Will GGG compensate players in any way for the hacking incident if it's real? I'd expect any other company to throw in some shit like 500 in game currency, but I don't remember instances of GGG ever doing that

so im on my first character and comfortably clearing tier 15/16 finally
how do I know if I should price item 10ex or 10div? for example a tier 5 vest dropped with 800 evasion, +max hp + spirit + 80% elemental resists in total, I was thinking this will be worth good, but it didnt sell until i lowered it to 10ex
same for everything, a 500dmg lv 70 mace? doesnt sell for days until i lower it to 3ex etc
i must be missing out on so much currency but I just have no idea how to price the items, I'm using pic rel as a rough guide https://imgur.com/em8TbjX but I still have no idea what I'm doing

The market is oversaturated with high defense armours and high damage weapons. Truly valuable stuff has high tier rolls and multiple mods that people want. Also with chests, high spirit and/or chaos resistance can drive its value up considerably.

I don't know why others play SSF but my main reason for switching was that the gameplay loop was starting to become stale. Farming currency to purchase upgrades from someone else feels like wageslaving and hurts even more when you have an actual job. The other issue I had was I was always better off saving my exalts/divines to buy something off someone else rather than trying to craft myself.

Does damage conversion double tip? Say I do 100 physical damage and an ability converts it 100% to fire, I do 100 fire damage. I find it quite funny how there is a very specific kind of person being "hacked", people that are always associated with RMT and have been documented and directly warned by GGG.

I must admit it's quite cathartic, my blood witch was fughting for her life in that room and i think i died. BUT Act1 and first half of Act2 monk gameplay where you go Attack Attack, killing palm, dodge roll into falling thunder - that was the Absolute PEAK action videogame. Not only it's the best ARPG experience, it's some of the best action period. I don't remember having this much fun playing a videogame in a very long time, maybe when i was 12 years old and played WC3 DOTA.

In my opinion the focus of GGG should be to make the entire game feel as good as Monk in act 1 feels.

I feel like the current monk performance with Power charge sustain is was simply not intended by GGG. The resonance keystone is an oversight.
Endurance charges are easy to get, but they at best give you a bit more AOE
Frenzy is easy and cheap but what does it give? Another projectile to an attack that already fires a bunch of projectiles.
And then there's Power, power is a pain in the ass to get, super conditional, and gives fuckhuge transformative effects like 50% crit chance, AOE to a single target attack, Falling thunder casually clearing 2 screens away.
I think the Power Charges were intended to be quite scarce and valuable and the player is meant to save them and use strategically. The resonance node allows you to get Power for the cost of Frenzy and breaks the game.

Is about as busted as converting attack speed into cast speed, or mana regen into life regen, you get a scarce resource at the cost of an abundant resource.

Idk what your reading, but hes complaining about being unable to run a lvl 39 gas arrow, and no he wont run inspiration (Gas arrow actually has a premium cost to boot because its meant to be a DOT skill and not a primary damage vehicle which is why they are nerfing it)

Fucking every single ranger attack is somewhere betwen 53-65 mana per cast at lvl 20. Gas arrow is at 82 for comparison. Hexblast for some reason is 145 per cast but spark is at 64, spells are fucked but attacks feel fine

MF is a shit mechanic because it's so powerful it invalidates everything else in a competitive inflating economy.

They removed Life clusters from the tree and aura buffs like Hatred/Wrath/ Malevolence because they felt like they were mandatory and literally every build took them.

And then they kept life on gear and also added MF. Now there's another mandatory stat you have to get, what's the best build in the game? Whichever can stack more MF.

When the players are allowed to stack 1000% MF and they start dropping multiple divines per map solely through gear stats - that's an incredibly spupid game design.

Beta testing is meant to try and test things, We tested this new magic find system and the outcome is quite conclusive - IT'S SHIT. The whole point of early access is to make sure that things like this doesn't make it to release.

hot take but i think ggg wastes too much dev time designing monsters, texturing them and animating them.

NOBODY looks at the monsters. NOBODY can even see the detail they put into them. this isn't a 1st person game where you can see fine detail on your enemies. if all enemies were replaced by colored blobs (unsaturated colors are weak, saturated colors are strong) people would barely give a shit because these blobs are exploding and being ran past in attoseconds

the only time they can waste time on designing mobs are on bosses which are often naturally far bigger visually, forcing you to see their detail.

They also said they are changing how it works to be based on the ignite it has to explode. The reason it's mana cost is higher (not by a lot) is that it's either how goratha is playing it where you put down a cloud and shit just dies and it's a poison build.

Or it's a payoff skill based on the ignite you put out, you know what skills do pure fire damage? Intelligence reduces the mana cost (effective) so it naturally solves itself. Also I have played that build for like 40 hours man, and that side of the tree has so many solutions to boot.

