You did it, good stuff! Anytime, choom<3 That's basically the gist of it. I see, so basically doing that you replaced one of the burritos with moonchies, to get all burritos AND the moonchies you would want to add the missing item appearance to the .lua file, find it inside the AMM folder here

You can also just take the bin folder from the burrito prop and add it to your project, you want it to be under resources and there's were you'll open it and edit it.

I found Phantom Liberty to be a major stepdown compared to the base story.
Didn't like any of the characters or story. I did not relate to anyone or feel sympathy for their struggles.
Only good part was the relic tree and Dogtown's aesthetics.

Oh, I meant it as in if you don't add the new appearance to the .lua it overrides one of the burritos.

That's how it's done, now you can make your own props! <3

Open the moonchies.mesh and look for the localmaterialinstaces, open that and it should give you what makes moonchies, if you are lucky, you'll see an .xbm file that says moonchies like in the package, you can add it to your project and export it as png or whatever format you want to work with, do the edits you want and then import it back. That's the gist of it, that's how you can edit textures and such.

I can't completely get rid of my Kiroshi's but after Gary told me the technowizards can see through my eyes I've been training to do what I call "power winking". I just rotate winking between my eyes in an off and on style, so that if they are trying to look through my eyes they will get disorientated and stop. I'm getting the hang of it, and honestly I've almost stopped getting shot while doing it.

Pubes are tricky in Cyberpunk, so many things hide them. It's why a lot of us use "clothing" pubic hair that makes them show up even with other clothing equipped.

Interesting. Something is fucky here, I definitely have just thrown Lethal Curves in there and it naturally worked earlier in the week when I was learning modding better. Now it looks no different, but isn't working.

you can do it, but you might want knives and suppressed guns to destroy cameras you can reach and create distractions.
Lynx Paw feet can let you run right up to people without them noticing.
Optical Camo should also help, but ive never used it

Let us know how it goes. If you go throwing knives, be aware that there is a gravitational aspect to their trajectory (i.e., you'll need to aim a bit above distant cameras), but there's an in-game mod you can find that counteracts that.

Didn't take any pictures there yet but theres a pretty large elevated marketplace/plaza in front megabuilding h2 in heywood accessible via multiple elevators or a stairway. It's extremely detailed for an area you never have any reason to go to.

You do it again. There are lots of little things you wont know to pay attention to on your first run through the game. Places you won't find until you go looking. Different dialogue choices, sometimes for different life paths, that add a new layer to the experience. I normally recommend to do at least 2 playthroughs and one of them as a corpo.

Been a while since I played Cyberpunk, decided to play it through again over the holidays, just got done with it again.

How do we all feel about how things shook out with Phantom Liberty? Spent some time thinking about the first time I went through it, and I'm still kind of bothered by the ending I selected.

I can't remember my thought processes during that moment and am trying to remember. Though did think it would be pretty Simp behavior to put her on the rocket after that and was looking for an out. Maybe I thought Song's life, who had betrayed V, wasn't worth as much as Reeds who, despite being a duty cuck like Takemaura, hadn't actively betrayed V.

Anyway, other peoples opinion on Song, and maybe their thought processes during the ending might be interesting.

I go to you tube comments about PL and everyone seems to think Song is sympathetic and accepted being a Simp.

Personally the amount of "I trust you V" So Mi was throwing around really alerted me to the fact she was hazing V.

Homie, they have to give a very very very good reason Ciri, who is effectively a demigod of time and space, would risk her life going through the Trial of Grasses, which you have to have to drink potions like she was in the trailer. For girls it has a 100% mortality rate up to that point.

She's built different, sure, and you could probably come up with an explanation how she survived. But they also have to explain the risk analysis. Like girl has time and space powers, why would she need access to mediocre spells and potions to do Witcher work when her baseline is so superior?

So, doesn't bode well, but I hope. I like Ciri.

