Then I made a toon on WrA a few weeks back, turned on warmode, and yeah this is probably the most fun I've had playing wow in like 10 years. RP pvp shards remind me of classic wow pvp days. At some point I just run out of kicks and cooldowns, he heals and I get fucked. Mobility is ok most of the time until he AoE on the cocoon and I can't kill it fast enough. Not sure if doable on this ilvl as on top of Zekvir's rng I also have to deal with the outlaw rng.

I'm playing on US/OCE servers at the moment (11:20pm us pacific time)...

The ability to get Harbinger of the Weathered/Carved/Runed achievement seems to have been turned off.

You *can* buy the triumphant satchel crests on toons who already had the achievement(s), but you cannot open them. It does the cast bar & then nothing happens.

So at this point I would be amazed if the S1 upgrade vendor was still functional when patch 11.1 goes live tomorrow.

Yeah, I know this is unpopular opinion, but blizz should really make leveling matter again.
being able to level a fresh character in like a couple days with no effort, by which I mean get carried in timewalking, meaning to sit in a town and queue the finder, results in these throwaway characters people feel like they can just be trash because none of it matters.
They kinda start actually learning the class once they force themselves into M+ possibly via a geared buddy and then you get them in a +8 and only gawk at how someone this retarded made it this far.

The idea that leveling should go back to taking months so that you don't have to put up with shitters in M+ pugs is laughable. If leveling took too long people would not spontaneously become good at the game while leveling, they would simply unsub when the meta shifts and the prospect of starting over from level 1 is too daunting.

Timewalking is shit however. The scaling is fucked and the dungeons are ruined.

McGuffin Iridikron got for Jobba'tath got damaged by Alleria at the end of the 11.0 story (still the worst narrative mistake they've made this expansion)
You meet up with Orweyna from the Spider-Zone side quests to further investigate the Black Blood and go on a spirit quest with her on orders of Azeroth.
The rest of the Harronir ditch her for breaking culture rules so it's left up to (you) and her to figure out what Azeroth is wanting her to do.
While on your quest, Azeroth gives Orweyna a vision of something bad happening in the Ringing Deeps which is when you meet up with Gazlowe who's already investigating the sussy Goblins.
Reznik then also shows up without a VA and after further investigation, the gang put together that the Goblins are using the Black Blood to power their machines and Gallywix is behind it. Meaning Gallywix is also in league with Xal'atath.
The gang regroup and Orweyna has a heart to heart with Magni, to which after Magni basically makes her the new pseudo-speaker of Azeroth dips from the expansion with Moira.
Now 11.1's plot is about going into Undermine to put a stop to the Goblin schemes and see what Gallywix is planning. And without going into the actual spoilers for the zone, we know from the zone announcement that Xal'atath and Gallywix have teamed up to repair the Dark Heart after Alleria broke it.

That's your summary of the patch set up.

The problem is that the game itself does not facilitate any kind of built in system to teach people their class or the game in general. Exiles reach was a step in telling people who have never touched a tab target mmo in their entire life how to push a few buttons but then they are immediately forgotten about the moment they are in stormwind/org, but that is an entirely different issue as actual brand new players are rare.

Legion's just the final act of Warcraft 3 again.

Shadowlands is just another Undead invasion expansion with the same hordes of undead running around pre-patch event, leading into taking the fight to the source of the Undead.
Dragonflight was just Cata's Doomsday cult backed by the elements, but with evil dragons in charge.
War Within blew up Dalaran again and is reusing Nerubians again.
Midnight is just gonna be the invasion of Silvermoon part of WC3's Undead campaign just with Void this time.

It's been all downhill since MoP.

They're already going ahead with LFR basically not existing for Dragon Soul when it comes to Cata classic and that seems to be carrying forward to MoP classic.
So people will likely have the same out of MoP Classic truly not being the classic MoP experience, with a hypothetical Legion classic.
Currently the biggest thing MoP Classic has going for it is that people will finally have HD footage of the Wrathion questline and 5.3 stuff

Worst thing about the cloak will comes down to the pvp requirement and raid requirement.
In original MoP, you could get cloak quest items via LFR for every part of the questline requiring you to go into a raid. The pvp stuff was for you to jump into the two new added battlegrounds that expansion and win them.
Now, presuming they go forward with the no LFR for classic thing they're doing so far, then yes. Getting your cloak quest will be harder because you'd have to actually do pre-made runs every week to progress your parts instead of your queue for LFR

i think farming 10s was a lot harder than 18s in DFs3. it just seemed like it takes 1 guy to fuck up your shit in a lot of the dungeons. I'm assuming you/they're using an SSD/NvME drive. The logic gates in the NAND cells which store the 0s or 1s which your data is made of have a finite physical limit for how many times data can be rewritten to them. Depending on what type of SSD you got these gates will be rated for a certain number of rewrites by the manufacturer. I won't get into the science of how and why some types last longer or shorter or read/write data faster or slow but it's all to do with material science and what happens to different materials under high/love voltage. What matters in this scenario is that Windows with it's jeetcode and other bullshit is constantly writing tiny bits of data to the HD. The less empty space you have on your drive the less the OS has to work with. If you have a 1TB drive that's 95%+ full then that 95% of the drive has data written to just waiting to be read, but the other tiny bit of empty space is what windows has left to work with to do it's stupid retarded background shit. So the OS is continuously writing tiny bits of data to a tiny bit of cells in the drive which means a very small section of the silicon is "consuming" it's rated number of rewrites faster whereas the rest of the drive is just sitting there doing nothing. This causes a small portion of the silicon to wear out which causes a performance loss over time and eventually failure where the logic gates don't read/write 100% of the time and you have a faulty SSD on the edge of death basically. So you always wanna leave a large chunk of empty space on your drive, if it's an SSD, for the OS and other apps to do their thing without having to worry about disproportionately wearing out the material in only a tiny "section" of your drive. This is called "wear leveling" where you try to distribute writes across an SSD to increase its lifecycle by not stressing out specific NAND cells.

If you want your games like wow to run nicely you gotta make sure you keep that SSD nice and healthy. :)

Make sure to check your data\indices folder and delete everything in it if it's taking up multi gb of space after patching

Game automatically generates the files when launched and should only take a few hundred mb
