I would say this game is just not a good one to play with a gf, it can be frustrating and a bummer if you lose and not feel that insanely great if you win because there's still 3 others you have to play around with and try to carry.
Yes there's one of those "against all odds" type of thing you can try to go through a journey with them in the ladder but again it's simply just not worth it due to so many factors that makes it not a good idea than it being so. I think the worst of it are those couples who break up in game or argue in game or unironically find a better duo to play with and split or get asked to buy a ton of cosmetics or just other things that outweigh the random wins here and there.
In your situation your gf can definitely get picked up by some random guy in literally any other elo and duo with her to climb an entire rank in like 20 straight wins compared to you.
If you want to play a game as a couple you can try the basic stuff like minecraft or even play an mmo as a heal tank duo or something genuinely comfy in terms of multiplayer but desu mostly keep her in the single player zone.

I've looked into it. Playing with a duo booster getting 3 wins costs roughly 110-120 usd, from several different boosting sites. He's won i think around 37 games last time I checked. Not all of them are duo I assume but I think most of them are. If you add that + tips (because I'm sure si17 isn't cheap and not tipping her third world LAS challenger jungles r-right....), I think he's spent around 1300 USD in boosting since the start of this season.

Yes, this is my issue, usually with Jax, Trynda and Irelia (unless I manage to sneak a kill on Irelia in the early levels)
If I make it relatively even in level and gold to the late game though, I melt through the whole enemy team and that's pretty fun.
And I feel like getting counterpicked and being a spectator is something that can happen with most top lane champs.

I'm trying to make Nunu a support. I build Locket+roaming boots+Trailblazer. After that, I just try to build more tank stuff. I've tried Aftershock, Guardian, Phase Rush, and am currently working with Conqueror with Hexflash+summoner spell cooldown. This is a result of me wanting to pick up a tanky engage support like Nautilus or Leona but

1. Not female or brown
3. Can play another role
2. Preferably has a working dick

Laning is not easy and a lot of deaths can happen if your team doesn't know how to play around your snowball. I'm thinking of switching my secondary to either Sorcery for the movespeed to try to get more insane engages or Resolve to try to get more survivability. Is there anything I'm missing?

No one's going to say Jax was originally meant to be a Sand Troll. He was originally meant as just some weird dude with 3 fingers and 2 toes, probably as some stupid reference to the TMNT honestly since League did stupid references like that back then.
But then Trundle came out and had 3 fingers. That's when people started making the theory that Jax was also a troll. It was just speculation around the same number of fingers at that time, nothing more. A simple fan theory. Then Riot added that thing about sand-trolls canonically existing from Ezreal's notes when they did the big Universe map. Another point for the fan theory, but still just a loose one.

The point is what they did with Jax with his update. They made his muscles much more pronounced, made his skin a more blue shade of purple than before, and specifically gave him 3 toes now instead of the 2 he had before, again matching the trolls we've seen.
It's not like they'd ever outright state it, but they clearly made his changes in a way that easily feeds more into the theory.
As for the black thing, that's just around him being Shuriman more than anything. Most Shurimans are brown or black. Also, the fact that Jax is more purple than Trundle could in fact be a kind of "melanin" to the blue skin. It's darkened to better handle the constant sun.

What? It doesn't imply that at all. It's just that there's multiple races of trolls across runeterra. Just like there's a bunch of different Vastaya. They probably had some common ancestor way back, but they branched off and adapted to the environments they're in.
Jax is notably sleeker and has a darker pigment to his skin, but they still have the same bulkiness, blue tone skin and 3 fingers/toes. They'd be a clear example of evolution fitting the environments.

Was gonna say something about the minotaurs possibly fitting in here too since Alistar has 3 fingers and a blue tone skin as well, but actually I just checked and all the other minotaurs in LoR have 5 fingers. So they may actually want Alistar to have 5 if they ever update him again. Minotaurs in League are weird in general since Riot insists they're NOT Vastaya.

Do you not know how evolution works? I'm not saying anyone here was coming from anyone else currently existing. I'm saying that we got two clearly non-human characters with similar traits but enough divergence to denote different races or even possibly subspecies classification.

Also, Kennen's one of the ancient champs that hasn't gotten a visual update since all these attempts at more consistency in races started. All modern Yordles have 4 fingers and toes (thanks to the Bandle Gunners for some reason having their toes out as part of the uniform). Pretty sure whenever Kennen gets a VU, they'll give him the same 4 fingers and toes.

