It's just a spawnable NPC version of yourself, with your current clothes and such, on AMM you go to setting and enable "experiment features" I think it was called and that allows you to spawn it, I use it mainly for poses and animation, same for NPV's. It really opens up a world of AMM Shenanigans.

Be ready to replay a combat section multiple times. I like the combat a lot so it's not too big of a deal but it can still get frustrating. If you want to highlight blood in the shot you'll have to work quickly because blood disappears fast without mods. You might also need to get creative with V's positioning in AMM when it comes to poses. Those are some of the stuff I've noticed trip me up the most. I'm sure you'll do great though. Pic related was an outtake of the drone fight. Messed up the FOV.

Basically, yeah. I wanna hide all the stuff the game does to them except nails, so I can still have tattoos.
Reading about it makes it sound like it's pretty miserable, though. I was hoping it would be easy, like just 'turning off' the aesthetic aspects of equipping cyberware. I would have assumed that binary has to exist somewhere in the code, but it doesn't look like it from what I'm reading

I started by setting the game to VH and everything to 1.0. Then I ran a couple Organized Crimes and tuned damage to 1.5 for mobs below T3 and HP to .9 for T3s and elites. Believe that's where I've got things now. Haven't fought any bosses yet

In my experience, do ANYTHING to the game -- adding a mod, deleting a mod, changing load order, anything -- makes it run considerably worse and/or CTD on game load at least once the first time you start the game after, and it gets progressively worse the bigger the mod, and some mods just inexplicably break the game.

I downloaded an outfit from a guy I'd already downloaded several outfits from, and CharLi fried itself. Now if I try and have CharLi2.0 installed my game sits on the black compass screen before the splash screen for an entire minute of silence each and every time I have to start the game.
Finally got tired of that and installed CharLi Lite -- worls like a charm

also, why does the game constantly refrain from making any comments about pacifica? like in the intro of the game "pacifica is still.... pacifica" and that exact same line delivery happens in the game as well when you are introduced to Mr. Hands and he asks you to go to pacifica as well, he basically just says "pacifica is pacifica" without making any actual remarks about what goes on there.

I know they have netrunners but so do the tyger clawz apparently? and the game says badges never show their face around there, but the ncpd will get on your ass for killing civilians just like anywhere else.

like, even the tiny ass 6th street gang isn't done as dirty as the VDBs. you get to kill like 30 of the 6th street gang members if you want to when you are acquiring divided we stand, but even then it's explicitly stated that their leader isn't there and you just killed a random sect of gonks, just like with maelstrom. they allow you to get fucked over by maelstrom and kill a ton of them on your way out, but it's explicitly stated in the story that you didn't kill their leader, just 1 random guy and his gang of nobodies.

The VDBs got the shortest end of the stick, meanwhile they occupy the largest part of the main story. they recieve basically 0 development and they just fuck you over the 1 mission you actually get to meet them. How strong they are doesn't even matter, but them being explicitly stated to be the best at XYZ things just makes it more confusing when they are a flash in the pan lasting less time in the story than the aldecados and 6th street combined

CDPR just didn't flesh out the gang and faction system very much, and it seems like they never intended to.

Via CET alone, not to my knowledge. But if you have a save editor, you can take a regular tier 5 item and push it up to 5++ by changing the quality rating from 51 to 53. That's how I got my Satara and MA70 to 5++ without hours of farming.

but now if you are unfortunate enough to find one of those guns when its uncommon or rare, you might as well break it down for parts. its damage wont be worth keeping after a few more levels. a playthrough shaped by 40 weapons i found and destroyed and formed no attachment to.
pretty sure with the masamune the only iconic cant be kept

Anons who play on lower resolutions like 1080p/1440p with RT (but no PT), do you use Ray Reconstruction? I really like how reflections look with it, and it gives some nice shading too but the ghosting in half of the situations is just too much "in the eye".
RR with 3.7.x dlls seem to have better quality in the city environment, but in Badlands with vegetation is looks absolutely awful, like all the bushes and trees have excessive halo and jitter all over the place. RR 3.5.10 doesn't seem to have this issue but it seems to look worse in the city at a glance.
Curious what version of RR you use, if you have it enabled with RT only in the first place.

Based, I've been trying to tell anons for years, no UI is the way to go, especially with minimal HUD mod and the mod that lets you hide all cross hairs apart from on smart weapons. The game genuinely does play better + the UI spam that vanilla comes with is gross

The only concession I eventually made is to enable minimap only while driving vehicles, without it I found myself pausing to open the map too many times during a drive to re-orientate myself

I usually play cyberpunk for about 4-5 months of every year then move onto another etc etc. At the end of the run I save the entire game folder and mods and reopen it the following year. So yes basically - I have a backup of every year since release

Pretty much all of them are "unaffected" especially vanilla or clothing mods that (seem) to be straight up rips like the simple leather skirt. However, with that pic from earlier with the Hover V, I did notice that upon entering PM the body morphed before my eyes. I saw a similar thing happening on the Player V when I used Rig Deform and it taking effect ONLY upon entering PM

It's a way to fake high quality freames to keep your FPS high.
DLSS uses a special AI tool on RTX cards for this, so the steam Deck can't do it.
It should be able to run the (worse) FSR or XeSS though.

