Is WINGDEER HAIR COLLECTION needed, it has more downloads than some of the "required" mods on nexus?

If so, which of the files do I need? There are like 600 main files, anyway to grab them all in one shot? Don't see the option to grab it through Vortex. (Think I'd like to have it anyway if I don't have to click download 1800 fucking times).

Oh I got that one hehe. Resolve is great, it's more of a replacement for Premiere than After Effects though, and it was one single take so I didn't have to do much cutting so I just did everything in AE. Honestly I was gonna do more graphics but apparently I'm a scrub and underestimated the amount of time I would spend wrestling with Adobe enjoying my 4K 120fps footage. LegsV headpats.

Use full auto guns to overwhelm their reflexes and get some shots in

Also check out damage scaling mod, you can adjust damage values on the fly for troublesome encounters

DLSS 4 made me start a new game with how good it looks. My previous playthrough I played at 80fps with DLSS Quality, and now I get 100fps with DLSS Balanced @4k res, and it looks better than old Quality too.

for me, dlss 4 was such a major improvement over 3.8, it's almost as good as native to me now. i do run the game max settings with pt and 2k texture mods, LOD increase mods as well as other crap. i get less fps on dlss quality than i did before but lowering it to dlss performance, it's now more fps still better image quality

I think personally regular DLSS already looked pretty ok but the new transformer model really improved the fuck out of DLSS ray reconstruction, which you would probably only use with pathtracing. This might explain some of the differing opinions

Nigha just copy paste your stable install folder, then update the core mods and go from there, you'll get a nice detailed error for any broken mods if any, check those for updates then youre good to go

We will have data in a few weeks but a $550 5070 might have the potential to run Cyberpunk at 4k, ultra settings with max RT, DLSS4 on. If not, 2x-4x frame gen should definitely shoot it up past 144 and 250fps. 2x-4x you'll be getting 30-50ms of input delay, but Reflex 2 is supposed to cut down by 75%.

I appreciated this, because in the base game the only one that comes across as an existential threat is Arasaka while the rest of them just seem/sound like gangoons in fancy suits. Learning about the Cynosure stuff (plus Songbird being a walking cyber-nuke thanks to Militech hardware) gave a much better impression.

Agreed. Coming from all the fallouts and other gameplay-oriented games, this one truly feels next-gen when it comes to portraying movie-tier emotions. Only so much can be done with just text and a background song. The motion-tracking, eye contact and top tier voice acting really brings it alive.

judy questline,panam questline,river questline... basically every main/important character in the game gets a major emotional payoff at some point. almost no other games have this with cyberpunk's level of detail.

This game had a LOT of potential but to this day it feels like a ruined orgasm. Technically it's much improved, but as far as the quests goes, you can smell the cut corners everywhere. And not for a lack of time, they had years, it was mismanagement at all levels.

It won't make people happy but if they must, they should narrow the scope of the game for Orion.
Remove the looter shooter mechanics. Stop going overboard on the streetkid shit nobody cares about. Stop implementing so much cyberware that won't ever be used because the better looking tier 5 gear is so much better. Make the map smaller so you can refine the AI and questing a bit more. Stop adding so many different variants of the same exact items with boosted stats.

The game would be so good if they stopped trying to appeal to Borderlands/Fallout/TES/looter shooter fans and tried to hone in more on Deus Ex/RPG fans because that's where the universe really shines. Nobody cares about collecting Tier 5 hacks or a legendary gun, we just want to play a roleplaying game in the universe that's been established. When people play a netrunner, they don't do it to collect stupid resources, they do it because they want to rewire a turret or something or unleash an EMP on a crowd of enemies.
The game has so many great ideas but just suffers from excessive feature creep that undermines many aspects of the game.
Just stop trying to compete with GTA/Elder Scrolls and start doing what the fanbase wants you to do.

im sacrificing 2 RAM and a 20% smaller targeting reticle from the regular one but lock speed is the biggest bottleneck of smartguns so id rather have that.

this is an ashura with 0.95 sec base lock speed so i think with this implant it should be ~0.75

Just installed 2.2 and testing out DLSS4.
DLSS4 Ultra Performance at 4K looks sharper than Quality DLSS3, while also netting a huuuuuge performance boost on my humble 4070.
I might end up changing it back soon but it certainly helps with ray tracing in demanding areas like Dogtown.

If you're playing at 4K, you'll probably get way more performance playing on performance mode with very little hit to visual fidelity.
Performance mode still upscales from a playable res (1080p) at 4K, it does not with any other base resolution.

Not a single card runs this game well at optimal visual fidelity. Even the 5090 gets like 27fps native 4K with path tracing. This game, 5 years later, is still more demanding on latest cards than Crysis was back in 2012.
This game is the future: fake frames, fake resolutions, fake antialiasing.
It's cool in small capacities but there's no denying this game is optimized terribly so it makes a perfect foundation for Nvidia's latest gimmicks.

I don't expect the 5070 to run this game well without relying on framegen technology, which isn't optimal. I had to turn off framegen on my 4070 because I didn't like the artifacts, now imagine the artifacts multiplied by 4+ which is what the new framegen is doing.