After 3-4 of coop I found out that coop is a meme as a high level player.
The drops are WAY WORSE than solo.
It only works if you are paired with other no-life creatures or very high mf twink and you make 100s preparations for your mapping. Like getting your maps with very high quan, get them between multiple towers and putting all quan precursors, finding 10 breaches or an open map etc. etc.

I would argue that the campaign speeds up considerably at points where the player isn't even ready for it yet. And then when your build does kinda come online, you hit maps and hit another speed wall.

I think they can nail the balance. You should only get to current zoom zoom clear when you hit high tier, juiced maps. Currently the power curve is just too flat. Once they massage it out a bit I think the game will be in a much better state. Big ticket items:
>slow mobs down considerably in early to mid maps
>make regals and exalts even more common to encourage ez gamblecrafting
>add in a currency that takes away 1 stat and can only be used once per item, make it relatively common so you can better focus your 2-3 stat crafts early to get better core stats
>add deterministic omens or other endgame league items that help focus on the stats you want, and make them attainable before you're already killing pinnacles
I think even that short list would improve the game a ton.

IIR on gear has a negligable impact on player power as it stands because 99% of your damage comes from having additional gem levels or from your weapon
Giving IIR a flat -10% global damage would make it an actually meaningful choice

are T15s easy? yes, but Xesht 3+ is still a struggle even with a giga 120k DPS build (this is how low the shockburst cap is btw) with 82 chaos res because witchhunter does not get to use any of the op mechanics in the game (ES, spirit stacking) and is forced to use cloak of flame to not immediately die to any 3000+ physical/chaos hit

herald of ash with perfect strike with window of opportunity and fire infusion.
never use totems, never use any other skills, waste of time and energy and dps. mace strike, boneshatter, perfect strike and herald of ash. rush giant's blood and take RT with impact area and impact force nodes.
that's all you need.

Armor doesn't prevent much damage, especially the higher up the hit gets. The unique passive is pretty shit, really only good for some tiny extra sustain against small hits. Not good at all once you get into 1-shots and heavy chunk territory.

NTA, but I feel like the Sekhema trial is so much easier than Ulti because of the absolutely asspunishing modifiers. Genuinely feels like I can't handle how much they stack after the first boss. At least you can throw honor resist trinkets and basically breeze up until the scorpion where it becomes a move speed check.

Sekhema is easier because Ultimatum requires 3 different runs at very minimum with perfect rng, in reality you're going to do like 5. The shards nonsense to get to Trialmaster for 4th ascend was so fucking dumb.

I tried doing Ultimatum speedruns today for the soulcores to make some quick cash but sometimes the very first room is a giant fuck you. And then the rng decides to fuck you even more and gives you the same stuff or the worst things to go with it.
Sekhema gives you some control on how to not fuck your run.

Hmm good point, didn't even remember it being a quest. The first Trial of Chaos is a quest too so I guess GGG thought that everyone must enjoy the festivites provided at least once.
Then you can skip the third set of points if you want, and get them all on the last set of points.
But I don't think many people will even bother with the last points.

I'm inclined to agree but what's getting me is unintuitive hitboxes/roll jank and difficult to discern dust clouds that indicate the falling stalactites. I can get to the final boss without getting hit at all, but having to hit and run as melee makes the fight last forever and eventually the trickle damage over 15-30 minutes just gets me.

Yes, only the charges are split. Take a look at the charges when you are playing the game, it's unreal how slow they fill when you have two charms
And again they don't refill during bosses, you will get one use one time

It's really quite bad, way worse than the utility flasks
If people don't believe they should just hover over it and look at the charges after it gets used so like 10 or whatever it will have, and then play half the map and look again and it will be at 62
It's useless

No it isn't, it only applies AFTER the rare is killed. For 2 seconds.
So for 2 seconds after killing a rare you will have some rarity, but there will be no other mobs around to kill as they will have died before the rare.
If it was 20 seconds maybe.

ngl I have a hard time pressing some buttons while moving so adding 3 mandatory utility flasks (there's a 0% chance they would've had auto-using on launch) would be a serious pain.
I do think they need to add some quicksilver alternative though. Maybe something like an inbuilt speed boost while no enemy is in your presence (or double presence or something).

It's not a mystery, and nobody should need to comment on it. It was on the charm what it does. It doesn't even need to be tested. It clearly turns on after killing a rare. How would it do it before.

Bosses have a gorillion hp, the game is absolutely designed to accommodate damage like this. Only ES stackers can sit around and tank them. I just got howa yesterday so I'll get back to you on that, but prior it took me like 10-15 seconds to kill tier 3 xesht. (and all of xesht's attacks can one shot me even with the 30% reduc off tailwind) You've got people doing a lot more burst with hammer of the gods and flicker strike, and they don't need to sacrifice 2 ring slots to do it. I can still probably increase my dps by 30% with +quiver jewels but i reckon thats about it unless we get into stuff that literally costs 20+divs or more. Deadeye is good because deadeye is good at breach and breach is good, and that doesn't even involve this interaction, you're using CoF voltaic for those.
