Because if you introduce this across the entire board, the quantity of keys at the different levels from 2-11 will diminish and it'll be incredibly difficult for someone getting into the season a few weeks after the beginning unless they only ever run their own key.
It's why they don't let you run whatever dungeon on whatever difficulty like Delves, because people would only ever run the easiest or the one specifically they want for their loot and nothing else which would kill the season.

So what? You brick your 10, it goes down to a 9, you push it back up to a 10 and try again. That's M+ in a nutshell, it's supposed to be self-correcting difficulty but entitled gamers think they're entitled to BIS Myth track items BEFORE they get good.
Also, if your keys are consistently getting bricked by puggers, maybe that's a sign that you should be socializing and networking instead of relying on unreliable puggers.
I don't think they even should be adding depletion protection to high keys but then I'm not some MDI sperg who needs to attempt the same suicidal first pull 100 times for practice. Nothing past portal level matters, and portal level is obtainable by anyone.

the artstyle choice isn't really refined yet and I'm not happy with the faces so I'll have to tinker with some parameters on that

main downside is that most of my old loras don't work with this type, but overall this should produce higher quality results

demonsurge's damage got buffed by 40% which is huge enough for the aoe cap to no longer matter
that and sof and immo gets a bit of a buff too

basically the more damage we do, the better we survive, so it's an indirect huge buff to the spec

Not every class has a heal passive proc when you get low health and sacrifice proc for you and hand of freedom proc for you when used on someone else and have their cooldown proc their other cooldown and have their auto attack proc their crusader strike and one of their main abilities proc consecration and have their interrupt proc crusader strike. It's nuts how much of the spec plays itself for you.

Not sure what rock you've been living under but yes mages are also broken and they are comlained about all the time. Paladin and mage are both blizz's favorite pet classes.

Tbh the only thing that healer has to worry about on last boss in Ara is the poison dot.
Rest is about not standing in shit.
Like if you have dps who can dispel themselves, you don't need a healer at all because the damage is so low otherwise, even on tank, because the boss spends most of the time channeling shit, not attacking.

What helped me was to make a fresh install, not importing anything.
I play with almost everything maxed out including ray traced shadows.
Only thing I have to low is other players' spells as well as toned down particles in general, because at some point, boss will turn into a clutter of particles, PvP being even worse.

Yeah that's how I remember it.
Another thing - most people (or at least those who actually dabble into mid-end game) turn spell effects down, so you don't even get to see these effects.
So if it's supposed to be like for everyone around to see you've used warbreaker, it fails on that. Also it's not like the warbreaker is some big debuff for everyone like some damage window, so... Out of ideas to try and rationalize this change.

If you don't get anything, there's something more to it.
Are you on a fresh character? If so, how fresh is it?
Because there used to be like 3 hour delay on new demon hunters to do certain content for that exact reason.

As a hunter, the other fags in the group make me sit at farm/stables in AB all the time, (because "uhh something something hunter is defending urr" even there's nothing I can do against a rogue who isn't completely retarded), but quickly rushing lumber mill while keeping an eye on "my base" can turn the game.
Ofc it comes with some observant screeching retard screaming REPORTED REPORTED when I dare to fucking leave the spot for more than 5 seconds, but like I said, it can turn the game.
Same with light house or mine in Gilneas, watching some poor bastard struggle at 1v1 trying to take enemy starter base as the rest of the teams slap each other with their limp dicks at the Waterworks, quickly rushing over, erasing the unsuspecting defender and capping the base causes enough stir to usually win the game. Unless ofc you play with retards, who instead of splitting up and defending the two capped bases accordingly, still remain at WW, but that's a different story.

maze+ boosting is so prevalent and widespread that the cutoff for season title keeps going up because top teams are boosting title keys LMAO
They really need to pull the plug on the boosting economy, it's doing incredible harm to all parts of the game, both directly and indirectly.
Cheapens the value of achievements (why raid for weeks or months when I can buy it for 50k?)
Means terrorists get into keys who don't know what they're doing despite having a supposedly good score
Robs people of their deserved place within title ranges for m+
Every boosted arena match negatively impacts the opposing team.
Means they cant change the mythic raid lockout system without it becoming immediately commercialised, which would kill any non-hall of fame guild's motivation. Why raid for months on cutting edge content when you can buy a boost for a million gold from Echo for Cutting Edge? Right now those prices are absurdly high because they can only do it once per week. If they could commercialise and sell that as boosts like they can heroic (infinite number of times) the price would plummet and the entirety of Mythic raiding would suffer.

