So if I cast it say 3 times, it would summon "15" but 5 of them would overwrite due to the cap of 10 meaning they would resummon away from enemies no?

What build are you playing? Because if you're playing DD that scales differently than most spells.
You can see all the modifiers for wands here
poe2db DOT tw/us/Wands#ModifiersCalc
For generic spells inc spell damage and your ailment of choice damage are good (DD doesn't care about these for example). Cast speed is always good. Mana is good if you're using archmage. Crit is good if you're investing in your crit side of your tree.

Also forgot to mention DD doesn't care about spell level. Most people leave it at lvl 1 even to keep the mana cost low. Since all the damage comes from the % of corpse life and that doesn't increase with levels.

No. Endgame will become you taking 30 seconds to walk up to a pack of white mobs, taking 20 seconds to set up your mega combo - you get interrupted by an attack that halfs your hp because armor is still worthless and they killed es and evasion - so you take another 20 seconds to set up your combo - only to have to dodge - then when you finally do your combo you deal only 10% of the pack HP, so you have to do it again.

The game gives you 24 weapon set talent points. Witch hunter gives you another 24. 24+24 = 48, you may as well bust out the calculator and confirm that because you will need it to confirm the rest.
lvl 80 = 79 talent points + 24 points to put between two weapon sets.
24 in weapon set 1 + 24 in weapon set 2 + 79 = 127
Witchunter turns 24 of 127 into another 48, 24 for each weapon set.
127 - 24 = 103 + weapon set 1 + weapon set 2 = 103 +24 + 24 = 151

When I had a second one slotted it would literally never proc, even when the other one had no charges.

I've worked in some big international corporations (2, really) that specifically have different offices in different geos because we needed 24/7 uptime on critical infrastructure, when one country would have some holidays or special break days the other geos would still be available to monitor how things are going. There were also emergency teams that were basically on-call if shit ever hit the fan during the holidays.

Ambush exists as a much worse version imo. Torment/Anarchy will come back but they used to have opportunity cost via atlas, and unless they get the Essence treatment (which I also think is worse) then they won't be active enough to really matter.
Some of the Leagues people were love hate on I enjoyed. Blight broke up the flow of a map but I personally loved it. Annoints are provided via Deli now so it's likely done for good. Archnemesis I liked, but I wasn't so retarded to build things I couldn't kill, but they kind of messed with map flow.

Beastiary will be back I'm positive, but I'm also fairly certain that Necro League was a testing ground of what it'll become. Go with Einhar, kill monsters, go to shit house and bury them, spawn big dick monsters and collect our awesome custom crafted piece. No more Beast Crafting as it is.
Kalandra I think was cool in it's concept but absolutely ass in play. I think it could be fixed but they might just stay away from it, though I imagine most PoE 2 players didn't actually play the league. Crucible I don't think will return as it was, but I imagine they will take another shot at weapon skill trees.

I've been playing PoE1 Settlers (SSF btw) since I got my fill of PoE2, and got a Hinekora's Lock.
I don't really play Path of Exile seriously anymore (haven't for the better part of a decade) and when I do play it's always SSF so I have no idea how the economy works.
But obviously this item should be super valuable for crafting and when I looked it up it's like 36 thousand chaos or something insane.
Normally I just use stuff like exalt slamming gear if I think I'll wear it for a long time or whatever but this seems REALLY valuable.

Is this that good of an item, closer to a mirror instead of a normal orb?
What do I do with it? It seems like I'd be better off not actually using it and selling it to make a dream character and do challenges or something.
If it matters I'm level 90 and just trying to do red maps to fill out my atlas and starting the elder/shaper stuff but don't really understand all of that. I did like three Maven's invitations and a searing exarch and eater of worlds boss thing from quest items that dropped.

