It's a BR3 map so it is available to everyone.

technically some of the oldest guns in the game are TT guns
fedorov, 1903, m1917, no1mk3, gewehr 98, the 1891 carcano, I think a lot of the endgame guns are ironically prewar guns to boot, like 90% of japan's arsenal and most machine guns

Honestly, if BR1 can't match with BR3 anymore, then wouldn't it make sense to rebalance some of the maps? There are a few that feel nearly pointless for BR1 players if they're locked out of those matchups.

I would strip Univermag from the map list if I could, it's abysmal. I cannot comprehend how somebody could pretend to enjoy it. Stalingrad is such shit in general but WOW, fucking Univermag. Fallen Fighters Square may be the second worst capture point in the game, after the caldera on Quarry. It's Pacific levels of terrible. And I KEEP FUCKING GETTING IT.

The Type 99s are basically just Mosins. The Mosin rifle and Mosin carbines are fine but they can't really compete with the powerhouses of their BR.

Eh, they're fine. I really like the sights on the Mosin rifle/carbines (excluding the M1907) and the Kar 98k. The sights on the Type 99s are a bit too thick around the aperture.

The urban part of Rzhev would also work well, as would the monastery in Moscow and the tractor factory in Stalingrad and the river/church/rail yard section of the new Bulge map. The cave section of New Georgia might be OK, but if they did it with Gavutu and/or Kahif it would easily be the worst pair of maps in the game.

Is the browning 1928 german squad worth it? It looks like it only has 4 machine gunners which seems a bit ass compared to a 7 man mg squad with 34s.

I don't have them myself, but they should the ability to add a non-premium engineer and AT trooper to the squad.
It's probably a decent BR3 squad but it's no drum MG-13 or MP-41(r) squad.

To give the Chauchat some kind of niche, it should have its hipfire and moving accuracy massively increased. The V-B gained a niche because of its bug (?) of basically trading DPS/killing power for being able to use it as a shitty autorifle. The Chauchat would benefit hugely from something similar without becoming OP. The gun's intended use IRL WAS for walking fire, after all.

Shouldn't you be using the K-4 or D-12 regardless? The Ju-188 isn't what I would call the crème de la crème of bombing vehicles. The bomb payload is nice but it's not really maneuverable enough to get the most out of it on most maps compared to using the cannons on the D-12 for gunCAS, along with the bombs that plane has.

The Wz. 1928 is fine. It's a BAR. Totally redundant squad compared to the absolute powerhouse that is the MG 13 (drum) squad, of course. The squad has really nothing interesting going for it as the Wz. 1928 is one of the weaker BARs, and the squad can't get vitality. You really are better off getting FN 1930s or something, even though that gun has its own issues, it's still arguably the best BAR in the game once you get used to using it, and it opens up a new playstyle for the Germans.

The Polish BAR is a redundant, old-style squad from back in the Normandy days where getting a fully upgraded MG squad as any faction could take days and days of grinding.

You just can't make a gun with a rate of fire that low play well. If you run into someone using Vitality while you are using it, you are just totally fucked. It's kinda like the MKb 35 in that way, or the Grease Guns, where the TTK is so fucking slow against certain targets that you can die to their bots doing a sick 180 headshot before you kill your first enemy.

Darkflow have given guns with kinda crappy TTKs (the MKbs, for example) really high hipfire accuracy, so I don't get why the Chauchat can't have it as well, which would also emphasise its intended use IRL.

That's just how the 190 is in Dagor. It has ALWAYS been this way, and I haven't thought about it in years, but it MAY be related to how the Instructor works, the Instructor being the fly-by-wire autopilot that War Thunder and Enlisted use to make planes actually flyable without a VR setup or something. This seriously goes back over a decade.

