Dismanteling my battlestation

No.511592585 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Decided to never put my hands on anything else than handheld devices and I never play videogames with friends who don't posses a handheld.

> Non of the consoles or emulators on big screen have been satisfying to me lately
> I'm a hardcore phonegamer and my hands are getting used to touch and my eyes to smaller screens
> Tech specs differences become smaller and smaller
> You can carry that shit everywhere you want
> In (LAN) groups its absolutely ways better to join friend servers with 6, 12, 24 guys individually on their devices like a LAN party. Letting some other guys join from around the world, its all possible
> I prever handhelds over Laptops, Tablets, any other device and high end computers don't impress me either
> I'm done with all the trouble when you go Emu: important buttons on native hardware/controllers dont work, framerate always sucks even as quality, loads of games don't work on normal settings (takes hours of figuring out)
> I'm done with aways figuring out my PC/lap gets slower and streaming everything from platforms like steam also eats Gigabites
> Spend hours upon hours to fix shit good and download it etc, etc
> I made my descision: 2025 I'm slowly dismanteling my battlestation and all the hardware
> I go 100% handheld:

Nintendo Switch 2, Steam deck, Lenovo Legion, samsung galaxy S25, and that's it.

Im done with computer gaming and all the headache it gives to fix shit.