This game will still exist in 5 years however the state of it will depend on the guys maintaining it and again the players decisions as a whole based on what's given.
League's been out for 15 years, a good portion of people have spent time, money and effort into this game, enough that sunk cost goes into play and some players are unironically contained within the IP due to the years of being conditioned into the gameplay, story, players, etc where it feels kinda uncomfortable to "relearn everything" playing something else.
Also because this game is old some people are just locked into it due to hardware restriction making it so that they cannot really play the newer or better games, only stuff like League or pixel indie stuff or Runescape. The fact that the game is still free to play also still keeps the lowest common denominator coming.
People also stick around this game because there are still active things in the works and new content still gets pumped out aka it's not dead yet and they have successfully expanded their IP in other forms of media so to call the game dead and kill PC League wouldn't really be something to expect in 5 years (especially with their 20th anniversary coming in 4 years, big announcements coming?).

At most if the games player base dwindles due to bad practices and losing to other competition since the game is stupidly outdated and functioning less as intended they will start killing off low pop servers like Japan, Vietnam and make those players play in OCE, wipe the Middle East and Turkey server too, Merging EUW with EUNE and NA possibly merged with BR (though unsure since NA also covers Canada I think), or better yet merge all the servers into a global one.
In terms of esports if a regional server dies they can just import the 1 or 2 guys from the literal who server into a different regions team anyways since that's somehow allowed with NA players getting EU people and whatever.
Tldr, yeah the game will still exist, they're still updating it and applying efforts in other places to expand and further make the whole thing not die. If they make some genuinely stupid decision like kill off all the new projects, make PC league pay to play/win, etc then yeah the games dead lol.

I have like.... slightly over 200 lvl 30 handleveled accounts all hand leveled by me.
I run 14 League clients on 13 laptops and 1 pc and play normal games.
The downside to these accounts is that due to their low winrate if you tried going into ranked with them you would be placed in Iron 4 and you would get really low lp gains because the mmr is tanked by the low winrate but they have no chance of getting banned for botting if you use them since they are hand levelled.
How much could i sell each of them for?

tryndamere will get you a long way, but his build and ult make you play teamfights extremely weird (dive into backline and run away) that doesn't really translate well

nasus is an extremely unfun pick that makes you play passively, wait for level 6 before going to demolish lane, not recommended because it will develop "muh stacks" mentality

my ultimate dream is to reach plat. I'm an adc main and I exclusively play varus and jinx. I find I can pretty consistently win lane with varus running commet lethality and chunking them down with Q. I find I have decent map awareness and don't randomly get caught out or start bad teamfights, but I think I'm too passive. When I see my teammates do this I kind of just stay back and get flamed for not helping. How should I handle this?

I'm trying to actively review my losses and improve as a player, but I fear I'll just get really stuck and waste time spamming games. Any advice?

varus is strong and versatile, so you can fill any DPS need your comp has from ADC to APC to Assassin-sniper
maybe work on farming rotations so you have as little downtime on getting gold as possible

being "too passive" as an adc isn't really possible, since youre always getting gold and helping out on objectives in that priority
you're not supposed to "run halfway across the map" to get in a teamfight, you should already be farming close enough to join in and back out with minimal danger

varus has the luxury of having an obscenely strong R, so you kind of are the backbone of objective fights, just be conscious enough to be at the right objective at the right time

i wish you luck, varus is a very cool champ

Yeah I think I need to be more consistent with CSing. Like last game I was at 86 by 10 minutes, but then 2 games ago it was 65.

Sometimes I get games that are systematic and feel "in control". The jungler is at dragon when it's up, the team is proactively managing vision, the team has some tempo with rotations... these are the games I wish I always had. But unfortunately every few games it's a complete fiasco. It seems like everyone is in a manic state kill fragging and that's when I get super passive. I think a better player could capitalize off of the chaos, but I fear I'll contribute to the feeding.

In the second type of game, I'm worried I can't trust my team to cover a sidelane if the top is split pushing, so I'll just abandon the group and cover it so we don't lose inhib. Do you have any insight into a good strategy for these situations?

I like varus a lot. The more I get familiar with his kit the more powerful he's becoming for me.

Yeah I do some alone hobbies too, it's much nicer and less involved than organizing stuff with people and their baggage and stuff.
The job stuff you just spam them everyday and maybe adjust the cv to the companys liking if they seem decent, unironically took me years to get the decent one I have now, you're gonna have to remain persistent and I guess just keep playing this game to not stress about irl stuff.

Yeah the job market is trashy and there's nothing you can do about it, came back to playing League and such when struggling to do so myself, in a way it helped but at the same time didn't because reality hits hard when you hit the bed for the day.
