The "quality" of the animation has improved, but it really doesn't matter when the message/scenes are shit. They spent God knows how much time to give you 40 secs of F*erin just so they check their DEI box. You'll never get a good cinematic again.

It really hasn't. Graphical fidelity =/= animation. It's stiffer and as you said the cinematics nowadays tell shitty non-stories. WoTLK isn't even my favorite and also had a fairly passive looking cinematic but it did a ton of cool shit, like Sindragosa flying above the horde of undead minions. I bet they thought that Anduin doing Arthas' pose was so hecking epic or something but in reality it is just sad that the cinematic can't do anything cool of its own.

you also lose the sense of scale unless the zones are gigantic (which now they kinda have to be since dragonriding is a thing)

Well handicap I set myself doing it on a server out of my own region to give myself some lag aside, the fight just doesn't look like it even functions as it probably should. His mechanics overlap each other nonsensically to a point where he can and probably will far more often than not do something completely out of sync to what he should.
I didn't win because I just got good, I didn't do anything different to the last thirty attempts. I did it because he FINALLY followed me across the room to a position I needed him in during the crucial moments for once. Before he'd just throw his add egg across the room and just sit there casting everything after another, ending with a Claw Smash cone that covered the room and was unavoidable. The few times I just put up with that and let the add hatch, it has more health than the egg, chances are I'm not gonna have all abilities to negate all of the webs it throws out before I can kill it, giving him a free deadly bitchslap on me.
Or he throws the ontop of that stupid platform in the back of his room where none of his spell effects can be seen through the ground of it to know where I'm dodging.

Kinda seems like they were trying to make a Fromsoft boss, more dodging than damage. Problem is, they can't do that with this sort of gameplay, it doesn't keep up with itself and turns out a fight that becomes much more RNG than skill.
Also Fromsoft games are shit.
'Challenge' isn't randomness, I had the fight down several attempts into it. He just decides to ignore his own rules on occasion to fuck everything. Unless you're a class that can just lolno everything he does with specific handy talent choices (Ret Paladins and Warriors for example), you're taking his mechanics and hoping he follows through the way he should rather than forcing an unwinnable position.
It is not a satisfying fight to play or win.

You don't need to worry about getting crazy gear now cuz the gear squish, and raids will be more lax with requirements cuz no one will have gear either. I wouldn't expect to finish the raids in pugs though

All you need is gear for this. I forgot this existed until I got reminded it's getting removed. Did it on the second try as a 635 Windwalker Monk, but didn't get the Solo achievement. I reset the delve and immediately killed him after that and got the achievement. With enough gear, drums, and consumables you just completely flatten him.

fury can literally talent to have 6 ways to remove the snare, your burst should always be up to be able to destroy the egg right away if not cleave the boss while you are doing so, your heroic leap has a good range and cooldown on it that should allow you to always avoid even the worst of claw smashes, you can just do the whole damn fight in defensive stance and even without defensive stance if you combine spell reflection with enraged regen and rallying cry you can survive 1 fuck up of any spell he does guaranteed, bitter immunity lets you dispel yourself if you happen to let a cast of the dot go through once, every interrupt you have available to you should be a dps increase, and even if you have to start playing from behind because you let a heal get through while destroying the egg just chill out focus on mechanics and collect yourself again. I raped zekvir?? as a fury warrior because you have all the right tools, the only thing that really kept tripping me up is the spec wants you to play as some spastic spammy fucker but to do the fight well you have to be really patient with it all. If you have double tier 3 radiant power that proc can crit sometimes for almost 2 million and it helped me burst the egg down several times.
Spell reflect is extremely important, but no you arent going to reflect the cast. You're going to absorb a massive amount of damage instead. A trick is to defensively use your offensive cooldowns, since with the right talents you're still going to be able to get avatar active and get rid of snares with it, so it's important to have them on backup depending on how the fight's going. Sometimes it may even just be better to let zekvir fully cast something because thats less time he's going to spend doing other mechanics, but ideally you want the last possible moment interrupt so that he's taking 5% more damage from you.