I disagree, if it had a less jerky recoil impulse while ADS it would be very playable, especially at range, as illustrated by it being pretty decent when mounted. unmounted you have to try to fire it in semi to be useful which lowers the RoF even further as you have to put extra effort into not squeezing off multiple shots on accident and dragging the sights all over the screen. it needs extra damage or a more consistent recoil impulse to be anything other than a novelty IMO. lower hipfire spread would be nice but wouldnt be enough of a buff in my estimation

Going sniper in this situation is also frustrating because, even if the enemy team sucks, they are ALL sniping, and revealing yourself for more than 2-3 seconds results in 6+ guns being pointed at you. I like Burma but man, so many Pacific maps are unplayable. Their design just invites sniping and camping. As for the buildings, yeah, blame the M13. At release, matches would start and M13s would be able to wipe an entire team from across the map by sweeping their .50 cals across the treeline. It was funny how people said it was, actually, totally cool and fair and you just had to git le gud, then HMGs got absurdly nerfed.

You could do the same thing in Moscow with the DShK, too. Get one up in the first 30 seconds and hose into the wooden buildings for an instant 30+ kills. The MG 131 was less viable for this because of its shit accuracy.

But I still have too many choices though ghost and the winter skins appeal the most but I never use those vehicles. I do use the Bf 110G and the Pz3N but do I want a duplicate of them when I have the 3* versions already and just hope you are right about turning into skins. Is thewre any evidence of this?

Getting 30 structure uses as an attacker is extremely obnoxious unless you are against an enemy team that has unattended, non-greyzone rallies you can build wire on that your team doesn't immediately destroy. Yeah, I have had bots go on killing sprees, getting 5+ kills on groups of enemies they would normally ignore. I'd say that now you have to lean around corners and play super cautiously but that doesn't help because they prefire you and hear you coming. You have to keep your distance AND lean and out of corners.

Also, man, I love the Pavesi M42. The Scotti is easier to use but the damage on the Pavesi is so nice. Having a full Rifleman III squad of Pavesi M42s and Scottis would be nice, but the utility of spreading them out is way too valuable.

The last one is pretty big because console games basically play themselves now. Autoaim in FPS games has gotten so bad that PC players in CoD, Halo and Apex Legends play with a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard because it basically makes the game play itself. Enlisted's auto-aim is very old-school in the sense that it's more like how auto-aim was in the 2000s-era CoDs where you get one "snap" and very light magnetism when you ADS.

60 and below is unplayable for me. Above 90 becomes reasonably tolerable and above 120 at least is ideal. At 240fps the ufo clear and appears like a static jpg despite motion. At 120 it's not jittery but still blurry with movement. There are diminishing returns but higher frame rate is definitely worth it and noticeable better.

Killing a Tiger II (H) that's sitting on a dune at an angle with a Panzershreck would be more or less impossible. "Just bomb it" has NEVER been a viable strategy for dealing with tanks, because it effectively becomes your sole purpose in the match while the tank continues shelling points and having more effect, and in the time it takes for you to rearm, another tank can spawn and get 20+ kills.

I really don't see how this is any different in low BR and if you can't hit bridges with your bombs you're probably a club foot inbred. I've regularly hit taken out tigers from across the map with the panzerschreck and panzerfaust. I would imagine the allies M18 would be far more annoying to deal with than a Tiger 2 on those maps as well.

engi squads can build AA guns, AT guns, and MG nests. the MG nests in particular are pretty nice at low tier since I think it's exclusive to engineer 2

hitting them isnt the problem knucklehead, getting a good effect on target is. the bridges on tunisia are notoriously finicky to get a good hit on because of the narrow target and the way elevation change affects the bomb damage pattern in this game, even with a dead on hit the tanker can move 10 ft and dodge the entire blast cone. the point being it isnt mindless or "easily done" and requires actual skill and more importantly time spent setting up a proper attack run unlike most bombing, which is all time the heavy armor is skullfucking your team while you fly around with your dick in your hand

They also all had accuracy issues. The Type Otsu being so bad it gor rejected outright and the Type Ko and Hei spending about a decade being reworked before both being adopted but never produced because lol no money for a rifle.

