Comfort is subjective.
Even if it weren't, as if Silvermoon's prissy as fuck design, carpets, fancy lounges/chairs and bedding/pillows doesn't automatically scream more comfort than anything in Stormwind.
Or even Thunderbluff. Might be mostly tents, but Tauren are big beefy people (heh), need plenty of padding to keep their heavy arses comfy.

I'm half curious to see what Horde housing produces for that races idea of 'comfort'.

Put this shit right in the middle of your screen and make sure Block and Ignore are on really convenient keybinds like Q and E. Aim for 100% uptime on both and you become practically immune to most damage. The only time you should let them drop is when you're chain pulling and taking 0 autos. Any time you're in combat and can push your Block duration out to 20+ seconds just do it. I've healed a ton of keys this season with different Prot Warriors and I always track their uptime. The difference between 60% and 90% is night and day.

Personally I think Horde players complaining about mudhuts are kinda stupid. Orc players wanting a proper house or whatever like humans and such, like... The fuck are you even playing dude. Why did you immerse enough to wanting to play an Orc if you don't like that sort of aesthetic. Horde races (the good ones anyway) aren't so precious about the elements to need floors and windows n' shit.

All I personally want from housing is to just not be like Garrisons with the singular theme for all factions. I don't want my Gnomes to have human houses. If they can't or don't let the housing themes be interchangeable for whatever reason, then at least give them their race appropriate house. And most Horde buildings are fine for that race.
Standard ground level of an Orc Inn like in the Garrison? Cool, its round, lots of space for stuff on the walls, change bar with fire place. I can dig that.
Troll house, I don't even care if its like open aired and made of wood and straw or whatever like their usual buildings. Like this building, I can live with this sort of building for Trolls (with higher res and detail). Let me furnish this. This is -very- comfy for Trolls and their general aesthetic, who cares if its really open and lacking windows, they clearly never care about wind blowing through their living room.
I'll optionally take the upstairs open deck to look out over the neighbourhood even and furnish up there too. It's not necessary but that would be sick.

I hadn't touched or thought about this game until last month after quitting back in Shadowlands.
The only thing I heard about Dragonflight in that time was from a small vocal group that swore up and down it was "actually underrated!" and "the best since MoP!".
After returning and going through all the leveling and patch content, I can safely say that it was fucking abysmal. Like holy shit it was so offensively mediocre that I'd rank it in the bottom 3 xpacs.
Anyone claiming DF is better than TWW has to be trolling or actually has down syndrome.

for horde: azshara, durotar and from the concept art a bit of frostfire ridge?
so this will be at launch. and i suspect that midnight will bring a silvermoon/thalassian zone for horde, and night elven/darnassian theme for alliance
im confident that by how 10.2.5 ended with tyrande mentioning the rebuilding of darnassus, it will happen

Well they said we'll start with just the horde and alliance plot but that doesn't necessarily mean we'll only get one type of house per plot. Hopefully we'll be able to interchange the actual home model itself or even just keep it an open field if we really want.

Kind of retarded zones now though. There's tons of quests that were originally level gated and now they're not and it breaks the intended path through the quests. The first time you arrive in town there's 30 quests on the map but by the end you are running back and forth completing 1 quest at a time because it's the only thing left. Good atmosphere and music but utterly mogged by Eversong/Ghostlands.

As a demo lock the spec is indeed haste reliant and fairly immobile, you dont need weakaura to manage shit tho, just need to get the hang of it and have a clear UI of your ressources
The rotation isnt that bloated either and it feel pretty smooth in TWW now that all cooldowns align, coming from aff I really like the fact that I dont have to worry about dots uptime on targets, just spawn demons and they kill anything I tag, really good for world content too
The biggest problem I encounter in high M+ is the lack/weird interrupt, axe toss sometimes doesnt cut it

This patch and season is dead on arrival, nobody really cares anymore. We're reaching pure apathy.

The good news is that marvel rivals fucked the overwatch team up so hard they're actually panic making positive changes to their game for the first time in years, so hey, the company may not be a total lost cause, maybe there's a chance in the near future for the wow team to also get a fire lit under their asses and actually try to make things better now they're also hitting their rock bottom.

if you jump in the hole at 1 second, you'll die before the blast goes off, you have to jump in at 0 seconds. It goes 1, 0, and then explosion.

