You used to be limited to set number of quests.
Now the quests are unlimited, probably because the game likes to force you quests you cannot decline.
They could come up with a solution, but it's probably more work than it's worth and also look at the raid frames and how fucked they are since the UI update.

... just means that quest isn't in the same zone as whatever the main "active" quest is. It has been like that since they added navigation instructions to quests in BFA or whatever, it's nothing new.

What are you talking about? Every single stream of the beta shows MDI/title rank players doing +10s and +11s in 668 gear with full tier sets wiping the second they pull more than 1, mostly 2 packs. The raid bosses all seem to have 300 mechanics as well. It's quite literally worse than season 1.

anon, I've had the same problem in blitz. I'm almost at weapons and haven't lost rating once after passing the mid 1000s - I guarantee you I was losing rating in low lobbies, and I've lost 10 matches since then easily, never dropped mmr once only gained. i think its bugged, like how they forgot to reset rating inflation in df s4. because there's no way this is right that you can only climb upwards. better abuse it while you can!

You don't lose rating until you hit 1500 no matter what, think it's been like this in Rated BGs since ever.
And even then, if you're at say 1700 and get matched with/against mostly 2000ish players, you don't lose the CR if you lose (but you lose MMR).

The boss has like three abilities you need to pay attention to - the heal, the hammers and this one cast that killed them.
It's a +10 (which at the end of the week, gets you a piece of mythic gear), so yes you need to do shit properly.

I have lost 3 matches in a row since that screenie for like a 5 straight lost streak tonight and im still at the 1779 I started with

granted, there might be a point to my rating just being "low", most of the games I join have players between 2.2 and 2.4 (and usually healer/dps grouped up) which is a way higher caliber then 1400-1600 i am usually in

either way, if i can rng luck my way on to the teams with stacks present i will prolly get enough rating for the armor set which would be neat because the last time i was over 1800 the armor sets still required 2k

look at the scoreboards that got posted, there are two ratings, one is "MMV" which takes in to account your history of pvp across all classes/specs/characters, this is what the matchmaker ACTUALLY uses to find similar skill players

"rating" the numeric number which achievements is based on is specific to your current spec season

so the person who posted this screenshot >>512118213
is considered a player of around 2.1k skill level in general, but currently has only obtained 1700 on their spec

therefor they get matched with 2k players despite feeling like they are low

you don't lose rating until your rating and MMV are equal, so in theory anon can eventually grind to 2.1k with a 10% win ration as long as his stats keep up, but more likely his MMV will start coming down until it matches his rating at which point he might slip out of 1700

minimum "rating" is 1000 and even if your mmv is that shit you cant drop below it, the reason you need 1,000 to start filling the saddle bar is a bit of an anti carry measure as the first 1,000 of a season isnt real, but performance in the matches that take you there will contribute to MMV. this keepsgood players from tanking their rating on purpose (for the most part) so they dont just stomp newbs full time

So Anduin has been gone for like 7 years in lore at this point. I'm assuming that at some point he'll roll back into Stormwind and retake his position. How are people in story going to be ok with this? He's just going to show back up after however many years with his not human cripple wife and because plot armor people are just going to be like "Nah dawg it's all good." The Alliance needs a real shakeup at this point but I don't think Blizz has the guts to do it. I just want to be the bad guy for a little bit, even if it's just for a patch.

WoW almost always operates with the logic that when a leader leaves, the country/organization they're a part of just sort of freezes in time until they come back. i came back to wow month ago and lvled in dungeons. i have been lvl 80 for 5 or so weeks and i struggle to get past ilvl 590 i spamed heroic dungeons and got most gear to 580 ilvl and ever since i tried quing for mythic dungeons or those +2 dungeons but no one invites me. How is community so bad? how am i supposed to gear up. I see some reputation awards but i cant find any world quests or dailys that give rep. map is empty. i assume they got rid of those quests. I am thinking of quiting. this isnt fun at all.

Torghast was superior in this regard, all you do is kill enemies and collect powers. Their only mistake was making it not drop gear directly, you did it for your legendary dust and nothing else. If Torghast had dropped 1 piece of Heroic raid equivalent gear per week it would've been heralded as the greatest addition to the game ever by casuals and hardcores alike.

you're right but buffing mob health doesnt make it suddenly fun, when 5 min runs turned into 15-20m runs everyone just stopped doing it (but it was also normal piece of loot too so that didnt help).

Even Legion didn't have this much bloat. It's just modifier after modifier, the actual spell is hidden behind 7 different + whatever effects. It all needs stripping back to the barebones and rebuilt as needed.
Utility needs to be cut back, there's far too many aoe stuns, stops.
Defensives need to be cut back, as a Hunter I have 5, arguably up to 8 active defensive buttons. 2 charges of a huge % DR, a heal which has CDR built into it, an immunity, a last stand and then healthstones/healthpots/more healthpots if I opt for instead of a dps pot. There are classes with even more powerful defensives.
That's only the active defensives, all the talent trees are littered with +% armor, +% damage reduced etc.
It's way too much and is part of why healing is a mess right now and pve damage is so bursty
There's also movement speed bloat. Warriors have 3 charges and 2 heroic leaps and then bonus speed on killing enemies. Why? That's not even the worst offender, but in general there's way too much movement speed and ability to zip around fast.

