Let me tell you, the only time I got top 8 at Evo was when I went in with 0 expectations for myself. I just played the game, got lucky in pools, and then I found myself on stage on the main stream vs a sponsored player.
If you can't let go of your delusions, that's okay. Play Marvel Rivals where losing and winning feel basically the same. Or play a gacha where you can't lose, you just farm gems to pull the newest character. You don't need to play fighting games, they're shit anyway in 2025.
