with add-ons or weakauras. No elvui, couple of encounter WA packs and a few big tracker WA
I even have 9800x3d or whatever
I have a very very old account would it be worth resetting server CVARS and lose my settings?
Or is there some no obvious addon that has lagged you?
I mostly have craft aid stuff, bigwigs, and hand notes

It's not even just fps it feels like spell lag and I have a latency tracker on my cast bar, I can see it expanding

Like I said I would think 30 mans would be wise but it's almost exclusively mythic raid that does it the worse

It's such a cockup. I'm convinced nobody at Blizzard actually plays Havoc, they just nerfed Fel-Scarred into non-viability because it was seeing 100% pick rate in S1.
So now you don't have to Fel Rush for damage and that makes casuals and non-Havoc players rejoice. But you have loads of extra buffs and stacks to track (which the default UI can't do, so enjoy more WAs), your damage windows are based on RNG and your damage cooldowns are all desynced. I've been a Havoc main since 8.0 and this is the first time I'm seriously considering rerolling. Might just go Retardin.

The problem with Undermine and modern goblins is that they've lost any and all edge they had in the old RTS games and early WoW.

Old lore referenced Kezan being a major slave-trading hub, for instance. No way you'd get that in modern WoW.

And Blizzard is so pozzed that even the idea of goblins being conniving and greedy and backstabbing - their main identifiable non-physical traits - is now "problematic", so there is functionally no real difference between them and, say, humans, or any other race which has had its "problematic" qualities removed.

So you end up getting a patch such as this with all the gravitas of a Saturday morning cartoon.

honestly I thought there'd be like an undermine highway and overpasses and something like that, but the whole place is just a clusterfuck of narrow short strips of streets, props that have collision enabled, and 10 yard buffer around the center hotel that dismounts you from your car. Plus the zone is so small anyway that using boost doesn't really feel that much faster to get from one side to the other. the D.R.I.V.E system is going to be dropped so fast.
