Both can be Moxes, it doesn't matter tbf. IIRC Street Kid V was born and raised in Heywood according to dialogue which is much further south than Watson so they would have more experience with the Valentinos than the Moxes if anything, and even then V was never a member of the Valentinos like Jackie was.
Moxes are just a gang of sex workers who hate corpos, corpo V was betrayed by Arasaka so it gives them good reason to hate them.
Nomads are outcasts and ex-criminals just like the Moxes so it makes sense that Nomad V would relate to that.
6 months can do a lot to a person, and remember that V is strapped for cash in Nomad + Corpo whereas we have no indication they are in Street kid. Nomad V is gangless and is doing odd solo jobs, even the cop in the beginning comments on V having no gang riding with them. And Corpo V literally only has the money given to them by Jenkins, their bank was disabled by Arasaka and their home was taken leaving them with nothing.
V sinking so low she would join the Moxes and potentially do sex work to make some spare eddies? Not entirely unbelievable no matter what origin story you choose.

But at the end of the day, V canonically doesn't know much about the Moxes leadership, Judy, Ev, or their bad blood with the Tyger Claws at the start of the game regardless of origin, meaning that she either didn't hang around them much or is completely new to it.

A Mox V would probably only be true Mox after helping Judy out.

It's not that bad for me. It's fine 90% of the time but I get these dips that I didn't had before. No mods that should play a hand in it. Not sure what's going on neither. I've tried turning down CPU related settings in the affected areas but there's no impact. The weird thing is that performance is overall better with the latest drivers GPU wise if you ignore the weird CPU dips.
I've had some crashes during the Silverhand parts but that might be mod related. No crashes in regular gameplay. I wish I could be more useful so you could get into a playable state but I've got nothing.

The Glen one, lots of wasted empty space that, unless you are one of the cool kids won't be able to take advantage of.
The japantown one, not a lot hangout space but it's cozy.
The northside one, is hardly an apartment but the space is well utilized and you have lots of hangout space.

True, Reed even mentions that he killed two innocent people, but it's clear that Reed was just justifying what was a practically meaningless death in order to get closer to completing his mission to find So Mi. You don't ever set out to assassinate Strider, and if the relic didn't turn him into fried chicken, Strider wouldn't be dead. He would be off the FIA hook forever as Reed states.

Ngl, I'm playing on Very Hard and I'm level 15 with a stealth build. Ellis the Maelstrom Cyberpsycho was annoying as fuck to fight because some of his hits were instakills and he kept detecting me (I think he's scripted to do so). I beat him with overheat and cripple movement though and some cheap AI exploits like running around the barriers.
Pretty much the only fight in this game so far I stopped pursuing to go level/chrome up a few more times before I beat it.

That means you're GPU limited. You'll only ever get the full multiplier in CPU limited scenarios
Much better to first use DLSS upscaling to both lower the render resolution (shifts the bottleneck more towards CPU) and to increase your base framerate before frame gen

My game likes to CTD a couple times after installing mods. With tattoos for instance three seems to be the magic number, but I've already tried four or five times here. I'm on 2.13 and one of the packs was uploaded last night, so I'm guessing it's for 2.2+ and is causing the problem. Find out soon hopefully. Game takes about five minutes to boot up at this point

Speaking of Smasher, I just loaded my Hanako ending save and fought him again. Took 1 try and around 15 minutes of slashing. It wasn't easy, but still nowhere near as hard as I remember.
I can explain my subpar performance in the past by not knowing the fight, it being well past midnight and an end of a 12+ hour gaming sesh, but one thing still seems weird to me.
I distinctly remember an attack that instagibbed me. Full 300hp to unfuckable cut of dead meat in 1 frame. Melee range and occuring only after he dropped below 50% hp. I think it had a blue electric zap visual effect, but I might be misremembering.
Was it a bug? Was my IRL brain sponge having a relic malfunction moment? Am I retarded?
Does anyone else remember something like that?

Voodoo boys however are plagued by the worst interactions possible. Helplessness via cutscene. It makes the player want nothing more than to kill them all as soon as cutscene and story protections are gone.

I tried renaming the only two files I could find that had user and inputs in their names. One prevented my inputs from doing anything and wasn't remade by the game, the other was remade by the game, but didn't change anything

Guess I'm just going to have to pull my mod folders out of the install folders and reinstall

My only issue now is how fucked the economy feels, I think CDPR made it much worse with 2.0, I broke six figure eddies pretty early on, and now it just feels odd that guns cost the same as cars or apartments, the only way Id actually give a thought to money management is if I decide to buy a bunch of grey guns for extortionate prices for literally no reason (have one of most guns just from drops anyway), any mod suggestions to fix this?