If you really cared about pvp racials you wouldn't be playing tauren. Also Alliance is the go-to faction for pvp now. Epic BGs are literally the only thing Horde ever wins thats pvp related and Ally can still queue on their side through mercenary mode.

Set brann to healer, use porcelain arrowhead and lifeless necrotic relic or amorphous relic and have tier 4 of each of them. If you get the active of amorphous relic that gives you extra hp, then you should 100% be able to survive a hit from every mechanic if you have all of your defenses up. It's busted as shit. Even if you don't get the effect that gives you extra life, the one that gives you additional speed should be more than enough to help you evade mechanics. Eitherway theres a lot of shit you need to consider changing because it's clearly not working out if you're to be believed.

The issue with both the tauren stuns is they cause DR for real stuns. So you can end up screwing over yourself or teammates by having your little baby stun destroy the duration of what would be a long stun.

If you want mobility then worgen is probably your best bet. Last patch made it so darkflight STACKS with other movement speed buffs. Draenei also got Gift of the Naaru buffed too with a 2min cd so now it lines up better with most defensives.

NPC's in main locations relevant to expansions to let you solo queue LFR raids like you run their other versions just walking in, but because LFR is split into sections, they just have you queue for those sections the same way.

Dragon Soul's got an NPC outside the instance.
MoP Raids are above Mogu'shan Palace sitting near Cho.
WoD has an Orc sitting outside your main building in your Garrison (not sure if you need lvl 3 or not).
Legion is in Dalaran to the left of Violet Hold.
BFA is a Tortollan in either faction capital, in their Inns.
Shadowlands has a guy in Oribos in the room with Bolvar and such... somewhere, can't remember specifically. One of the cartel dudes.

This is the exact talent build I used when I killed zekvir?? on my fury warrior. Don't care if it's suboptimal or whatever but it was what worked out for me. I had a HUGE damage boost in his execute phase with this set up. I dont know what your talents are, maybe they're similar, maybe not, whatever, but this was what I had when I tore him a new ass. I was also using every consumable I could to increase my haste, and had enchanted for movement speed however, with the algari diamond that gave me crit damage increase for each unique gem color. When he was in execute range I was able to hit him with bloodthirst crits that did almost 5 million damage. Porcelain arrow's extra crits coming up at the right time only further fucktupled my damage output because I was able to get another use of recklessness up in that moment.

I don't think he's active yet (or at least I can't find him). I know it hasn't got legacy loot for DF raids yet, so probably waiting for that, because running DF raids has bosses drop fuck all, sometimes nothing at all because its still on the system of drops scaling per five players in group.
I think the trend has usually been mid-expansion when the previous one gets their Legacy looting and LFR NPC's, so might be next patch.

that's exactly why the buff from 3 to 2min was a pretty big deal. You can just macro it to a 2min defensive and never think about it again. for blood DK it's actually really fucking strong with Vampiric Blood since it increases your max health AND healing, making Gift's % of hp healing go a long way.

Here is what life is like for a NEET with no friends who plays WoW all day every day:

- Log in.
- Sit AFK in Dornogal.
- Copy other players titles and mounts and then letting them know, smugly, that they're not special.
- Buy WoW tokens and sell on AH for ~370k gold a piece.
- Contemplating running a transmog raid or two. Never actually do it.
- Do enough Delves to get 616 gear in the Vault.
- Spend most of my time typing on here and looking at other players transmogs on WoWhead, Pleddit and YouTube.
- Look through "All The Things" and see everything I haven't done. Lack the will to even start doing them.
- Buy tons of 100-200g greens on AH, disenchant them, then sell the mats back to people at a loss.

Short answer to your question is yes. Long answer is Mythic Plus has more interest than ranked, also the barrier to entry is not as severe as the likes of ranked pvp. Not only that, but for pvp in particular you have to first get out of unranked which can vary whether your competent enough to kill players and do objectives which can either be less than 10 games or more depending on how much you win. Once your out, it now takes 50 wins or arena ties to get just the current season vicious mount and then another 50 wins or ties to actually get the saddle meant for the older vicious mounts of seasons past (Or doing the one achievement for Rated BG's, which right now only the original format is counting towards it and not the solo queue Blitz version which ngl is fucking retarded that they didn't update that yet.) And like >>515459154 mentioned, if you just started doing rated pvp for the first time ever, it takes over 1000 wins or arena ties to get every single Vicious mount there is if you hadn't gotten the aforementioned achievement. All of those things mention pretty much deters any newfag collector to getting into the ranked pvp scene over the likes of Mythic Plus since again, the barrier of entry is significantly smaller.

