Too bad Capcom fucked her up. Apparently because the characters with T-rex limbs couldn't get in (And still couldn't post-recovery nerfs) so they nerfed her spacing and zoning. She still zoned them out because "lol no range". but now versus other mids and high tiers she became so much easier to push in.

DI is 26 frames which is 433ms, as long as you press your own DI in 25 frames you will win.
What controller are you using and what button do you press for DI?
For example if you play on a stick and use your pinky to DI its probably harder than playing on pad and having DI on a trigger.
Also anyone can get hit by it sometimes.

the crazy thing is if drive impact didnt exist, the game would be so much better. Not because people use drive impact a lot, but because its existence was stifling neutral. That feeling you get when you play another game and realize you don't have to constantly look over your shoulder for jump scare mechanics, is what sf6 could feel like. theres no reason DI should beat big normals and zoning though. guessing is a part of neutral but DI feels similar to using a wakeup dp. its pretty rewarding but super risky and adds a ton of inconsistency. the wakeup game is typically one of the more random parts of fighting games but having an option like that at zoning range is just really jarring and unfun. there is also absolutely 0 reason it needs to wallsplat outside of burnout and the game strictly improves if you remove that.

Anyone even remotely comparing Drive and V-system is either a shitposting troll or a legit 023er, I refuse to believe anyone who played (or even watched) a minute of SFV can think that's an appropriate comparison. Especially considering every v-trigger did something different, and the only universal property they had was to grant the attacker plus frames (and that's not even all of them Ken's Shinryuken for example had to be confirmed) and you completely gave up the v-bar for the duration

Shes not as easy as some but like the other anon said no one is exactly hard, you should play who you think is cool so you are actually motivated to play but you should try a few because you might like chun as a waifu but not actually playing her.
If I was teaching a beginner I would worry that charge special moves might be hard for them, but they are actually supposed to be easy. (Hold back then tap forward and punch or hold down and tap up and kick are charge moves for example.)
Traditionally the straightforward beginner friendly characters would be Ryu, Ken and now Luke, so if you really want a recommendation its one of them.

It's crazy how SF6 seemed like it would be the first SF game to move the story along and had a big prologue comic foreshadowing a grand story and then World Tour was a wet fart and S2 has two characters that are literally just cameos and don't move the plot along at all

No, it doesn't matter that his projectiles invalidate other character's fireball games.
No, it doesn't matter that his fireballs are crucial frames shorter in a game full of fireball counterplay based on tight reaction checks.
No, it doesn't matter that they arbitrarily do more than 10% extra damage than every other fireball for no discernible reason.

Don't question why the DLC character is just arbitrarily better than others. Being OP is like, Akumas thing, right? Just buy the fucking DLC and go back to complaining about not being able to give Capcom even MORE money for costumes.

i don't use raw slime rush and i try not to do buffers unless i think im going to get the hit. in my experience when neither player is sliming this game is kinda ass. there isn't enough ways to get started without sliming on most characters since nothing is plus besides some gimmicky neutral skips and the neutral gets really repetitive without sfv buttons and confirms

at least it was harder to combo off a jump in, the timing was more strict than it is now. ever since sf4, you can hit someone on the tippy top of their head with any jump attack and have enough frames to land and do a heavy.