Guns do cost to much, but due to the 2.0 scaling system they, they are to much money for an amount of damage that will quickly be obsolete in a few more levels. Same with weapon specs, you save a few eddies buying them, but you can only make the same weapon which will be garbage in a few more levels. And since we cant make 5++ noniconic weapon, dont bother with anything NonIconic.
tl;dr: buy the expansion and steal all of the iconics it pours on V, or spawn them in so you dont have to wait half a playthrough or longer for a decent gun.

Ngl, I just feel a lot more fragile with Sandy meanwhile you just pop Berserk and go on a rampage that only stops when everyone is dead due to endless duration as long as you keep chaining kills. With maxed out Solo skill and all core Blunt perks you can just pick up and throw any mook and 2-3 hit any elite. While Sandy is cool it is also expensive for your cyberware capacity meanwhile Biodyne Berserk is pretty cheap and allows you to fit a lot more defensive chrome. Also stamina costs being utterly irrelevant is just very nice to have.

Keep it up. I got up to lvl 17-19, can't remember exactly. Didn't do all the NCPD / cyberpsycho's but I did all the side quests. It's very immersive going slow. Dark future + addons add a lot to this. As in, forcing you to take breaks and compose yourself. The moment you start going fast and zipping from one objective to the next without a rythm, the game shows it's flaws a lot more.
It was kinda refreshing not to have Silverhand or Relic spasms the whole time neither.

Yeah I noticed that on my last playthrough, even worse that he tries to be friendly with you before heading in to Jenkins office only to lay all the blame on you later when he gets screwed the same as V. A bullet (or a few) is all he deserves.

Mostly because he had the chance to.
Remember, David was suffering from cyberpsychosis, plus he was never expecting to fight Adam Smasher, he wasn't prepared. He only wanted to save Lucy.
He was already in a weakened state after even mantling the cyberskeleton. It was a trap by Faraday and his body hadn't yet adjusted to it. It far exceeded his cyberware capacity. The cyberskeleton was experimental tech.
V however had prepared for this moment since even interacting with the Relic, Johnny had experience with Smasher because he got flatlined by him 50 years ago. Smasher in both the game and anime only ever comes out on top with characters who weren't prepared to fight him.

I do agree with some things though. In the game sandevistans are kinda weak in comparison to how they are presented in Edgerunners, and a lot of David & Smasher's power is defined by it. In the game Smasher moves slowly and predictably, it's probably done mainly for gameplay/balancing purposes but there is a disconnect. In lore however it makes perfect sense how V is able to dodge all of his attacks, land numerous hits, predict his capabilities, etc.

Mainly I think the point of the Smasher fight is to stay on your toes, keep your head in the game, and keep moving, V is able to do this while David isn't due to being slow as shit and going through rapid hallucinations.

Given that V hadn't fought Smasher at all throughout the story up until that point, definitely. Gives them knowledge of what to expect and prepare for, what chrome to buy, what weapons and abilities to bring, etc.

Smasher disappeared for numerous decades before becoming Yorinobu's bodyguard. The cyberskeleton was initially designed for him but Tanaka convinced them to use it on David. That means Arasaka probably really hasn't even been given the chance to properly enhance Smasher.

The difference is Fingers is ugly and actively gets in the way of V finding a cure and potentially fucking Judy
Wakako on the other hand is a fixer it's their job to do shitty stuff, selling people, moving shit around, V actively helps in this process multiple times, not only this Wakako helps V multiple times.

Orion will be set in a city based on the moon, likely Tycho/Copernicus.

>Edgerunners ends on the moon, meaning if they were to bring back Lucy in any capacity (possibly for Edgerunners S2) it would make sense to have her be living in a city on the moon
>2077 has supposed to have a moon DLC, but it was scrapped (likely repurposed into Orion)
Also Arasaka/Millitech mining resources on Luna could prove for an interesting cyberpunk story (think FFVII)

Thoughts? I think this is probably the best option for narrative continuity while also finding a way to write around the various things that can happen in NC during the events of 2077 and it's heavily hinted at in all recent CP media.

The extra RAM / RAM replenishment rate is super useful, especially paired with Synapse Burnout which basically makes the game play like you were opening the debug console and killing the NPCs in a single click. I think these are the ones Retro uses, there's also a crazy amount amount of tacticool gun poses in AMM, myers has a bunch, the only issue is it won't spawn whatever gun you are using atm, at least I don't know how because giving the Hover V a random one.
