Sucks to throw in the towel at level 54 but my only option to level (every 40+ is simply not viable to quest in anymore) being long corpseruns to dungeons that might not even get going because people will drop group if they die too much trying to get to the dungeon just is not fun
I havent played SoD since phase 1, might give it a shot since they seem to have added actually somewhat new stuff

this week he enforced consumables, helped a lot and felt like we killed things much faster and didn't wipe to anything unlike our first attempt but still took forever
next week he's enforcing no comms = no loot rule because comms made it a lot easier this week

what are some other things, as a guild, one can do to speed up MC? we relied on pugs a lot both weeks, 1st week not enough 60 2nd week 50% of signups noshowed. besides the obvious "git gud" which is never gonna happen in 2 weeks, what other ideas should one implement?

Create a plan for as many of ur guildies as possible to get together right before raidtime and get ezpz world buffs together. Should be quick route, under 1h. Not really most players put more interest in Classic so, at least, they get consumes, enchants and learn his epic one-button rotation thatn they press instead of being AFK or doing some stupid shit. Also 1.12 is solved so memespecs are solved while in vanilla there was more snowflakes hopping that the next patch will fix their meme class. And add 1.12 itemization too, early itemization was a complete shitshow so gearing was way harder.

with the mcp they generate comparable threat to a fury prot war but if you mean in dungeons then its going to greatly depend on how much gear/crit they have. swipe is decent but its still capped at four targets and isnt instant threat like consecration or anything.
their saving grace is they can generally run ahead of groups to start building threat faster than a warrior because they dont have to swap stances and lose their rage to use their charge

First, they have better multi-target threat than warriors (low bar but whatever) by default so for 5-man content or even holding the attention of trash packs in a raid they're generally breddy gud.

Second, bear tanks don't rely as much on gear scaling as warriors do and end up with massive amounts of mitigation just by pressing the bear button.

Thirdly, most warrior "tanks" are DPStards who (assuming they even bother slapping on a shield in the first place instead of just YOLOing with ravager and spamming sweeping blows and WW) listed as a tank to get a group and who don't know how to do a sword-and-board threat rotation while bear tanks generally DO know what their buttons (both of them lel) do because feral is the leveling spec as well as the tanking spec and bear tanking is arguably the most brain-dead rotation in vanilla. Maul -> Swipe -> tab to next enemy -> repeat. Throw in Faerie Fire if you're feeling fancy and taunt as needed if the DPS goes full retard or if two buttons was somehow too complex for you.

Problem is plate gear with +hit is hard to come by, Lionheart is like 2k gold because of RMT, Brigam Girdle is a drop from General Drakkisath. I was able to help a warlock get to DM the day wpvp dropped after we got zerged at the feather moon docks. She gave me water breathing and we headed south then climbed up avoiding big patrols. It worked and I was only level 46.

Yeah there may be some shitter with aura addon cheating or whatever just try slowing and killing them.