I never trusted Songbird. they wrote her pretty well, where most of her dialogue is trying to emotionally guilt the player into helping her. And even if you never say you agree to help her, she assumes and tries to use it against you. like, just because we ride on the same train doesnt mean we are on the same team. She never provides evidence that she has the ability to help with V's very unique circumstances. She burns anyone that trusts her. So i have no sympathy for emotional manipulators that cant help but destroy everything and hurt everyone around them.

I didn't like it, the story had a fantastic setup with a terrible unfinished/rushed conclusion, they half assed the Reed's path which should have been the go to because if you've been paying attention you know songbird is full of shit, so that entire "bing bing boh boh, you betrayed me V", is so dumb and forced.

Here're my thoughts.
>Songbird’s path
It’s emotionally gripping, but only if you ignore the glaring red flags she waves in your face. You know she’s lying, manipulating, and hiding things, but the game keeps you on the rails with "the cure" as the carrot. The game basically says, “You’re desperate, so you’ll just go along with it,” which undermines the agency V usually has.

>Reed's path
Throws in that Alien Isolation-style sneaky segment, and it just feels so disconnected from the rest of the game. Stripping you of your abilities doesn’t enhance the tension; it’s more frustrating than anything. Cyberpunk thrives on giving you tools and freedom, so suddenly yanking all that away just kills the pacing and immersion.

The tower ending? Ugh, it's like it’s trying way too hard to be profound but just ends up feeling forced. Reed and V deserved a more nuanced conclusion, not a melodramatic crash landing. It’s a narrative dead end, which is a shame because it had so much potential to explore the politics of the FIA and V's own existential crisis.

At least Songbird’s path hits harder emotionally because of her raw desperation, but even then, it could’ve been more satisfying if we had a real chance to confront her lies meaningfully. Both paths had potential, but they just don’t let the player feel fully in control or rewarded for paying attention.

>Conclusion
It’s frustrating that both paths rely on the player ignoring obvious inconsistencies in the name of advancing the plot.

Thing you have to remember is that V isn't a protagonist insert, he/she has their own character so I can overlook. I can also overlook a lot because V could wisely be playing their cards close to their chest. But with the amount of Hazing they get in PL, my 20 int 15 cool V should have been able to see the literal tarot cards on the wall.

I think a deep heart to heart with Johnny after songbirds meet up, and some more options in the finalie would have suited me more. Or maybe an option to have read some information on the AI and confront Song with it.

i guess for the broader market they should water down the content more so its more accessible. id wager there are lots of run and gun ADD players that were also disappointed with that segment. cdpr needs to learn to stop being creative and trying new things. just give us a turret on a moving train, maybe a few quick time events. the 12 hour campaign is already to long, it should be 3 hours so i can get back to grinding Fortnite skins.

it was a good segment, a bright point of the expansion for me. i thoroughly enjoyed that for the first time in 2000 hours, there was something that actually posed a threat. And the method of "beating" it wasnt shooting it with a gun. the atmosphere was great.

but im a weirdo, i tend to like when game devs change things up and test out new gameplay models. id look into who designed that mission and see if they are working on witcher 4. A depowered Ciri might find herself in a lot of unwinnable fights and the person who designed that mission would be perfect.

Oh yeah, on the Alien Isolation bit. It's fine IMO. They did the Akira elevator before, and while the mechanics are a bit half baked I can see what hey we're going for.

They were trying to go for the Black wall being this big, scary eldritch thing, but it's kind of hard to turn that into a game play moment. There are some other ways I might have gone about it, like disabling all cyberware and filling the corridor with mechs. You can kill them, but it's bloody hard.

But aesthetically, with the elevator and the big thing, I thought it was kino.

Space port just has standard combat to a high level so it is more fun tho.

The reasons are complicated but I'll try.

So you have script languages and you have complied languages.

Script languages are generally easier to write and can just run through an interpreter, you don't need to spend the time comping them and can easily edit them on the fly. Issue is this flexibility comes at the cost of compute resources.