You get 1 guy to go into services chat, ban everyone posting in there (all of them are using level 1 or 10 characters which is against the rules).
If achievements are worth nothing, then this game is worth nothing, which means it's a complete waste of time. Which is of course true, but if you admit that then you break the brain of 99% of the players because it's an MMORPG and people for the most part play because of muh achievements. You have to uphold that illusion or else it all crumbles and the game suffers because of it.

People's heads are fucked. They don't see value in instrinsic reward anymore and they only get it from the number going up or the achievement popup on their screen. If you ask someone if they'd rather spend months struggling on a raid fight or just spend a few hundred k (barely $20), people take the path of least resistance and skip their way to success which cheapens it for everyone else.
Imagine in your head, if a part of the game offered NO reward whatsoever, how many people would continue doing it?
How many people would genuinely continue raiding every week if there was no reward whatsoever?
The rewards have to be meaningful, if they're not, then people stop, you can pretend that it doesn't matter, and it's all in your own head, but we're not playing a single player game. What other people do or don't have absolutely matters in the context of an MMORPG. Because then we're onto the topic of fairness. How is it fair that one player would spend 4 months raiding for their cutting edge, where another just skips and buys a boost? That's not 'fair'.

It literally gives DPS players some accountability for the success of a key what do you mean? There's one tank and one healer and both are expected to manage all the utility aspects of a dungeon on top of performing their base roles. DPS players don't get any punishment for not doing utility.
The dispels, the kicks, the pulls, the mitigation etc all affect the tank and healers.
Just give DPS something to be accountable for. DPS players don't even have to manage their threat any more

That one zone looks pretty fancy anon. I do also like to roleplay sometimes so having a bunch of fancy, detailed cities is really nice. I really appreciated kul'tiras for that.

NTA but Feral is like Assa rogue with DoTs out the ass, but because you're also a druid you don't really get a whole lot of synergy. You're a fourth of an Ass rogue who *could* shapeshift top be a healer or something, but you basically make yourself super vulnerable if you go out of your shape and break up your rotation.

the modern wow player gives no fucks about world building and environmental detail, this new ground mount is the devs and artists trying to have their cake (pseudo-lobby-based mmo) and eat it (intriquet open world design) and it just wont work because once you train people to treat quest windows and talking to npcs are navigating and oversized menu you can never bring them back to living in a world (of warcraft! xD)

it's funny navigating the new zones by ground even though you get 1100% air swim speed the moment you arrive, you can see where a designer cared about details and forced perspective but 99% of players will literally fly over it and then be happy they skipped time wasting bullshit

for example, the area around those giant killer bees has forests paths leading off the main road that are all marked with skull signs signifying death ahead, but you would never see cute details like this because when doing the main questline here you have no reason to land and walk around when you are not actively fighting stuff, even gathering herbs and ore is done without dismounting

frankly, the average player does not care for such details but the dev team still puts effort into making the world feel alive, at some point the devs will either stop caving to the flight screamers or they will stop caring so much about the design of their zones, i suspect the latter is coming soon because it is also cheaper to make a game as any forced perspective or detailing in a world takes a lot of dev time (money) for most people to actively want to skip past as fast as possible

It's a different game, you gotta learn each enemy spec to climb, but this comes naturally as you play. I got the elite set in 3 different seasons without any pvp addon just doing solo shuffle, it's a pain in the ass and rarely fun but it's nice to see how you learn and become better