Preservation is fun, you have to memorize a few combos to do big heals (VE TA Dreambreath and TA VE Spiritbloom will get you through 99% of situations), does decent frontloaded damage, is quite good at reactive healing because of Golden Hour (basically a mini Death Strike when you apply your HOT, very strong when Echo'd). The limited range is absolute ass on certain fights or if you have ranged DPS who think they're the protagonist and stand a mile away from everyone else. Rescue is funny as fuck for trolling your friends but can also save lives. I'd recommend using macros for Rescue because it's awkward as fuck by default.

Stasis is absolutely GODLIKE and arguably their best spell if you optimize it.

Don't have much experience with Dev or Aug. Dev is like the Havoc of ranged specs, does BIG damage up front with a simple combo and then does nothing for 30 seconds while waiting for CDs. They have to do really annoying clipping stuff on Disintegrate so I lost interest.
The mog options suck, you pretty much only see your weapon and shoulders, the rest is set at the barber shop.

They had weekly lockouts for all of Legion, BFA, SL and DF and nobody even noticed. They've only been daily lockouts for TWW S1 and I don't think it increased anybody's desire to do M0. the healing conversion ratio is still higher on disc
idk about paladin but ancient teachings healing is split to 5 targets so the healing mostly amounts to maintenance healing, its good on rot damage but not enough to deal with damage patterns

disc still has power infusion which is arguably more competitive compared to having brez, auras or mystic touch

You absolutely have to be using mobility to deal damage, and it's an unfun gimmick. I want to eye beam blade dance and shred packs up, but that doesnt do any fucking damage until I do 7 backflips, a spin, 4 fel rushes and press another 4 modifiers whilst reciting scripture to make it do anything.

Not entirely true, I dunno the exact formula but if 4 people are on full HP the 1 hurt person will receive more healing from Ancient Teachings. With the new Jade Empowerment if you have multiple enemies and only the tank is hurt you can giga funnel infinite HP into him with CJL.

Yeah true but that's not what you said initially. I enjoy using FR/VR for damage but I can see why it filters retards with zero spacial awareness. It's the only unique thing about Havoc and if they got rid of it I might as well reroll Rogue or Ret or Enh or literally any other melee spec that just stands still.

Because my personal complaint would not exist if there is a build that doesnt utilise those retarded mobility use modifiers and lets me have a more legion-esque playstyle. I'll play it if it's up to 4-5% worse.

disc can do similarly but they have to spend like 3 gcds and line up like 6 different buffs to boost their ramp

i think in 11.2 theyre going to recieve a rework to cut down on the ramp and streamline their set up

Dunno the exact numbers but it's about 2% weaker in raid and much weaker than that in M+.
You can play whatever scuffed build you want but the movement stuff is the only thing unique to Havoc, if it's so offputting just play a different melee spec.
Also worth mentioning that Intertia is being reworked next patch so instead of pressing Immolation Aura -> Fel Rush you can press Vengeful Retreat -> Felblade and get the same buff. Personally I think it's a HUGE nerf because it reduces the value of AFI which has a bunch of other implications, but if you find Fel Rushing into walls disorienting then you might find this to be an improvement since you don't need to adjust your camera at all.

And this is why I play Mistweaver instead of Disc. Disc healing without Squid or Rift feels incredibly weak but you also don't want to sit on those buttons for too long because your DPS outside of them is shit too. It depends way too much on having perfect timing.

Done correctly, at least a vague ongoing faction war is the ideal state of WoW. I shouldn't be walking around Dorn and fucking orc grunts are showing up as having a green id box. I'm alliance for a reason and it is our natural state to be murdering each other. I resent the fact that the factions are all mashed together and we're supposed to be great friends now. Our leadership is seriously lacking.

Modern WoW characters don't believe in anything or want for anything. They're all identical blank slates wheeled out to save the world from threats that also don't believe in anything but "I want the Worldsoul" which is meaningless. You got rid of the factions and surprise, you now have a turboslop boring fantasy setting where every character acts like they're being pulled out of retirement to be there

there isnt any combination of tabard colours/icons that is offensive really so it wouldnt be a problem for the mass market

Right now it's an all or nothing thing.
You can toggle 'share game data' which will make ALL your characters appear on ANY third party website which wants to see them, and link them together.
I personally believe this should be handled on a website by website basis. It should work like discord perms, where I give raider.io, or warcraftlogs, or checkpvp specifically access to my account data directly.

Right now if you were being turbo-stalked your only option is to being severely hampered when trying to play the pve game properly because the reliance on WCL/RIO is vital to success in that part of the game.

If it's a crafting prof all you can do is spam patron orders. If it's a gathering prof there are tons of catchup items (null sliver, deepgrove roots etc) but there's diminishing returns per day, the first 5 or so items per day will drop WAY faster than the rest.
