if you can select a region i do not think it actually matters, it's probably just for data collection. the only time this matters is when you download a separate game client entirely, like how pazudora has a global and jap client. the game's content is released simultaneously as well which leads me to believe this is just so they know who their audience is

EoS will only happen if the Game and Content is not that good. But because it's an Action Game and also it has Danganronpa team it should stay strong for a few years at least. I do not think the team is expecting it to last a decade.

Believe me. I have been trying to get the word out in various places so it has a good start. Granted it's going to be a small niche but committed base but we will be there. Unless the game is bad but it's unlikely.

People will care as it goes on. Same thing happened with Danganronpa a decade ago. It was the first few months of people beating the game and realizing how great it was and spread the word much like Persona. Then it reached peak. As long as the story and characters are great as these chapters release people will come.

So what how does this gacha work, are all the units the same rarity?
Is it going to be like Heaven Burns Red, where you have a set cast of characters but the gacha is them in different costumes.
Also 9 males and only 5 females.
I really didn't expect them to do that considering the reputation gachas have.

I'm not sure it's worth I tried watching the first episode and outside some familiar faces, and one of the craziest glow ups ever.

i actually started it too a few hours ago just out of morbid curiosity and i had fun with it. it's not terrible or anything but it's not the best anime i watched ever either, it's just a neat romp. the deadly demo is ultimately what won me over, this just feels like supplemental material if you want more out of the world.

There is absolutely nothing about this that's different to what any gacha does. Ever. You get content updates on a schedule of however many weeks / months and in between you do your dailies to save up gems to be able to roll the gacha when content updates hit.
It's idiotic that they're trying to present this as something unique and it's laughable that you're falling for it.

I'll honestly need to see it for myself, I've seen games without stamina implement other methods to keep being logging in daily.
No stamina and Short daily game play seems nice but it's also just a really good PR talking point.
The mobile phone market is saturated with gacha, people going to play tribe nine probably play more than one other gacha or live service game.
To get people to want to keep playing you're game you either need it to kill interest in other games of the same genre which is really hard to do because sunken cost fallacy or you need it to be able to be slotted in.
My guess is on a survey they did the average person admitted to playing other gacha and the devs realized the first feedback they'd hear was,

but this begs the question how do they do progression? if it's not stamina then what daily lockouts?

If you don't know when you are been controlled (into loging every day and doing dailies) then that statment makes sense, why have the desire to pull characters just play the game without looking at the gacha if it bothers you. Tho this only works in game that give you trial characters to complete the story, which is your first way to determine a good gacha game. I instant delete games manipulating me into pulling fu. So yeah that's why I am looking forward to playing this.

For people who need to be spoonfed about rerolling,
>Do the tutorial
>Unlock Synchro
>Grab the free shit from the mail
>Pull
>If you don't get who you want, go back to the title and delete Player Data
>Start the game again, except this time you're able to skip the tutorial
>Repeat until you're happy with your pulls
Whole process only takes a couple of minutes once you go through the tutorial the first time. And yes this can be done on Steam.

Wizardry has no stamina system if you play well. You can grind BiS gears and max your MC and upgrade 5* units by farming 24/7

0.6% per pull for All 3 * Combined. In the limited banner, 0.3% is for the limited character and the other 0.3% is split between the 3* standards.
You do have pity at 80/80 but it's the mihoyo coin flip.
Also standard you're 0.6% is split between Tension cards (weapons?) and the characters.

I don't see how you can copy mihoyo rates and hope to beat mihoyo. Atleast it doesn't look like theirs a relic farming/disc drive/echo/gear mine yet.

These are Genshin impact rates. The rates aren't great but honestly they're not any different from ZZZ or Wuthering waves 0.8% (ignoring weapon banner).
The problem the game has is it's got to really sell itself on the game play, which it could people say they like kodaka's writing.
Jun Maeda made heaven burns red and that's basically just a visual novel with 3 guys in a row combat.
It just all depends oh how much people like tribe nines combat and story and how much currency they give.

