It's visual bile with the worst art direction (or lack of) that I've seen in ages. 50% of the maps are straight up iredeemably awful and only 3 ir 4 are arguably any good. Omni-control carries it. It's the best thing for rushing and camping too. Plus we have more than 2(two) good guns at launch(unlike MW). The anti-shipment maps like Babylon, Derelict and Subsonic are great.
SBMM doesn't matter. BO6 doesn't have real problems, except the PC version with cheats

After you shadowban someone five times for "cheating" and never once take action against the account (because, upon investigation, they are not in fact cheating) shouldn't you at some point flag the account with, if not a 'whitelist' flag, at least something that says it should take more reporting than normal to take action against this account? Rather than the opposite sort of flag, which is what my account seems to have now.

It doesnt even make any sense why you have to cock your gun. The game never tracks one in the chamber and gives you extra bullets whereas all the games before it’s assumed you have one in the chamber always so you can just reload cancel and keep firing. You can literally fire one bullet, reload, and instead of shooting 31 times before cocking your gun you can only shoot 30 and you need to watch a stupid fucking long gun cock you cant cancel.

however the time saved is negligible since even spamming weapon swap still has a small delay with fast hands.

Depends on what you are asking. You can cancel the animation to get back to your prior bullet count if you need to get into a gun fight immediately. You either activate your sprint or double tap your weapon swap to cancel the animation. Which you use is up to preference but can also depend on the situation.

If you do either at a specific moment in the reload process you can also shortcut the reload animation and go from empty to full faster. However this requires you to activate sprint or weapon swap immediately when your mag count shows full. In older CoD's there were larger time discrepancies between when the animation finished and when the game had registered your magazine was full. These days the time difference is not nearly as dramatic so its less useful to reload cancel to speed up recharging the mag and it's benefit now is mostly just to get into a fight you didn't expect.

The half animation its talking about in the steam thread is describing the time difference between animation and game registration. For example the animation might have lasted 5 seconds but it only takes the game 3 seconds to tell the server your gun is full

I need some whistleblower from inside Activision to come out and reveal that there's almost no human moderation work being done anymore and it's 99% automated. Because there's no way that this isn't the case, given the state of rampant cheating (as well as false suspensions for cheating!) plaguing the game. Remember when they debuted AI voice detection moderation systems and then a year later the layoffs started? There's no way that they're still paying more than a tiny handful of human beings to actually review cases. (And I wonder if the few human beings who remain are from India.)

Obviously he acknowledged that they say it makes no difference, but he insists their system is broken. (I know from experience that the teams who put out statements about how the game systems work are not devs themselves, don't always have good communications with the devs, and are often not aware if something is actually broken—it's not unusual to get a firm statement that just happens to be completely false)

I'm leaning toward believing it because when I got shadowbanned a couple of days ago there was only one guy on the enemy team who was accusing me of cheating, and he was bragging about his "87% success rate banning cheaters" with a confidence that seemed insupportable.

It would be hilarious if this turned out to be true. Given how generally broken so much of the MW2/3 user interface is, would it even be surprising?

Even when I'm trying to play more reserved because of no respawn, I'm still getting clapped. Am I just not finding a balance of gameplay for myself? Feels different than old cod snd. Maybe it's the switching sides every round that's throwing off my strategy

In the beta, they essentially made aim assist turn off if your target was within a certain distance of you depending on the weapon
This most notably entirely removed the controller only camera breaking tech, and so controller kangs staged fiery but mostly peaceful protests chimped the fuck out until the nerf was basically reverted.

Are you talking about battlepass tokens? MP is trash when it comes to grinding any sort of levels, you get very little score per match. Zombies will always be faster. And plunder if that's still a thing.

it all depends on the downtime between actually playing
waiting for a multiplayer match does not count toward your next token, you have to be actually playing to earn them
that's why zombies is the best for grinding the BP because you can play continuously with far less downtime

Something far more serious than that is the TOTAL DEATH of LMGs. It's a dead concept in COD (unlike irl paradoxically enough). They've been made completely useless whether in mp or zombies unless you're emptying your mag in a straight line on Stakeout.
