>>514575437>Band of BastardsIt wasn't too bad, it just felt utterly pointless and meaningless. More like a normal sidequest than a proper dlc, but it did have neat characters.
>Amorous Adventures of Sir Hans CaponTotal disappointment. It's even more of just a meaningless sidequest than BoB. It's barely even about Hans to begin with, he only makes token appearances. Only highlights of the dlc is that spooking the camping trio was funny and so was distracting the butcher while Hans impregnated his daughter, still nowhere near worth it.
>Woman's LotHonestly the best of them in terms of story. Theresa's story was already a good addition to the game, with a really poignant story, but then it also adds the Madonna of Sasau quest, which is also impactful and has a good length. On top of it all, it added Mutt to the base game, letting you have a unique addition throughout the whole game. Easily the best DLC.
>From the AshesManaging a settlement and seeing it grow is neat but really just a glorified money sink into money maker. I'm all for that kind of content but they could have attached a bit more story to it and made the management a bit more in depth than just figuring out what will end up producing the most money.
>TournamentI mean, it's just one extra side activity. Good for combat practice and getting neat items, but can't really be put on the same level as the others. Feels like something that should just have been in the base game.
All in all I'd say it's fairly easy for KCD2 DLCs to surpass 1's. The only real goal to pass is Woman's Lot and From the Ashes, and I can see them surpassing From the Ashes very easily. Also while I did enjoy Theresa's story, I've never actually been that big of a fan of "play as someone else at another time and have none of this reflect in the base game" DLCs.
