I'm not playing mage until they fix their shit so that's off the table, leaving priest and lock.
I like the option to heal but hate shadow, but disc gives me a chunky PvP option too.
Lock is easy as fuck for me to play and has huge nostalgia for me since a lock was the very, very first character I ever made in WoW. However, I don't find it enjoyable as much and has some burnout associated with it.

The game is too large and varied, with too many people looking for too many different things for one streamer to be able to hit enough targets to stay relevant for very long.
If you don't like raiding then you're not going to watch a raiding stream. If you don't like PvP you won't watch a PvP stream, etc. Also, people may find streamer opinions insightful for a time but when you tune in for the 9th week and it's still the same fucking stuff being whispered in your ear you'll likely grow bored or "get the gist" to the point that tuning in offers nothing new.

Druid since they can perform all roles and I'm the type of person that wants the option to do everything so Druid is top for me.

Next is Evoker since I absolutely love the Mastery and overall design. I wish Aug was a tank and not support spec but Devastation is just super cool for me.

Paladin is 3rd because ret feels fun to play but Protection also feels great. I like to be able to enjoy fights and ret let's me focus on mechanics instead of trying to scramble while keeping up a rotation. I think paladins also get the overall best tmog.

You hold the haft closer to the axe when idle - because of the center of weigh, it's easier to hold like that.
But when you swing it, you hold it all the way down for the extra momentum, same with war hammers.
Unfortunately, the game is stuck in <2004 in this regard, so you get a universal animation for out of combat and in-combat. Also depending where on the weapon's model they decide to place the point where the character holds it.

In fact, bearded axes completely mog regular axes and one of the main advantages of the bearded axe is the fact that the beard acts as the handguard when you hold the axe close to the head. Using the full length of the axe shaft to get more leverage is something you do in very specific tactical scenarios (i.e. when you want to hook someone) or want to land a blow against a heavily armored opponent's helm.

Gearing in patch will start at 619, which is what current champ gear ends at (champ is what you get in T8 delves end chest).
How much stuff you get just from questing I don't know, only judging from what I've seen on spreadsheets.

Either way, wow is now "seasonal" made so you could jump in during the latest season without the need to play the previous one, so there's that.

I dont think you understand. theres plenty of games I can play with a handful of friends. theres very few games I can play with 20 friends at the same time. I guess rbgs can have 10 people, but m+, delves, and arena cant support 20 man teams the same way raids can. the appeal is theres 20 of us that team up weekly for a common goal and I bump into them throughout the week. its an entirely different experience compared to randomly joining up to play helldivers. I dont think Id stick around just to do m+ with friends either

Not in present timeline, you can check it out yourself, take a low level see for example Legion zones, they only go up to 45 for Suramar, Broken Shore and Argus unless you use Chromie time then it scales up to 70 for older expansion zones

Darkmoon Deck: Symbiosis makes Tank and DPS challenges much easier. That + vers enchant on weapon can get you a massive amount of vers.
Healing challenge is basically simulating the worst pug you could possibly get into - shit damage, no defensives, no CC - so it sucks giant dick.

>Ignore boss mechanics (DPS loss)

The DPS role in MMO's is played solely by cattle. The only reason it exists is because of over-inflated health pools. If you remove damage dealers and reduce HP, nothing changes about the gameplay, tanks and healers and combat remains exactly the same. If you remove tanks or healers, the gameplay and encounters completely change.
There is no punishment for taking unncessary damage, there should be a damage debuff for not avoiding damage.
There is no reward for not interrupting, so DPS players never do this. There should be +Haste for this or something.
