It's pretty good, but I'd choose MW3 simply because you can use all the MW2 guns as well as all the MW3 guns. But MW2 isn't a bad game. DMZ alone was probably the most fun thing about it. Making people rage or beg for their lives. Good shit.

Let's talk Avalon. A map that appears in every BO6 mode yet it's nowhere to be found in the main course, aka Warzone.

>What's Avalon?
Following Modern Warfare's fashion, it is a made-up country meant to push certain plot points without referencing a real country. Avalon is European and inspired by France and Italy, it's where they believe Pantheon is hiding alongside their contacts such as the Luttazi family. Harrow believed she'd be taken there after her successful cradle attack, taken there to do what and why, who knows.

So far in season 2: 13 Multiplayer maps are taking place in Avalon. Some of them are closed off like Racket while others like Bounty seem to be set in a different map/part of Avalon (more on that later)

As for zombies: Citadelle Des Morts and The Tomb are set in Avalon but they don't seem to follow the main story or the general layout. Citadelle in particular has seen too many changes in comparison to its low poly LOD counterpart

While we can explore the map in spectator mode and see the general layout, other maps like Bounty appear to portray Avalon as bigger than a typical Warzone map. So many buildings and houses cluttered together that it's almost like a real city, and that version appeared in the campaign as a dream sequence.

Could Avalon be more than one map? it's possible. I think they had a vision for 1 Battleroyale map and 2 resurgence maps, all with different quirks and layouts.

The answer is unknown. People speculate that it's because Verdansk was pushed after the successful event of OG Fortnite. While others believe that Treyarch couldn't finish it on time.

I don't know how credible the BO2 rumor sequels are. After all, an anon leaked "BO2 Biohazard" 3 years ago which turned out to be the plot of BO6 minus Adler's son and 2025. But I have a suspicion that Avalon might be the campaign map alongside zombies outbreak, similar to how MW3 worked.

I feel strongly about this theory because the gap is way too short to make a BO2 sequel with futuristic assets, maps, and all. And CoD is no stranger to last-minute changes as seen in Urzikstan.

Not to say they are right in choosing Terminator 1 but the 80s were still leaking in the early 90s. The 90s in general weren't that strong, you can't pinpoint a certain style and say "oh it's giving 90s"
It's a transitional period from the 80s to 2000s and the only reason why CoD chose it is because of the Gulf War.

Agreed. They gave birth to the jetpack CoD era which was a complete skip for me. AW introduced lootboxes too if I'm not mistaken. WW2 introduced dumb as fuck mechanics like Divisions and tried to further incentivize loot boxes with that stupid hub system. Vanguard was a complete mess, nothing about that game is WW2 themed. CoD HQ was a horrible mistake. Separate all the titles, including warzone, and then you will see how the paid titles don't even account for half of the CoD playerbase on steam. Almost all of the games in the top 20 played steam games are either free, cheap, or flavor of the month. It's the same reason why CoD is in the top 20, because the majority are f2p players. Look at Battlefield and then compare that with Delta Force. With the way CoD HQ is set up right now no one knows for sure what's causing the spikes or dips, and you get idiots conflating everything and pointing fingers at the other tribe.

AW was their only decent-ish game, WW2 was fucked from the beginning until they overhauled everything due to player's feedback and that's their biggest issue. They never know what to do on their own. At least with MW2.5 Slophammer managed to keep the game alive with constant updates, plenty of events (even though many of them were ass and had slop rewards), and plenty QOL updates. Also, I didn't need to play the game 40 hours a week just to end up maxing 2 weapons while the BP is still at 24%.

Okay and with the trial concluded, I can say the game is actually still pretty fun. Like as fun as I had with the beta so I prob wouldn't have regretted my purchase had I bought it. That being said, the cod hq and fortnite'ization of the cosmetics absolutely ruin it.

FENG82 is terrible due to the low mag size and low ROF and low damage. You also take a mobility hit since it's an LMG. Basically it's just a really bad AR with no redeeming characteristics.
PPSh is OK. Consumes ammo like crazy since the damage is so low, but at least it has a high ROF.
Cypher AR is good.

The medals themselves determines that. Killing while capturing a point is rewarded with a unique medal so maybe that's why the triple kill got it. There's also stacking, you need to see a fury kill medal to make sure your best play will get featured, frenzy and ultra too of course.

So what could actually save Warzone? People are losing interest regardless, Battle Royales are losing momentum.
DMZ isn't promising, they could make a good version of DMZ but I don't trust IW to actually deliver on that.

Not sure if Rivals and Delta Force are flavors of the year, but they are going strong and filling a void that neither Overwatch and Battlefield are able to fill.