Chapter 0 is far, far faster than it was in the Deadly Demo. You guys who didn't play that have no idea. The town section right at the start was about 3x longer. Then there were more conversations between the first few fights introducing the cast that they removed entirely here, and there was a delay between lines of text that they've shortened now. But they didn't adjust the other scenes to accommodate the removed scenes, so this bit of dialogue doesn't make much sense because they removed the scene of Todoroki talking to others and giving Yo the negative impression of him before this.
Then it diverges completely from the original storyline when you fall down the hole and it introduces the gacha, and Yo gets surprised about seeing Koishi come out of it even though they haven't talked at all in this version and Yo doesn't even know who Koishi is yet, because they basically just moved the scene here from far later without changing the script again.
It's probably worth looking up the demo story once you're done rerolling because they left out a lot, especially in regards to dialogue that'd make you attached to Iroha and Yakumo at the start.

They also improved the character animations in story scenes a bit, there are more of them and they have a bit more detail in effects like the hobo girl drooling. Also I'm pretty sure Jio was a 2* in the demo, not a 3*.

In these new wave of Gacha's it's more like the Gameplay and the Core Selling point nowadays. It's more of a GaaS with Gacha than it being Gacha now. Notice how this one anon mentioned it >>515037618 including the other one that said they like Wizardry Variants Daphne. Those may not be the best Rates, but they do have a solid Gameplay Loop and a selling point to keep people coming back for more. In this it's the ARPG Gameplay with Kadoka's writing people are wanting it for the Episodic Format like Limbus, for Wizardry Variants Daphne it has an all star cast of Artists and good Developers who understand the Wizardry formula well.

I didn't know they omega nerfed Enoki from the beta, kinda feel like rerolling for her was a waste since I did skip a Q in my reroll session and I liked his design just as much. But really tho I get that the game is now way more responsive and it makes every char generally way stronger and I also get beta Enoki was a braindead ape char but man, they really gutted her.

I've been playing for 40 minutes, and it's incredibly slow. There's no skip option, and the fast-forward feature feels almost useless. The story tries to hit us with an early plot twist, but it’s not very surprising.

The biggest issue, though, is the endless loading screens—one after another—almost as bad as Digimon ReArise.

As for the combat, after playing Wuthering Waves and Zenless Zone Zero, I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but it feels extremely slow and, for lack of a better word, cheap.

Also, after finishing the tutorial, you don’t even get enough for a 10-pull? Uff…

Those are my initial impressions.

It's a 75% chance during the guaranteed pity. So you have a 75% chance of pulling the pickup unit and a 25% chance of pulling the the standards. During normal pulls it's going to be the .6% with a 50/50 chance of getting the pickup.

Oh, okay I understand now. Wish this information was present under banner details. Given that the .6% effectively means we cannot pull a 3* without pity it's nice to know that we have a 75% shot at the rate-up. These games might as well do away with % chance at this point; you effectively don't ever want to get a 3* outside of pity because you have a higher chance of getting fucked. Imagine hitting the .6% just before pity and losing; the experience is somehow way worse than losing a 50/50 in a Hoyo game.

They used to trigger off inflicting status effects but that limited party comps severely because they all had to chain into one another in order, so they removed that aspect and now you can just fire it off however.

Hard to say (since I never played the beta), the fat boy has a bunch of buffs for your team but his playstyle is intentional hard mode. Tsuruko is a healer and ranged attacker that puts her healing zones in places where your melee damage would get heals.
Other than that, probably best to wait for people to actually get to the current end-game to see what's the best right now.

Actual spoilers I'd presume they're going to be killed off because Ichinose dies, but evil women hot so they might be spared and Sui is the second boss. The cards that relate to Eiji are pretty strong but that involves running him the AI does a pretty good job of staying alive despite his whole kit forcing all of the enemies onto him

With the low rates and lack of currency, you're legitimately screwing yourself over if you don't spend hours rerolling. With how low the rates are you should at least be able to reach the first pity pull just be clearing the first chapter.
Hopefully they get blasted and then do damage control by either giving out a lot more free pull as compensation or by drastically increasing the amount of currency you get from going through the story/exploring.