Complied languages require a lot more work, you have to allocate hardware resources in your code, and then release them when you're not using them. You can't just create a dynamic list, you have to write the code for it to allocate a memory address, store the value and the address of the next memory address through a linked list if you want something infinite, or use an array with a finite size which is also not an efficient use of memory. But because you have to do all that leg work you can make far more efficient code, which runs better on machines. You can even use the operation codes of the processor to almost directly tell the machine what to do.

Because Scripted languages are easier and the amount of compute available has accelerated, tertiary education kind of just focuses on script language, particularly Python. Now this might be fine if the work wasn't outsourced, because you'd have these kids with an understanding of code logic coming in from these institutions who then work under the old timers who share their knowledge.

But if everything is outsourced you don't have that generational knowledge transfer. Moore's law has proven false and the code inefficiencies are starting to mount up.

That and its been 150 years and India still hasn't upgraded their rail system. The one they are still using today was build by the British before their independence. They have never created anything in the modern world of their own. They also have an incredible in group bias and smell like shit and curry.

That would be a nightmare run up until about lvl. 40, kek. What I would do is use a combination of stealth and hacking up until I could get enough perks to ensure that the wires didn't slap like wet noodles. After that, I'd more or less use them exclusively.

one of my complaints about 2077s augment system in general is that its too RPG brained, all the augments are about increasing percentage point elemental damage and armor and decreasing cool downs, none of them aside from the arms and legs actually give you unique mechanics to play with.

Kek. Tried that one for an afternoon, then went back. It's nice that the sun for example doesn't wash everything out in some cases, but I like the neon and colored lights too much versus the effect the LUT had on them.

I've seen a couple NPC clothes conversions, butnthe only ones that were obviously named (NPC _ for V) were accessories. Most of them are either descriptive (zipper suit, one-shoulder tank) or named after a specific NPC (Alt's jacket and jeans).

I played around a bit with the texture using AI upscaling. Did a funny and scaled it up to 4k which bloated the filesize to 5mb. Problem with the Moonchies mesh is that it uses this as a texture: https://files.catbox.moe/die86y.png

Honestly I'm not sure, when I thought about making the prop I was going to remake the textures and change them to something more like the ad, but I guess you can use Gimp to increase the resolution and sharpen the imagine, as far as the text in back you'll have to get creative..

Nah, I just always make up rules for playthroughs to make them more interesting, and Black Kinky just happened to get "walk only or take the NCART". I did slightly cheat though, I cleared the badlands, and I walked for the first two gigs and gave up, I allowed myself to hack a car, stand on top of it, and drive myself to the next gig. Walking in the badlands is so much worse than the city, there is nothing to see, and it made me fight sleep the whole time.

I agree, mods only alleviate the issue so much. It's sort of hard to believe that you can't get a custom cyberhand like Alt, Johnny, or any other npc, you are limited to 3 different types of cyberware that all look similar.

I'm in love with mantis blades, and katanas share many of the same perks. My last character was blunt/berserk with shotguns and grenades, but I still like playing the blade character more in combat. Others have found blades boring, though, so YMMV.

Blade has the most tools to play with, jump attacks, deflecting blocking bullets, deflecting them back at hazards or the shooter.

Blunt is more simple but is more reliable if you want to knock people out and not kill them. You can stun enemies after blocking and countering with blunt weapons, opening them to be choked out.

ScarV has a nomad background, came to NC because she was planning to cross the ocean (this was before I learned that the oceans are full of self-replicating mines) after leaving the Bakkers Clan, stuck around after becoming buds with Jackie. One day visited Lizzie's and freaked out to see her own face on the Brainfuck merchandise and discovered her long lost twin here. The twin, "Scarless", had already done BD work with Judy, scrolled Brainfuck by using the same kind of tech that those two dudes use during the "Beat on the Brat" gigs. In hindsight now it's fairly understandable why performing "within an extra body" felt natural. Both of them now act as Mox officers occasionally working as bouncers, field work whenever a client needs to be reminded of proper business conduct, or high-class escort à la Evelyn with the focus on using their position to milk the client dry of data and potential blackmail. They're both of Zainichi Korean descent. "Scar" crushed hard on _Goro and him declining led to some poor life choices, "Scarless", on the other hand, knows Rita's natural hair color