PoE 1 league news, with a teaser + release date. Then they could just add the PoE 2 road map/time line, and I'd be happy. I've been holding off on buying the supporter packs until I see PoE 1 news. Got my lifetime spent key, but if they release a sloppy Necro-Legacy-Settlers of Kalandra bullshit league, then I likely won't support them again until I like the direction 2 is going.

endgame is shit and needs reworked
magic find needs removed
drop rarity needs to be raised
crafting needs reworked because it doesnt exist your gear is shit when you map and you will need to trade to not die
1 shots from monsters in endgame needs removed i die to mobs more than i die to bosses
you should be able to choose your league mechanic on maps and not forced to path through league mechanics you dont like to play it
classes needs buffed or nerfed like warrior needs buffed across the board and high end monk/sorc alongside archmage needs nerfed
monsters need nerfed in endgame they are poe1 modded compared to campaign
dying in maps should not remove your league mechanic and boss just the waystone you was using
demon form needs reworked to allow you to choose demon form starting point and demon flame cap
evasion and health needs buffed compared to ES

and thats just a tiny % of shit off the top of my head there is like 97% more shit that needs changed, its a god tier game that has a fuck load of dumb game design choices that were fixed in poe1 that are holding it back, i dont enjoy the endgame, i want that poe1 feeling when i play poe2s endgame but i dont, i dont like how i cant juice maps with scarabs, i dont like the new atlas tree, i dont like how i cant choose essences because i loved farming them in poe1 fuck man there is so much shit i dont like but i love the game and all the new shit they have done like the moment to moment combat but i dont like 1 shots on maps thats bullshit and should be removed

You're naive if you think GGG haven't been pushing commits and planning what to release over the last two weeks. I'm not saying we'll get a patch tomorrow. We won't. But it'll be sooner than you think.
Back when GGG used to care about poe 1 and did big updates to fix all their shit a month into the league, a couple of these fell on their December league. They did their usual long holiday and came back and released a lot pretty quickly.
We'll get a decent patch either on the 9th or the 16th or so.

because quivers make up at least half of your damage as a bow user no matter how good your bow is. in some cases its way more than that. you can literally use a deaths harp bow just for the +4 arrows while using the default bow attack and you would probably still be able to freeze/shock and proc all of your heralds even in t15 maps. dont know what to tell you if you dont see a problem with that.

monks need a lot of int for gear and skills and as such they will have a lot of mana.
mana rolls are also very common and desired on items.
there are also many mana regen nodes and reduced skilled mana cost nodes on the tree in very convenient and easy to take nodes.
it is extremely dumb to take generic damage increased nodes on the tree in favor of a mana regen or reduced mana cost of skills nodes.
not only do those mana nodes help you with sustain on bosses, where dps actually matters but it also offers a lot of qol.
so in short, yes you want +melee skills on your quarter staff in stead of crit damage/crit chance/ias.

Levelling a second warrior and i think the real problem with maces is that there is no good generic damage skill. Rolling Slam moves you around, Earthquake has a delay, Molten Blast is janky and all these skills basically have shit area. It has some decent "finishers" though but you cant clear with those.

Also crushing blows ruins boneshatter which is absolutely shit since the node behind it is ok

i really enjoy nu-sanctum personally. i like having the extra speed, the combat is more poe2-like than mapping, the rogue lite aspect is interesting, i even like most of the trap rooms because it feels epic to roll through the flame traps or weapon swap blink up a ledge.
the final boss is pretty fun when your build is just the right level of strength, although i think i passed that and i would nuke the boss even with the dildo relic and terrible boons + afflictions.

poe1 lab on the other hand i just find tedious. the only nice thing i have to say about it is that its very short so you can get the ascendancies quickly, but ive been in tranny gem hell a few times and i hated it.

my only complaint about poe2 sanctum is that the rewards suck ass in ssf. theres basically zero reason to do it if you have a good against the darkness, dont want spectrum jewels and are too bad for a no hit run

im pretty sure that this is backwards unless you have so much mana on your gear that the dex/int/regen/movespeed node + the 3 reduced cost nodes are enough to sustain +6/7 points. it really depends on the gear, a few flat mana rolls give you like twice as much mana and thus regen as having 0

I just finished Act 3, and I don't think I swapped a single piece of gear the entire time. I might have gotten a better glove.
So, noob question: are drops really that sparse in poe2, or is that just how the campaign goes? I'm level 33 now, and I'm still in level 11-18 golds. I've tried upgrading white/blue drops, even burning some of my exalted orbs, but its just been shit rng.

