>>509228518>WarriorIf you're not willing to tank then you'll spend much more time waiting for dungeons than running them, solo questing is miserable even as an optimized DPS spec and it's hands-down the worst gear treadmill in the game. On the other hand, if you're willing to tank for PUGs and like dungeon content then that part of it is basically free pussy. If you r gud tonk and make the healer's life easy then there's a decent chance to get /w'd out of nowhere, even for raids.
>HunterProbably the most efficient class in the game for solo questing next to mage, and they're decent for PvP even with a non PvP spec; probably the best class for solo BGs They have some fun utility abilities and extreme survivability. Very low skill floor, many bots.
>RogueThe other best solo class in the game and oozing with SOVL like nothing else (except maybe locks) between the lockpicking, pickpocketing and stealth shenanigans. If you're the kind of person who takes your time dicking around and exploring and making your own fun then you'll love being a rogue. They're very welcome in dungeons because dude locked chests lmao, are easily the best 1v1 PvP class by default and scale well with gear. Low skill floor for combat swords, moderate to high skill floor for other specs.
>WarlockTons of flavor and class content, good solo questing class, free mount at 40 and some valued PvE abilities like summoning and soulstones. They're viable in BGs and monsters in 1v1 in the hands of a skilled player. Easily the highest skill floor for a clothie.
>MageNonexistent skill floor as frost, which is what 99% of mages spec into and why there are so many bots; run around grabbing a bunch of mobs with rank 1 arcane explosion or body pulls or wands or r1 spells, frost nova them, blink away and then blizzard/frostbolt them until they die. Drink your free water, re-buff if necessary and then rinse and repeat until you need to vendor and auction. Very viable in BGs.
