>damned if you do, damned if you don'tAnons are notoriously angy incels, so no matter what we try someone's going to be upset for some reason. Like that one
>>509098828 anon commented, many anons base their personality on here as abrasive and annoying. That's all fine and dandy but when we get to the point where we want to take our masks off then it's tough to realize that the abrasive and annoying personality is actually who they're trying/wanting to be. I'm getting off topic though.
I agree with you in that what's comfortable is fun, and understand the hesitation to change. What my hope with a "fully change kit after a win" is that it'll force sweaty tryhards to dig deeper into their bag of tricks to come out on top; and people who may not be as good can play with what they want until they do win. That, hopefully, makes the fc more equitable since the better players will be forced to grow in skill with new weapons and the more casual players can still enjoy their comfort picks.
It's similar to what my old highschool friend group decided when we played Beeriocart. We'd have guys who wanna go hard, pick Toad or Mario, and just run the game. We eventually decided that winner had to change character. They'll get first pick, but they couldn't just run the game with their favorite kart.
I do get a bit of fomo when I hear about cool things that happened in the fc. I was the Darth Vader who started the backstab in this train because my guy was overencumbered and that was as fast as I could go. Was fun watching things devolve. However, I remember anons being super confused cause I was basically a punching bag. I had already gotten my wins and was then just playing for laughs, but they got concerned that I wasn't playing their way.
