Magik bros, here's a pretty neat trick I have been using. Your dash (Umbral Incursion) wraps around corners. You can use this to line up unreactable corner ambushes. Due to the 3rd person camera, you can stand behind a corner and line up your reticle on someone, and when you dash, Magik will instantly zip around the corner. No need to walk around the corner first or teleport and expose yourself to shots. Way better when going to the right obviously, due to how the 3rd person camera is oriented. But you CAN dash blindly going to the left if you know someone is there.

But that's not all. It can also go up vertical surfaces and catch people standing on top of them. For example, you can zip up the walls in the Tokyo 2099 maps to scoop people standing on buildings and ledges. It works even if you are at the base of a wall. I've gotten a few Punishers and Moon Knights this way.

Are they serious about the Venom/Wolverine buffs? If they want this game to have a competitive setting they really need to reevaluate what they're doing since that is unbelievably retarded. Who were they listening to? Bad players? Sure hope everyone's in for a huge disappointment coming next season, if they cant even figure out that the problem wasn't that characters sucked but that there were too many overpowered ones than I think its safe to say people will eventually go back to overwatch after they get enough of this crap.

99% of the people playing this game weren't playing overwatch when this came out.

Also this game is just baby casualized for baby overwatch anyway so it's going to repeat every mistake OW did including listening to streamers and balancing around average winrate across all ranks. So yes they will be mostly listening to bad players since they're the most vocal and populous.

The game just exists to sell skins. Don't overthink it. Play it until you stop having fun then don't play it.

The outdoor Yggdrasil Domination map is probably the easiest place I have found so far to use it. People always approach up the steps and you can just zip around and launch them into the air out of nowhere lol.

Other than that, it has been random ledges, hallways and boxes where fighting takes place. The first half of Klyntar escort has a lot of good places for that reason.

I just need to be able to set up nests and mine clusters on point
putting them on our side of the map (because we got pushed back to spawn) means they don't get stepped on
and firing them in the path of the opponents main push never works;
the tanks eat the 4-5 I'm able to put down and get instahealed by the supports playing behind them

after that I usually get picked off; I'm always the solo tank as Peni (why I usually switch to Strange)
and I can't eat that much damage when half my teammates are fuck-knows-where
I know I'm not amazing at the game, but without being able to singlehandedly play the part of 3 teammates you're reliant on the luck of the draw as a solo-q

i don't think you're really supposed to. the tiny hit box that's present while he's underground seems to exist primarily so AoE attacks and Peni's mines will still threaten him. i remember being able to kill him underground during the Beta but i only think i've managed to do it once in the 60 hours i've played since launch.

a lot of this (at least in my experience) comes down to how much environmental destruction is happening around you at a given time. i play at a solid 60FPS pretty close to Ultra settings, but if Strange opens a portal and Storm's ult starts tearing up buildings and throwing physics objects around, my shit will drop below 30FPS and i've gotta lock in to compensate till they let up. lol

He literally does the same amount of damage per hit as hulk and his shield throw primary does the same amount of damage as thor's primary.
Also given the speed at which he attacks, he has a better DPS output than hulk, magneto, groot, thor, and peni.
His damage output is not the problem.

Yeah I think I'm tapped out at Diamond. Got close to breaking 1 but its feeling like pure RNG. Had a strange setup 2 portals to infinitely fall through them, eventually he started trying and died, then he went on a tangent about being the best strange when the game came out last week.
Its just not happening, especially with the players trying to climb ranks but having no concept strategy, no critical thinking, and an unwavering amount of resilience to listen to reason. I constantly tell people to ban certain characters who are extremely crutchy and they'll instantly argue if its not hela/hawkguy even though those two are banned by both teams 95% of the time, then get filtered by (psylocke,wolverinetankbusting,lunault) characters I told they should ban and blame the whole team for it.
I might try grouping up but I doubt it'll fair any better. I'm pretty sure the game has a very strict premade to premade MMR.

She's mid. Her attack is basically aimbot but it doesn't do a lot of damage. Her ult is really strong but horribly slow. She has a stun and an invisibility escape tool though so she's not awful.

Yeah for starters they need to make it a lot more visible. It's just a sort of faint black mist on the ground. When your enemies walk in they can tell since they take DoT damage, but your teammates will never be able to tell it's healing them.

I think it's fine. I'd rather them experiment with seasonal buffs and team ups as a way to balance than messing around with individual character kits.
Like the hulk iron man team up is the perfect example. Everyone agrees the moment it's gone hulk and iron man usage is gonna sink. It's single handedly keeping both characters meta. If they ever wanted to, removing it is a great way to weaken both without making either worse on their own.

I remember having a punisher in my game a few days ago who was mouthing off the other damage dealers telling them they should swap since he was out-doing them in damage
by the end of the game he had the most damage but only like 4 final blows compared to the other damage dealers who both had something between 10-20 each. I even had more final blows as Captain America

Thor is a tough situation. He's on the precipice of being really good since his lightning can kill any strategist in 3 hits and most duelists in 4. Make him tankier and he's going to be a menace and increasing damage can just lead to him sniping from midrange which is definitely not intended.