You should get all skills at level 1, it sucks that you have to use the same skills every time and that you can't use the skill you want to use. You progress anyway with passive points, gear, levels on skills etc. And you'd still have to find the skill gems.

The more damage you deal to a boss in a small time the stronger it gets "oh you killed the boss in 3 seconds, surprise it resurrects and is now 5x as strong and has 700% move speed" it's the perfect solution. People want fair bosses, but how do you balance in a game where you can make a "tanky character" with 3k HP or 20k energy shield? This version of charms is not it in my opinion. Most of them are very weak, they aren't reliable, you can't see how many charges you have, you can't see when they are active. They don't really serve much purpose in their current state. Why charm slots is a suffix on belt is pretty mind boggling - its both pretty rare and doesn't hold a candle to resist or attribute suffixes. I think Heavy Belt is the best base personally, but ultimately it doesn't really matter - the stats matter far more. Ingenuity exists and its so much better than any other belt you are pretty much locked into 1 charm slot on an end game build anyway.

If charms are strong (which they very much aren't at the moment) and you are very limited on slots then it also encourages swapping charms all the time as well, which is also not fun. I don't really see a way forward with the current system that ends up being better than what we had in PoE1.

At the very least I'd like some agency. If I have a freeze charm make it actually break freeze and let me choose between it being automatic or if I want to press a button to activate it. At least then it can be reliable if I want it to be.

I'd rather they just do away with charms entirely and give us other avenues to invest in ailment/debuff defence. As it stands right now I just use a silver charm on all my guys past the first few acts and forget about it. Ailments aren't really a fun problem to solve, they are just more annoying than anything.

I'd click 3 points for stun/freeze threshold in a heartbeat over using a charm that unreliably only stops you from getting chain CC'd for the duration and doesn't even break the first CC.

Remove heralds. Halve es. Remove meta skills. Decrease wind ups on melee skills by 1 sec. Slow mobs in breaches by 20%. Remove queen of the forest. Strength characters can't br pusher and instead they push. Add life back on tree but only left side. Buff Armour x3. Halve es. Remove EB. Spark has 5 less projectiles and cannot chain or fork. Not an original thought in redditors heads. Id rather get the old flask system back personally

Also using the word unreliably when it isnt unreliable its just they dont like their animation delayed by the 0.001s microsecond it takes for freeze to cleanse. I personaly just think that charms as disinteresting more than anything else.

Warframe has adaptive damage scaling on bosses, basically if you do over a certain amount of DPS the boss starts gaining pure % damage reduction to stop you melting them
GGG should steal this wholesale if they want fights to last more than 3 seconds

I could not figure out the physics of the delirium smoke if my life depended on it.
Sometimes it will stay up for the entire map without me doing anything in particular.
Sometimes I will try to follow the flow and the smoke fucks off in less than 30 seconds for a grand total of 2 distilled emotions.
I'm probably missing some key concept but since I missed delirium league in PoE1 and this game doesn't explain shit, I guess I'll never get the high tier emotions.

there is no such thing as a direction afaik, its a ring that radiates out from the center. if you go too fast or too slow the timer runs out. in poe1 some things like opening a strongbox or doing a breach stop the fog from moving, i assume in poe2 that also is the case.
on some maps being too fast is very easy, slick for example. being too slow should be impossible unless you are forced to backtrack through the spawn. for some reason the delirium tablets have a mod that pauses the fog when you kill a rare which kinda bricks it

first there is the obvious es / evasion holocaust and potential armor life / buff situation
but also theres a high chance that ggg will make enemies way tankier to slow down mapping overall and then warrior mapping actually becomes good at mapping. if characters actually need to spend time killing monsters instead of sprinting through the map and killing enemies while passing by them, warriors slowness is less of an issue

The real problem is their drop rates. They have been steadily making item drops worse and worse over the leagues to add "weight" to even shitty item drops. All this does is make getting good gear incredibly tedious and inflate currency even more some it's the only thing that drops
