druid is very fun to lvl you have a lot of buttons to press + forms bottons + keeping track of mana + energy + HoTs + stealth it's very engaging to lvl especially in vanilla standards
HoTs are dogshit cancer in vanilla though when you're at the end game, same like DoTs

I'm looking for an old post of mine but the archive seems to be down.
The post contains a link to a zip file on catbox (or mixtape), it was my addons collection and action bars settings. I think it was posted around 2019 or late 2018, there was a screenshot that shows my interface attached to the post, I was on my pally char. By any chance did anyone bookmark it? I thought I did but can't find it in my bookmarks. I had to uninstall wow because I needed space, now I'd like to get back into wow but I really need those addons and settings. It was a lot of stuff, collected over the course of many years.

Actually I only played up to Cata and didn't like it so I went back to 3.3.5a on Russian servers, that's what I was playing at the time. Though Classic didn't exist yet, now I'd like to try out the progressive servers and get a chance to play those expansions I overlooked.

The #1 factor for private servers is perceived population as players don’t want to invest in a server that might be dead in a month. As other anons said Warmane fakes their population numbers in order to attract real players(and to sell $10 queue skips for queues they artificially create). This does actually work very well as Warmane servers do draw a lot of players but the population is nothing as it actually appears.
Everyone knows they do it but private servers are known got way scummier things than faking populations so it’s basically just a lesser of 2 evils.

Found the long lost 3.3.5a addons folder dated January 2020. 80MB of crap including the super duper cooler long top-bar thingy whatever it was called (broker? whatever).
Can't find the interface and hotbars settings backup file yet sadly. I remember it being a pain in the ass to configure all addons from scratch.

PvP servers are Horde majority and PvE servers are Alliance majority. Every Paladin and Shaman spec is extremely good.

Personally I was looking forward to Arthas' arc the most because I loved wc3 tft a lot. Vanilla was ok since it was all new and exciting, tbc was comfy but not interesting story-wise, I really hated the Illidan arc in wc3 because I failed that mission a lot.

Unironically sell Swiftness pots, you can very easily get the recipe in Uldaman, the drop rate is pretty good and the mobs easy to solo.
There's at most 2-3 people with this recipe on each realm and they don't always put the pot up on auction. They easily go for 100 gold each in some realms.

My problem with the post-cata old world was just that you leveled too fast to even come close to finishing a zones storyline, I actually liked that most zones had a cohesive storyline to quest through but you just tended to outlevel the content too quickly
Funny thing is current retail actually fixed that somewhat with the level scaling so you could level almost to cap in the old world if you wanted

Basically post classic pvp barely exists for most players. You have to form a team rather than be randomly assigned and get yelled at or ghosted by randoms so like 99% of players never bother except to get boosted to buy gear and BGs are trash. Classic PVP indeed has some interest but it's ridiculously casual, no skill based matchmaking etc.

All specs are fairly balanced, some are super in-demand depending on faction. If you're alliance, feral druid gets an instant inv to anything and everything. Warlock is the second most in-demand class because of the buffs/debuffs they bring.
You're progression will be

This shit has always been there but the 2019 classic community had the benefit of having an abundance of casual normies who didn't go hard from day 1 to maximize every minute of gameplay. The minmaxers HRing every BIS item and all orbs were there you could just avoid them more easily. Now anniversary servers lack those casual normies so you're just left with the minmaxing sweats who dont have time to allow you to roll on any of their BIS loot because they need to raidlog/afk in AV ASAP. Anniversary servers have hopefully been a huge blackpill for a large amount of people that getting fresh every few years is a horrible idea because it only attracts sweaty junkies who have already mapped out their entire character progression from lvl 1 to KT.

Ive even asked my guild for help with elite quests or even just leveling dungeon groups and I've been told to "just use LFG" or "buy a boost" because god forbid these people do anything other than raidlog or afk in AV every day I guess

A lot more players just use leveling addons such as RestedXP now so they just avoid spellcleave entirely as unless you have a good dedicated group its better to just continue questing with the optimized route set by the guide.
