in mopmix you didn't even need healers when decked out - they had a tinker that healed 3 allies for 10% of your damage, I'd just ask a couple people to slot that if we were getting blown up. what really fucked it was the shadowlands stat hardcap. you'd reach 126% in every stat after 2-3 weeks of dailies then you just had no way to progress outside mainstat. they completely ignored it as if they didn't know it existed, they even patched the cloak to accept threads past 100k so people could keep grinding, but no secondary stat threads past 38k had any effect.

you get 100 bloody token from every WQ you do in warmode, including pet battles and races.
you also get em from pvp box drops and from wm specific wqs that sometimes give several hundred.

none of these are neccessarily pvp events and you can often get a full set of gear barely fighting anyone.

I level all my alts in wm and hit 80 with ~5-7k tokens which is enough to buy half a set of purples and a weapon. Often only fighting like 5-10 people along the way, most of it is just doing WQs while flagged.

I un ironically enjoyed it cus it let me revist 100% of mops story without having to spend the time of the expansion. I skipped the first three months or so of MoP cus the trailer put me off THAT much. I kind got the sotry in bits and pieces but never wanted to go back and do it all while low powered and slow.

MoPmix let me zoom through all the storylines trivializing the combat but still doing all the things.

and yeah, a gorillion mogs and mounts, including some upressed weapons not available any other way.

the actual sets and weapons from TBC are some of the coolest in the game, if a little dated

cool, im glad theyre putting them out there for anyone to get since they were not in anyway a prestige thing just stuff you farmed that mostly people probably didnt even know were there.

like all the "high"(mid) res bows and swords and shit.
Some of them are actually nice enough to use for modern mogs.

the raids were kinda boring post-nerf. trying to scrape by them with pugs was fun at first. I spent most my time figuring out how to game zone drops and farm efficiently for the hidden appearances. the 38k mastery cap dicked it, hunter range and DH speed was hard capped relatively low.

if there's one change I'd like it's infinite caches as a bronze sink per zone. they removed tillers dailies and nerfed goats to not drop anything because froggers were farming them, realistically you just had to roll alts over and over for that zone.

I didn't make a character on MG again till late legion, when I made my technical server main, a femhuman DK, to track down an anon from the thread for screenshot stalking reasons. do weekly box quests and work up to level 8 delves and M0 dungeons/LFR if you wanna pve, turn on war mode get the sparks quest and do literally every world quest on the map + boxes + bgs if you want to do pvp and then buy bloody token gear and honor greens if you wanna do pvp.

past that you'll have to ask someone else for pve Im a pvper who basically stops pveing at normal raids and like M+5, I enjoy delves though.

Doomhammer was part of the million cuts and swerves during WoD. Gorgrond was initially supposed to be a very heavy Iron Horde zone, and Doomhammer was going to be the main Horde character for the zone that would built up to his story in Talador. But halfway through development they were getting worried about orc fatigue, so Gorgrond got reworked into what it is today with a lot more focus on elements and gronn and Doomhammer's story was cut. There was also supposed to be a lot more Yrel/Maraad content through the zone building up their relationship.

They kinda did, they dropped wod and started working on legion, legion basically had like a 4 year development cycle because they just dropped wod during the alpha and yes you're right they promised tbc 2 and dropped the ball so hard they lost 6 MILLION players in a single month.

The Danuser era wasn't really a faction bias issue so much as Danuser rapidly became narrative designer of a game he only worked a few years on prior with barely any of the original narrative staff around to guide him and he set to work on his OC cosmic storyline (which coincidentally pulled a lot from his previous work on Amalur) and the people beneath him were all 30-50 year old women who, when given no direction, just want to write about pretty elves and Danuser very obviously did not want to give any direction per all the interviews over the years. Danuser didn't care about Alliance or Horde but Horde is a specific fantasy and it was easier to just throw a billion humans and elves into his hamfisted mythological references and brainlet musings

Really hope they drop the idea of player housing being attached to neighborhoods, at least for some of the available player housing in the future. Nothing will ever be as kino as a smaller player apartment in one of the major capitals. Imagine a home in ironforge or a tower in silvermoon/suramar. I imagine it would be much faster and take considerably less resources to make an apartment in say vashj'ir than an entire instanced neighborhood outside of a capital city.

Anyway Healers can be like: Heal-sissies, or heal-thots, or heal-fags or heal-bitches or heal-sluts, but not chads. There's nothing chad about standing in the back and wiggling your fingers to make other people feel better. Healers exist to make sure other players last enough enough to blow their cooldowns.

Tanks can be chads being all big and tough and all but are also unavoidably kind of cucks because they exist to get beat up for other peoples benefit and often wind up fighting fights that other people started.
Thus making them de-facto: Chucks.

Theres been like 5 times when he should have had his throat cut for treason but instead just got to walk. Like he faced literally no consequences for siding with Sylvanas. None for betraying you the player goblin in Kezan, None for attemtping to rob and enslave grappelhammer in the gobo heritage quest. He's never the one doing anything useful and always the one causing problems like the disgusting rat he is.

Every time hes at our mercy and every time he's just not punished. He's not some "based and redpilled bro" character hes a wretched little green jew who is protected from the punishments of his crimes by arbitrary legalism and a system that protects criminals instead of victims. The idea that Thrall would ever have allowed him into the Horde as a leader is absurd, hes a cheat, a liar and a slaver, he is utterly honorless and greedy at the expense of security, alliances and the future of his own people. His fat stupid head should have been on a spike on the gate of Orgrimmar in Cataclysm.

Theres a world of difference between competition and betrayal and he has crossed that line over and over and over. Like telling you to piss off little chump is perfectly fair, Forging Grappelhammers signature on a contract that indentures him to you for eternity and transfers ownership of everything he makes to you should get you shot. And in that instance we beat him and have him at our mercy and just don't. Like he literally just makes up a bunch of shit declares someone to be his slave, attempts to enforce that with direct personal violence, when that fails advances to broad, city wide violence, and when that fails and hes at out mercy hes just gets away with it.

He should have been gassed while trapped in his mechsuit in kezan among other times. He should have been executed for helping sylvanas murder untold thousands of people horde and alliance alike in an orchestrated for-profit war. Like when the extent of her treachery came to light he should have been chopped as an accessory and enabler. But.. nothing?

and again theres NOTHING about him that redeems any of this.
He not the brilliant goblin inventor whose always saving the day.
Hes the ones who causes the problems other solve and who steals the advances of less greedy people to hoard for himself instead of improving goblinkind.

Like I said he is such a huge piece of shit that it kept me from playing goblins for years and only the opportunity to finally gank him has altered my position.