It's not framegen that does that, you're thinking more of upscaling, which is another separate function of DLSS. The blurriness in the upscaler was improved greatly by this latest update because it adds the transformer model which is superior to the old CNN one.
What framegen introduces is input lag and artifacts within motion, it doesn't matter in still frames AFAIK.
Your real frames dictates your actual input lag, so if you're playing at fake 60 from real 30 its gonna feel like wading through a tar pit.
And the lower the fps, the more artifacting you get. So if you're playing at anything below at least 90fps then prepare to see a lot of weird warping and AI hallucinations.
The game suggests to use it only at a stable 60fps, but even using it at that introduces a lot of artifacting that shouldn't be there. I honestly don't recommend it at anything below 90fps.

What's interesting is that the multi-framegen introduced with the 5000 series supposedly is a completely different ballgame to the current one we have on 4000 series cards. NVIDIA is marketing it as turning a 5070 into a card with 4090 level performance with three frames for every one, but that probably comes with a huge list of drawbacks if DLSS4 framegen isn't a massive improvement over our current one.

The issue is that so many games will rely on DLSS for optimization, and native still provides the smoothest visual clarity with just DLAA enabled (DLSS AA). Admittedly, Ultra Quality/Quality/Balanced don't give much of a visual hit at 4K but they do at 1440p and 1080p.
The fear is that soon enough even 4090s will be playing games on ultra performance (renders from 720p at 4K) which is basically console-tier.
The tech shouldn't be used a crutch for bad optimization, just as a compromise for the players.

It absolutely should be separate from real optimization, are you aware of just how many concessions we'd have to make if we completely relied on DLSS?
People want real 4K, not 720p upscaled to 4K. People want the fluidity of 120 fps, not the fluidity of 60fps with some slightly faster refresh times. If you don't understand this, then perhaps you are the poorfag, or just completely out of your depth in this discussion.
This would be an acceptable philosophy towards game optimization for a console, but not for a PC containing the fastest consumer-grade card.
Even Nvidia practically admits that relying on DLSS is a bad idea, the game has to run well enough so that the game can gather enough good sample data to make clear accurate results. If the game can't even run well enough to upscale from a resolution close to the targeted res, then the image quality is degraded. This fucks over 4K hard, and DLSS isn't even particularly great on 1440p/1080p either.

So reflections have gotten a bit sticky, as the reflected face doesn't always change when different expressions are selected. Sometimes looking away will help like with the low-res ads, but sometimes not. This happened on both DLSS Ultra Performance and Quality settings. I forget whether V is using charm or satisfaction here, but the reflection is still showing the neutral face.

You're a retard if you genuinely think this. DLSS is "optimization" in the same way lower settings are (because it is a setting). The expectation that most people have of a $2000+ card is that it will be able to run a game at the optimal settings as of release, not in 5-10 years when nobody cares about the game anymore. Native 4K (with DLAA) is the gold standard right now and DLSS upscaling is an inferior compromise to that, which would've been accepted on a xx70 series card or even an xx80 series card, but definitely not a xx90 series card.
DLSS is not being used as a tool to enhance the experience for consumers, but to cut costs. The biggest bomb in software history (Windows Vista) happened because businesses couldn't run the OS that was meant to be run on their machines.

We literally all know this, but you're missing the point. Both use resolution optimizations to make up for dips in performance, consoles used this to make up for poorly optimized areas. DLSS is very much used in the exact same cases and it even has functionality and implementation to work alongside dynamic res if you choose to enable that option.

Cyberpunk is 2020 game. It's 5 years old, and it even runs terribly with PT on 5090s.

I have an issue where using the pale files leaves my arms brown and low res, vanilla tone works fine, tried both with the small breast VTK body

I've tried load ordering, deleting custom arm cyberware, using arm files from the new VTK HD, tried without those files and different combinations, all turn out the same with brown low res arms

To be fair, you can run basically anything at 4K on a $600 card these days. Just use optimized settings. You absolutely don't need path tracing or anything crazy like that. There's a reason old games look better than new games at native 4K. The most expensive part of a good 4K setup is the monitor.

Do the same with mainstream news, financial news, passively observed from a detached pov and watch what happens with financial charts when certain kind of news breaks, its even fun to watch how shills behave on /v/ for example, alot of the time it is legit market manipulation stuff. do this over the period of a year or two as you get comfortable in your knowledge and save a pot of money to start investing with.

I barely even notice RT unless it's PT, and PT is a killer on all cards.
1440p is a poorfag or retardfag resolution now, all the shitty gimmicks are mainly optimized for it thanks to consoles using 1440p as target res.
4K is superior for DLSS due to larger array of sample data to choose from and also just generally looks smoother than any other res. Plus it's my native res and I hate making compromises.
Game looks better at 4K than 1440p RT.

you'll see it happen if you drive a Delamain or the Jefferson style cars. i think its a result of the road collision not being as smooth as it needs to be and maybe updating some collision detection to slowly, so some of the cars clip into the ground and by the time the game realizes, its to deep, divides by zero, and youre on the moon.

you can get a feel for it on the sharp inclined turns around Kerry's area. Especially if you are driving fast with a Caliburn. the road might look smooth, but the cars wheels will look like they are driving down steps.

i only started seeing that one after a few downgrade patches so consoles could play the game. my guess is as you move around, the level unloads around you before it unloads the vehicles. So if you move East and unload a Western road, then move West quickly and reload it, some of the cars might get caught in a freshly spawned road before they can fall, despawn, or get replaced. You'll notice multiple cars on top of each other sometimes, i think because the game has a sense of where things should be at any given time. You might also notice it if you were wandering around a mission for a bit, constantly unloading and reloading the streets around a gig.