They should take time to see where he needs buffs and they don't need to be in a hurry since he's in a decent state compared to some other tanks like Groot.

his lighting is 4 shots for everyone, 3 shots deal 210 dmg. he gets to 250-270 if he hits his shift but that requires either the strategist to be really out of position or for thor to charge up a 20m (2s) dash in the middle of the enemy team, and the moment thor is banging on your strategist with awakening rune your team should switch on him and kill him anyway
thor's base kit is perfectly fine, he just needs a usable ult because at the end of the day he's a tank so he both generates and gives lots of ult, the problem is all the other tanks have really good ults and his just sucks so its a net loss for him

Only changes I want for cap is to be able to raise his shield while using his sprint jump and just some overall buffs to make his mobility into the shield a bit more fluid. Making big plays with his shield deflection is some of the most fun you can have with the character and I don't think it would be too egregious to implement since you will be putting most of your stuff on CD just to get it to work
If they wanna play into the deflection a little more they could even make the ricochet spread a little less random so you can actually try to aim it

Here's the stereotypes I associate with every hero in the game after 200 hours:

Captain America: Offrole duelist autofilling for van, often has duo who can switch to Thor. Either curbstomps with their duo or ints ult charge while leaving their backline to fend for themselves the entire match.

Doctor Strange: Among the more intelligent and grounded players yet with a fear of failure that make them meta slaves in whatever game they play, which ironically makes the higher echelons of competitive play always elude them

Groot: Elo boosted by sleeper char yet chill about it, prays no one figures out how much dps walls output so they finally shoot them

Hulk: Stubborn to a fault bonehead who wants to punch things without thinking or swapped to maining hulk after meta developed around him

Magneto: Same as Strange, except even more of a meta slave

Magik: Aimlets that will either roll lobby or mistime their flanks and ults and be told to swap. More often way more useful and amicable then Iron Fist/Spiderman. Metalheads/Soulslike fans/Fighting Game players gravitate towards this.

Moonknight: Elo boosted shitters who bank on supports not knowing how to heal. If supports know how to heal then he is useless support ult battery.

Namor: Elo boosted shitter who is either a flex pick into a fragging diver, or one tricked while praying that enemy team doesn't know to shoot squids.

Psylocke: Either a useless ult charge farmer who sits with tank and prays for a few picks when their ult is up, or an annihilating flanker that knows how to one shot combo reliably. No in between. Probably a coomer otaku.

Scarlet Witch: aimlet console player, an attempted dive counterpick, a D tier flexor who has something to prove or a coomer for Wanda in the comics/movies

Spider Man: Always useless. Never seen a good one even diamond+. He only goes positive if team doesn't swap to counter.

Squirrel Girl: A consistently useful coomer character on certain maps. Ironically see them perform better then meta picks or A listers fairly often, especially if a Mantis can dmg boost. Usually very chill.

Star Lord: Useless mosquito who farms ult then gets at least two people consistently, but doesn't output enough kill securing damage in a neutral state by himself to be relevant at any part of the game. Almost as bad as Ironfist/Spider Man to have on team.

Storm: Most Storms I've seen in Comp is D flexors who play behind cover very well and know how to get their team to peel for them. I'd rather have one then a Starlord/Iron Fist/Spider Man.

Punishers: Elo boosted shitters who relied on solo queue players not consistently knocking them out of their turret to climb. Never carries, but enables other DPS like another dive/mid-range character to carry.

Winter Soldier: Will either ult in 6 people and die every time or wipe the lobby, there is no in between.

Wolverine: Consistently useful when I see them. It's common knowledge that he is a tank buster now and is good for disruption better than most other flankers.

Adam: Very good to have on team if the person mains them, will die often to flankers and be useless if they're casually swapped to.

C&D: Consistently very useful, if they are used properly they get their ult every 25-30 seconds and guarantee a push or a stall. A good C&D main will carry more often then the average unbanned Hela/Hawkeye.

Jeff: I don't like having him on my team, or facing him. He is the trademark character for an elo boosted shitter. He won't output healing consistently due to his short range, when he ults he isn't healing, singlehandedly losing the fight if he doesn't get a good ult off. Jeff players are usually egocentric trolls who are chasing the high of a 5 man ult team wipe, making them a burden to any team 9 times out of 10.

Loki:

Will either singlehandedly carry the game, or not know how to position clones properly to get good HPS and heal 9k to a Luna/Mantis's 20k. Lots of stubborn egirl shitters play this character almost as much as Jeff.

Luna Snow:

I love Lunas. Even if they mistime their ults correctly, can't aim or misposition to die to flankers they can always be relied on in some capacity and are generally nice.

Mantis: Mantis players are a mixed bag. They're often too focused on DPSing to use their seed resource effectively so they overflow and underperform in HPS. They shutdown divers very consistently with insane reaction times before 2 shotting them with natural anger. I've also seen a few get salty, but there are others that are nice and generally accommodating for their team. Can never get mad at them though, they're cute even when they throw gamer tantrums.

Rocket Raccoons: Very nice players, but they're furries who don't know when to swap off cause they're too used to Raccoon's survivability.

So you run into the issue of having tanks who only main him, but since you need 2 tanks someone is gonna have to switch to something else. when Cap does his flying shield attacks on his left click, they are considered melee so anything that blocks projectiles totally nulls it. On top of that Hulk has better effective durability so Hulk usually comes out of fights with more health, more applied damage or being able to retreat and re-engage on better terms and more frequently.

Just had a game with a Namor on our team and the other team and everytime the enemy namor placed a turret I got to dash reload and one clip it for free

Hate this. With some comps it kind of makes sense (weak sustain damage), but you should probably just switch to Punisher or Starlord or something and start breaking clones or turrets if the loki or namor is good. Storm has really bad main weapon sustain and burst which is kind of crazy bad for it