She was 2IC of Arasaka's CounterIntel Division and was assigned by her boss Arthur Jenkins to put a hit out on Susan Abernathy, the head of Arasaka SpecOpsDiv after she disapproved of Jenkins's attack on the European Space Council Board following a leak that revealed Arasaka's illegal espionage in Frankfurt. She was stripped of her Arasaka benefits, including her apartment and savings, her cyberware was deactivated, and she would have been killed had Jackie not stepped in and threatened the hit team. And the rest, as they say, is history.

It's so hard to do that with /v/ because even if you pick calmer dialogue options they'll still be aggressive, vulgar and over the top. And I don't even think it's just the voice actor hamming it up but the actual dialogue and script too. Like look at those AI voice mods that replace /v/'s voice with JC Denton or Leon Kennedy, even if it's the same voice the dialogue still makes them sound like a tryhard.

In mirrors, photo mode and vehicle mode you can, but yeah I get what you mean. Really this game was probably envisioned as having a third person mode but they couldn't make it in time.

I really don't mind what people play as honestly. I haven't seen stats for this game but I can imagine people pick what feels more fluid and natural for the game they're playing and for a game like Mass Effect that's probably the default male Shepard and for a game like this, I can imagine most people probably think it's FemV. They might have a different rationale than I do but the setting kinda lends itself to a female character in a few ways.

There is just no way I could beat you time, I did some scouting that the last route you posted is by far the best and most direct and also the fastest, I got terrible RNG, maybe because my Delamain got spawned through AMM.
About 3GB/s to 3.5GB/s way faster than a SATA ssd or HDD, game loads in a blink.

I tend to skip time inbetween gigs by going to areas where I can eat/drink or whilst selling off looted guns, so I do end up interacting with that mechanic that way, Id end up having like 3 or 4 meals a day before going back to an apartment to rest (a play session can start in the morning, do a few gigs whilst skipping time and ending at an apartment to rest or have interactions there before shutting down game for instance, or multiple days if I have alot of time on my hands)

Most time to be saved is in the corners, choom.
Ye, the RNG of the traffic can be ass, especially if they block the apex of the corner.
Gonna have to find a way to mod all these stickers on the Delmain texture then.
Top speed seems to be the same at 115 when not going downhill.
I used the NG+ mod on this run and didn't complete the Delamain quest yet, so maybe that's why it doesn't talk.

Originally recruited by a mysterious corp from hell as a specialist mission unit. My V, solo at first, (And her associated fireteam, Maddie, Lilith and Clint deployed later) were deployed undercover into Night City in order to secure technology, weapons and cyberware from the region for reverse engineering by their employers. The objective of securing all manner of cyberware was also aided by the fact that as a Demon, Valarie (And the other Marauders) do not have any humanity stat, Essentially rendering them all but immune to cyberpsychosis.

Valarie, as a Marauder was already a capable fighter and was chosen due to her ability to thrive in lawless, chaotic environments. Acquiring a gig that would see her securing the Second Generation Relic, Valarie knew that her employers would be very interested in such technology, Leading to the heist and the second act of the game. With this new challenged presented, The relic began to interfere with her abilities to secure technology, With the damaged relic malfunctioning causing cyber psychosis within the demon.

As time went on and Valarie chased down leads in an effort to safely remove the relic from her head, her capability to finish the mission came into question and she was reinforced with the rest of her team, all sent in undercover as well.

Clint's cover was that he was SanDom resident
Maddie was that she was the rebellious runaway from a weathy corpo family
And Lilith's was that she was Maddie's bodyguard meant to keep her from being killed or worse.
As the need for a pre-existing cover faded, Valarie with the Relic and Johnny Silverhand's musical knowledge coming to her, Valarie started a rock band as a cover with herself and the rest of her team.

Eventually, Song So Mi reached out to Valarie and thus began the Phantom Liberty Storyline.