Let's say you put your target fps at 60, when FSR or XeSS recognize that your fps drop below that they will lower your resolution scaling to take weight off your GPU and then scale it back up with an algorithm so it "looks" like it's 1080p or whatever.

Maybe a jailbreak start for Netrunner lifepath?
They had said it was supposed to be 1 lifepath per skill tree in the beginning.
(My guess was always Nomad - Body, Cool - Streetkid, Technical - Corpo, Intelligence - Netrunner, Reflex - Veteran)
But that got cut when lifepaths got shrunken down to dialogue choices and a 5 minute intro quest.

There was so much cut content man....the gang campaigns alone would have added 1 replay value per gang...Maelstrom, 6th Street, Animals, Tyger claws, Mox, Valentinos, VDBs and Aldecaldos (the only campaign that kinda survived) would make for 8 replay total, just to do each gang campaign.

Basically, every option in LHUD has a toggle on/off via a global hotkey.
Some options have an additional setting that will allow them show while scanning, but most of them don't have that setting.
I wanted to mimic it for the options that don't by making the global hotkey options act like the scanner options -- they show while scanning and disappear when not.

Instead, when I hit the scanner button, those options that don't have an expicit Scanner setting toggle on and stay on until I hit the scanner button again. Don't want that

I use the game time tweaks mod at 1:1 game to irl hours, so I had to tweak the DF setting to match, I turned off nervous death, tuned down some of the addiction chances (felt way too easy to become an alcoholic) and ramped up the nerve loss in combat setting as I felt I never really got below 70% before smoking another cigarette. Not using wannabe edgerunner I felt like it made too many changes when I looked at it

I've increased the cooldown of vehicle summoning a bit since the 5 hours default felt kind of low and random. Other than that I tried looking for a way to increase the threshhold for getting the tired debuff since it removes the xp buff and your energy is recovered with only 2 or so hours of sleep but I couldn't find an option for it.

Everything in NC is cosmetic to a degree just due to the culture, but these do serve a purpose according to R. Talsorian Games Mike Pondsmiths TTRPG company they help with electro magnetic interference.

Is it just me or does it feel like the devs put a little more time into Panams side of things. Obviously Judy is still important to the story but her secondary missions and overall plot line don't seem as deep and personal. Panam introduces you to an entire group willing to call you family, has a major ending possibility while Judy just has some hookers and degenerates.
I'm actually wondering if that's a reason they basically just fully removed her from P.L.
Anyway I hope the next game gives all romance options a lot more depth and important

there are a few small missions that hint that City dwellers dont know the difference between Wraith and any other nomads. And Militech doesnt care either, both are to be killed to pad their stats.

I'm noticing a lot less duplicate NPCs and also a lot more random gang vehicles showing up on the roads.

Aside from cosmetic stuff, Weather shit is my highest "Want" for this game. It's almost criminal how little the weather fluctuates, it feels like it only rains because it's forced to by a quest. Can anyone explain why am I immortal? My health doesn't drop below 120 for some reason, patch 2.13.

It forces you to interact with stuff you usually just ignore.
Food and drinks of course, but also alcohol, drugs and cigarettes.
You actually need sleep and have to destress with your chooms by meeting them to eat dance or fuck.
Fast travel is also disabled and you can only call your vehicle 2 times per in-game day, so you will use your legs and stuff like the metro (or bus/taxi mods).

Got it way back just to play tw3 in ultra settings can play cyberpunk with most setting maxed out but lighting is weird around mid day or when you are in the shade, not sure if using reshades makes a difference without ray tracing.

I searched the archive a bit and did some research but I figured I'd ask here directly too. If I want to delete bullet sponges from the game, what's the best way of doing that? I want to play it more like a stealth game, where enemies can kill me quick if I'm detected but I can kill them quickly too. Ideally if a guy gets shot in the head and he isn't more metal than man he should just die, but the same is true for me, that kind of thing.
I found HARDCORE22V2 but some people say it makes melee worthless and does weird stuff to guns? Then I saw Guns Redone on Hime's list which seems like it buffs guns, does that alone make the game less spongy?
Any other mods to recommend here?

Hardcore doesn't make melee "worthless".
The problem is that getting hit is deadly with that mod, that counts for both, melee and guns.
But guess what usually happens if some guy with a sword runs toward a guy with a gun.
So combat with that mod is ~3x harder, but melee is 10x harder.

I don't use hvac22 because this one is more modular and I didnt bother with ENC as i saw too many reports that it's borked with game v2.2

A few hours into the expansion and I feel like I am playing Call of Duty 2077. It's completely linear, non-stop shooting, non-stop talking, non-stop "cinematic experience". They even had some quick-time events.