Well the exploit in question is basically that but If you made 8 starter accounts, kept them logged on as you completed your final shuffle/blitz game, they too would get a saddle in their inventory as well as the mailbox. So if you added subs to those trials to access the mailbox, you would have a grand total of 18 saddles from that one completion alone. But that was sadly fixed as of January in which any new vicious saddle is only rewarded to the mailbox... however the trials can still get the saddle in the mail so if you have the money, can basically buy yourself a saddle for 15 bucks a pop. Which is what I did this season just to see if it was true or not, but only with one starter account btw./spoiler]

My guild got CE and one of our tanks is so bad it's unreal. I once took a look at our logs out of curiosity (tanks kept falling over randomly) and he simply would not press core rotational abilities over essentially hundreds of pulls from the first boss to the last. Because once upon a time, it was basically a racial version of the pvp trinket to a complete T. Because of that, Humans can slip off the pvp trinket for more burst or healing for the second trinket slot, thus making them at one point the GOAT race in pvp. Problem is they nerfed it, but forgot to nerf WOTF as well aside just removing the after effect. It's like say in TF2, they nerfed the Ambassador, but the Diamondback was left untouched.

Idk man. Both would be pretty busted if they were given the Paladin class. I'd say Forsaken beats out Orc since right now the meta is plagued with classes that can fear more so that can stun. But orc would basically make races like Dark Irons, Lightforge, and Zandalari obsolete.

Both of those races got buffed this past mid point patch. Lightforge think got a racial that is a burst dmg as well as a healing one. Zandalari fixed the regeneration racial so if you use divine shield, you basically got all your health back and saved your healer mana for the other guy. Also think their loa feature got reworked too so that they got basically a discounted version of the human spirit.

Rogue's have aoe blind now, though it's duration is short enough that it shouldn't matter. He could have sapped your pet and blinded you, in which case the one extra global needed to start capping means either you or your pet should have come out of cc RIGHT before his cap finished and could have stopped him, provided your pet was right on the flag. Depends on the item in question. I'd say every piece except the head and shoulders would be the cheaper option through the BMAH. As for bid wars. Ain't no mother fucker gonna bid war on something that's been in the BMAH for years, and more so if a rare mount is on the list that day. Highest I've ever seen a T3 piece go for was like 150k.

What this anon said, buy T3 off the BMA, just do it during mid season, late in a season, or during a shit season/expansion and you can get most pieces for 10k. I bought the whole T3 Hunter set for 10k and some of the T3 sham set for T3 with this method.

That's all because the canonical plot of the second war doesn't make sense from a military point of view. The Orcs couldn't possibly have reached the final mission of their campaign and then just lost the war with a full reversal into Human campaign victory. But if you don't follow the game you have to invent an entire new plot which is much more difficult than adapting something with a few flimsy retcons, and besides muh Honorabru Doomhammeru was already dictated by Metzen to Golden as far back as Lord of the Clans.
A reasonable alteration of the plot would have been if Doomhammer realised that Gul'dan had a chance to use whatever power in ToS to re-enslave the Horde and so taking Lordaeron would have been a meaningless victory for him, and given how he was savvy enough to thwart the Shadow Council in the first place it would be in character. But instead it was the usual "the Horde playerbase wants to be Genghis Khan and Shogun Minamoto at the same time" so of course Doomhammer had to be both honorable and a ruthless human slaughterer at the same time. The Horde exists to kill humans and look good doing it, as we all know.

When the boss does green aoe circle, depending on difficulty, you need to stay with your group inside smaller green circles and have a dedicated person step on the "nipple" in the middle of said circle. You will then be thrown up into the air, avoiding the aoe.

Those numbers are from people FINISHING a run btw, failed runs don't count towards it and oh surprise, suddenly a gazillion less runs completed when the runs are a lot harder.