The Type Ko is a Clone of Pedersen's Turner Rifle which the British trialed for a bit and later was showed to the Japs. The Type Otsu is just a clone of the Zh-29 which was also trialed by the British.

Having 1 of those tasks isn't that bad because I normally play 3-4 matches of Enlisted after or before work, but having two is just a pain. The 50% task is always a laugh because you can score like 2-3k points quickly in a tank and quit, and the match will end in 10-20 minutes and you'll get a stage of the task completed because 90% of the playerbase cannot score that high.

Also the M2A1's advantage is being used by Gorillas, arguably making BR5 Gorillas viable.
And the T20E1 get's a bipod which helps a lot when behind cover, though not enough for me to not wish my 4 gold orders back
The BSA Thompson is great, 2nd or 3rd best BR2 SMG all guns competing. Only loses to the Jap tommy and the premium one.

The MG 13 is already a best-in-class progression gun, but it gets even stronker when you pair it with the right perks. In theory, the Bren is "easier" to use but it also has a top-loading mag so it is cucked to death. I can't really think of any BR II machine guns in progression that are better than the MG 13. The Vickers-Berthier has a "bug" (?) that allows it to be fired on the move while ADS with no accuracy penalties, but it also has a terrible ROF and top loader.

Hell, even the Breda Mod .30 is better than its contemporaries because it has such low recoil and such good sights. I'd take it over the Brens or the Madsen any day, and probably the Type 11 and Type 97 too. That's not even mentioning the absolute nadir of machine guns that is the Madsen, a gun only outclassed in how bad it is by the Chauchat.

You can use and enjoy any gun you want, the issue with the Bren is that it has absolutely nothing going for it compared to what it faces. It actually has "decent" hipfire and shoulder fire accuracy while on the move, but the thing is that it's still really, really bad since it's a machine gun. It's totally fine but also unremarkable and has more recoil than the MG 13 because fuck you.

Darkflow's old reasoning was that they couldn't code old squads to have AT and Engineers, which is also why so many old premium squads got replaced with "new" versions with different stats. Turns out that was wrong. That being said, I DO think retroactively changing the old premium/event rifle squads would cause some issues because it's not as simple as just adding another soldier slot.

The WT comparison just doesn't hold. This game has a flexible perk system that ideally would allow for many separate viable builds instead of just the one. Same thing with weapons. In WT you only get one copy of the powercreep anyway

They're Rifleman IIIs (I think) and can get 90% medkit use speed and 6 HP per medkit. Sprint speed is overrated on low tier riflemen because they don't have the killing power to take advantage of it.

What makes sprint speed work is being able to reach a position and wipe an entire enemy squad in under 5 seconds. Not really something really viable with a 6 round semi-auto or bolt action, but very easy with automatics and grenade launchers. With lower power guns you take too long to pick the enemy squad apart and lose the advantage the sprint speed got you in the first place.

you could have stopped there. being able to viciously exploit a good position is of course very useful but bolt actions benefit from flanks, high ground, cover just as well as any weapon. sprint is good on every soldier in the game besides tankers and pilots

If you insist. I can't think of any situation where I have suffered grievous losses to some guy using a bolt action or semi-auto in a wacky position. They are, at worst, a slight nuisance, but their low killing power and relatively high TTK means it's very easy to just swap to another guy and shoot them while they reload or are between shots. Unaccompanied bolt-action squads are also very easy to wipe compared to squads with automatics, and they'll be lagging quite far behind in most cases, and if they AREN'T lagging behind, then the guy didn't need sprint speed to get to his position.

I dunno, I'd rather take medkit use speed and run speed if I am playing with a low tier semi-auto or bolt-action squad. Lose a bit of that sprint speed that I can barely take advantage of for the ability to instantly heal or revive. On Rifleman III, you can take +10% run speed and +90% medkit use speed, and yes, run speed does affect how fast your soldier sprints.