The biggest takeaway you can get from every version of Classic is that leveling is the entire fun part of the game and endgame is just a slog. Hardcore has proven that and I think the ideal Classic+ would basically just be extending the level cap and adding new zones/quests at all level brackets without speeding up leveling and adding more variation/freedom to it instead of just more raids

Ok another disc question
I often find myself in the following situation and would like to know what I'm supposed to be doing:
We're fighting a pack/mob/boss that I know has some major dmg event in 10-15 seconds, my shadowfiend and mind blast are off cd. I've tried sending them and then countering the other thing with rapture and mass penance but every single time it has resulted in someone dying or a wipe or at least a scrappy cringefest. So what do I do in those 10-15 seconds since I'm withholding fiend/mind blast. Do I spam smite even though it does nothing without those two other abilities active? just put renew on everyone and wait, effectively wasting 10 globals for no reason?
kinda unrelated but this makes me think of how stupid these seasonal affixes are in that they always seem to overlap other mechanics and never happen when there is "downtime" or maybe it's some sort of perception bias but I feel like whenever for example there's orbs to pop with psychic scream it's when I'm also doing 10 other things whereas when I'm in the aforementioned situation they never spawn so I can at least do something useful

I'm glad you asked! well, in this particular clip, you can see that they committed all of their cc to my teammates, thus they had nothing to use on me. they also unfortunately overlapped roar of sac and blessing of sacrifice on the hunter, when roar would have been enough, and blessing would have certainly saved the dragon. lastly, simply hiding behind a pillar would have prevented all the damage! the dragon could have taken himself and another straight to my least favorite place on an arena. they got a bit greedy and I got insanely lucky with proccing three awakening storms in 2 globals while being allowed to play the game, and more importantly, allowed to free cast with every cd (read: PI) under the sun. the ret didn't use any cc! hope this helps

Funny how it was the complete opposite before the introduction of cross-faction. BFA the Alliance where so afraid of war mode that Blizz had to BEG them with extra bonuses.

Then we got cross-faction and all the good pvpers switched to Alliance for the better racials. Now it's rare to see a single Horde even show up for a war mode crate.

One thing that would bring Horde back to pvp relevancy is adding Forsaken Paladins. Which won't happen because they would be the best pvp class and race combo in the entire game since the only thing holding back Paladins aka fear would now almost be a non issue.

The actual reality is very simple, alliance is the more popular faction and it always has been and always will be due to the very nature of the alliance being both
A) the good guys
B) the pretty faction with nice races and good looking aesthetics and architecture
The horde only became the dominant faction as time went on because horde unironically did have busted racials for a long time. Racials were made redundant many many years ago but it had created a snowball effect were over time more and more people went horde if they wanted to participate in serious raiding or serious pvp, by the time racials weren't relevant horde was already lopsided so it stayed lopsided cause everyone was locked in.
It took until cross-faction where your faction no longer mattered in group content for everyone to start returning to their natural home.

Except they do 9 times out of 10. Alliance players are dumb, but horde players are certified retards, and more funny the certified retards get literal map disadvantages like Isle of Conquest paths to the hanger. Only time I've ever see the Alliance lose consistency is in Ashran or whenever they're unfortunate enough to get offense Wintergrasp. In terms of non epic bg's, AB is the one where I see them losing the most while they pretty much always win at others.

There's a reason why the Horde pvp enjoyers call IoC as "Isle of Afk out and Requeue" since it was faster to get into a new game even with the 15 min deserter debuff than playing an entire game of IoC only to suffer a guaranteed loss in both the game and time.

Ashran takes up half the time as Isle of Conquest, maybe even less if at least one of those teams isn't full on retarded. Isle of Conquest even for the winning team (Alliance) takes like 30-40 mins to complete because even with the best weapon to take down the gates aka Hanger, it does piss poor structure damage. Plus the reinforcement numbers bug never got fixed so you can have say Horde have 100 rein left, and then suddenly it turns to 132 because fuck you.

I got 90 days of time from a giveaway I won (in the form of time cards), I've mostly been playing hardcore, but I want to give retail a try, with around 45 days left. I don't have war within.

Would it be possible to grind out currency enough to sustain my time? I'm willing to spend about 30hr/wk. I'm a full on NEET and recently sold off my runescape botfarm because it's circling the drain, and wow has been pretty fun. I don't really think botting has any value since most money seems to be in carrying people in PvE or PVP content, but I see some people recommend grinding out resources for crafting to make some money.

It "is" possible, but its so fucking hard for that to happen since MMR is a shit heap and more casual friendly then it's ever had so 5 losses get redacted almost completely with one win being either Shuffle or Solo RBG. So if you were say 1800 rating right now, you'd have to basically lose 15-20 times in a row to drop to 1400.

What I did was make one class of each faction knowing this and the race in question I know for a fact will be meta for years to come like Human, Forsaken, Dark Iron etc. Also depends which class you like most and which one tends to remain on the meta on a consistent rate. TDLR, there is a bit of hindsight to go with pvp much like mythic plus.

The real reason blitz feels so bad is from stacking abuse. People use discord bots + addons to manipulate the queue to stack premades into blitz. So if you are queueing solo (the thing blitz is SUPPOSED to be for) you are at a massive disadvantage since you are far more likely to end on a team of full randoms instead of the one with a 4 player tryhard premade.
