There is a point where you get good enough at something that you can accurately judge the power level of someone else by watching them play seriously, and gauge if you can beat them or not.
People like LTG, DSP, Max, rooflemonger, they know how to do the special moves but they don't have the killing intent. They will not adapt mid match, they will not pay attention to anything except the most obvious tendencies, they have never been pushed to their peak. MAYBE dsp has the muscle memory to not freeze up during tense situations, but most people here can destroy him in any game without trying too hard.

You had the best pro scene, dozens of pros with actual personalities that had history between them all, locals were everywhere, you had MAHVEL if SF4 wasn't on, offline tournaments everywhere, you had thuggery, the characters actually played differently, the roster was huge for that time

Day 4 Akuma Checking in before starting the Session. Todays Goals are too AA DP every Kenguru and Ryurangutan.

Also I complained about a lack of Damage and ways in my skill set to Cash out Super Meter which is free damage. So I'll be grinding out DP into SA3 and hopefully have it on lock this evening.

I did a few reps in training mode, and I'm still kinda slow with my Leverless doing to 6,236p,236k as I got used to the SOCD trick with where I roll and hold 628p

I know it might be better doing some more Daigo Drills to better react to DI which I'm currently lacking but I want to give myself a little treat, but as I used to be a Card Gamer I think unspent Resources are wasted Resources and thats something that stresses me out.

I don't plan on hitting Plat today. The general Goal is at the moment just to improve a bit more on the Mechanical side. This is still the first Shoto I ever put any effort into and before that I played Auto Pilot Combo Chars like Jive Roggers and Dix Cammy.

Why release a bundle of characters in one go?
If you release X characters at once then people will complain about lack of characters after a while, it is better if you drip feed the same amount over a period of time.

It normalizes damage between raw AA lvl 3 and AA DP into lvl 3 which have no meaningful reason to be significantly different.
In a game where every single part of every combo is normalized to the point of being worthlessly boring that's like the least offensive example.

MPMP xx Lvl3 = 4100
so you can skip the Special Moves all together if you land a target combo and want to Lvl3 without spending Drive Gauge.
BUT if you do want to spend Drive Gauge you should include the Special Moves as :
MPMP xx DRC MPMP xx Lvl3 = only 4011
Basically the DP scales the combo a lot and if you arent already doing a long combo or something else that heavily scales your combo it wont be worth it.

They made him deliberately strong because they knew he was a big name and would draw in returning casuals. Same with Bison. Thats good, you will go far with this mindset.
If you are just starting and need easy stuff with the lowest chance of dropping then always try out the target combos on a character, some are surprisingly good.
Viscera Piercer (MP MP) is good because its cancellable and MP is 6 frames.
Kikoku combination (f.HP f.HP HK) is decent damage for how effortless the input is but with that 13f start up I dont know how youd use it aside from punishing a DP
Bone Crusher Axe Kick (MK HK) is a cheeky overhead but I think its mainly for ground bouncing airborne opponents so you can get a consistent follow up after. (see Advanced Combo Trial 3)

Because labbing doesn't have the same effect on Ryu, due to generally inferior normals and a gameplan more based around faking pressure for heavy drive damage and baiting big responses for heavy health damage.
Jamie players are mostly lab obsessed but usually around combos more than pressure sequences. There just isn't as much to lab, since his shorter range 7f cr.MK is a lot less useful. Where st.HP does or doesn't interrupt is a thing, I guess, but it's easy enough to learn from matches which strings will randomly punish counter its startup.

You can say that about almost every character introduced from 4 and on.
Capcom's designs for SF have been fucking awful across the board with a few exceptions like Juri and C. Viper (which capcom seems determined to forget her).

Skin textures are an RE Engine asset and are used in other Capcom games so it could be anyone who made it.
I agree the models are really detailed.
The cloth physics and the jiggle, the muscle flexing and relaxing, pupil dilation, facial morphing etc are all insane.
Boot up training mode and do Cammy c.HP, the hitstop ass jiggle on block is a masterpiece equivalent to the Mona Lisa.

Strangely enough 5 seems to have done pretty well with newcomer designs. Rashid, Ed, Laura, Kolin, Menat, G and Zeku were all well-received character designs and Abigail is at least memorable if nothing else and they took Seth who everyone either hated or didn't care about at all and gave him a design everyone loved. Compare that to 6 and 4's newcomers where the only one anyone gives a shit about is Juri.

Nigga he has put out a video every two-three days on average for seventeen years.
He has shilled himself nonstop all over the internet relentlessly for as long as many people can remember.

Yeah the lack of proper training is evident hence why he goes off on random fucking tangents 80% of the time making most of his videos unwatchable. I think the funniest thing about Clayton is that he probably could be successful if he dialed his schizoness back just enough to recognize where he could improve.