This guy only has reload speed because the Murata has a long enough reload that you can get something out of it.

hitting the point from a direction they aren't expecting is invaluable, as is wiping their spawn points. sprint makes this playstyle FAR less tedious and makes you less likely to be killed bounding from cover to cover. your bots getting picked off happens regardless of what you do so ordering them to a safeish position is all you can do in any case. I rather have sprint + grenades/ammo on all my troops then instarez because it's just as easy to switch to a fresh soldier as it is to recover from a down. medspeed vs sprint is one of the few tradeoffs left in this game that actually is about player preference

The IS-3 will still get dunked on by Panzerfausts going straight through the hull, and it still has the crappy reload. Soviet tanks just aren't going to be useful in Enlisted because waiting for 3x as long between shots is terrible, plus the shells are so huge that they get eaten by everything.

It was really fun though with that high-velocity gun. I only needed 30 special weapon kills but I ended up building an ammo box and getting around 50.

Whenever my rallies constantly get wiped, it's normally a plane that somehow mysteriously knows wherever my rallies are and bombs/rockets them with perfect precision no matter where I hide them. In order for gorillas to actually be able to reach your rallies, you have to have a really fucking slack team.

That being said, gorillas are really strong and versatile, but they are also not something you can really deploy if your team isn't already decent. in most matches I play, having a rally point and APC up at all times is the bare minimum required to try and help force a win.

Yeah and it makes an otherwise easily soloable decent team really hard to overcome when your rallies are constantly denied. Their speed and unique flanking ability make them the best in class at denying forward spawns by a huge margin. Most teams fold immediately when no spawn points are up

Just like the Stinger, which is undeniably OP as fuck, and the Japanese Thompson, also undeniably OP, and the Fedorov rifle which is overpowered and is an autorifle with a 25 (+1) round mag and burst fire mode that never actually existed. Even if you took away the burst mode and made it semi-auto only it would be very strong as a BR IV weapon.

Depends on class and rank. You want to pair it with their default perk ideally. Health restoration pairs with backpack+medkits. Since ammo of the same caliber is pooled together instead of separately, it's less value to give secondaries if you're equipping them with same caliber weapons. Better to get ammo pack and double the ammo pool instead of another same-caliber secondary with no extra bullets.

To be fair, a newfag would have to farm like crazy to be able to afford the loot box. I blew several million silver on them and ended up with one extra sword, a Stinger, an engraved S&W, and all the portraits I never managed to get previously (for that sweet, sweet stolen valour). A lot of newfags here were pretty disappointed to get off-meta squads like the PPK-42 and MP 40 (S) instead of the cool, rare meta guns or para squads.

In theory: shoot the outer parts of the superstructure's "cheeks" or "turret" where it's "only" 200mm if he's facing you dead-on. This SHOULD be able to pen within about 150 meters. In a practical sense all you can really do is pick at him with APCR. You can also go for the gun breach pretty easily since it's rather large and disable him.

The Hurricane and Bf 110 gun-CAS premiums are worse since, to my knowledge, they don't actually do anything against the vast majority of targets. In theory a Churchill can be a nuisance in a down-tier, even if it's just a KV-1 but worse.

for how much they both suck the pz sfl is at least fast and tiny and the suchka is a complete terror at AT when positioned well. the churchill gets curbstomped by every HE munition, is slow as shit and vastly underarmed, making it far more frustrating to use

The De Lisle is a (relatively) old BP item, isn't it? Years and years ago now. I doubt they even have much gameplay data or many complaints about it because nobody uses it or cares about it. It would actually make a great event gun if they bumped its damage up a bit, even just to 10.1 or something.

afaik the only time its been buffed was a slight boost to muzzle velocity, before that it had the same caliber related stats as the grease gun. it should OHK center mass at point blank but with a large drop off and be an interesting novelty instead of completely worthless
