I got summoned by the retard again. He must have been desperate, because he ventured back to the bottom of stormveil to summon me. We work our way back to the second grace. He makes the jump skip this time, and I show him the path to get around the major barricade zone. We survive the two banished knights along the way, and finally, he gets the upper grace. Great.
So I show him the easy path to Godrick via the elevator. And as I'm about to approach the scarab by the jars, I notice it's missing. In fact, the goddamn grace by godrick is active. SOMEHOW, this mother fucker got to Godrick between sessions. How he managed that, I have no clue.
I try to show him how to open the path to the ulcerated tree spirit though. But he falls off the ledge, and goes ADHD and starts fighting the jars. So fuck it, I follow him down. Done with his shit, I just go to Godrick's door, and indicate him to enter. The intro cutscene didn't play, so it wasn't his first attempt at this.
He's down flasks. I'm down flasks. But somehow I'm surviving the fight. In fact, it's the best I've played all day. I'm thinking we might be able to take him. then, in the second phase, Godrick begins his dragonfire attack.(Not the one that happens during the phased transition, that already happened) I see it coming, and IMMEDIATELY start booking it. I'm not entirely sure how to dodge the thing. So I'm running sort of to the right and away from Godrick. But it proves not to be the right direction, as his fire cataches up to me. 1 blow stuns me, leaving me open for a 2nd blow, and I'm out. Just like that. The fight is ruined because I gambled on the wrong direction to run away from the fire. Fantastic.(I hate this game)
