League does sucks tremendously, it's not fun, not interesting, unfair, nobody likes it and s15 doesn't look much better, but it looks like unless they actively try to fix the game, it just might be the end. The whole 250€ skins really looks like they're trying to cash out before dipping though.

Broadly agree with your points, though. The whole gacha thing really fucks me up, though. Like, if it was a decent gacha, sure, but this does just SCREAM 'we'll shovel slop for as long as you buy it', blegh. Gangplank is very good into short range champions who you can easily kite such as Darius, Jax and Nasus. It is kind of a skill matchup since you can't make a lot of mistakes without falling into risk of dying, especially when he has Flash up because him Flash W or E'ing you is always an option which yes if he manages to hook you you will just get run down and die a lot of the time. This is why I'd recommend that you 1) play more defensively when he has Flash up, 2) don't use up all of your barrels for meaningless poke if you can't translate it into a kill or a base timing, 3) try taking Ignite, Exhaust, or even Ghost as your secondary spells to match his combat summs since a lot of the time you can just kill him even if he hooks you if you have Ignite up because of the extra true damage and heal cut you get from it, 4) match your boots purchases with his and buy T1 and T2 boots either when or before he does, since you don't want to be slower than him. "Playing defensively" when he has flash is a little hard to define, but I'd suggest making sure the wave never stalls near his tower unless you have a way to break the freeze and keeping at least one barrel on you at all times for if you need a way to disengage.
tl;dr - When he's in hook range of you, half the time you die (he has boots and you don't, he has summs and you don't, you have no barrels left, or he hits all of his spells and you miss all of yours), half the time you can beat him even if you get hooked (you have your summs, his ult is down, you dodge at least 1 Q), and the rest of the time he should never be in hook range of you.
A general rule of thumb I have from my experience playing against him is that if you land 2 or more passives and barrels on him you win, and if he lands 2 or more Qs then he wins. And if you ever get scared and need to run away try placing a barrel behind you instead on top of yourself because he might possibly outtime you and disarm it.

if you give adcs too much of a defensive stat (can be in any form) they will take over the game
the main problem with adcs right now is that their items are
A) heavily crippled by forcing them into either buying as or ad and no in between (with the exception of yuntal) which results in their damage profile being either they 2-3 shot squishies and deal no damage to tanks
B) they have the most boring itemization in the game hands down with 3-4 items having no real passive
C) they are locked into a cuckoldry position of "your supp either actually supports and buys knights vow/enchanter items or you are screwd"
the best itemization for adcs is the one that gives them no real defensive items (like shieldbow), gives them a counter measure items like qss and some sustain like bt and gives them all the SUSTAINED dmg that they need (that doesnt results in cait headshotting your head off the planet)
and at the same time some of the cuckoldry is removed and the class gets directly buffed for compensation (like knights vow/ enchanters being strong etc)
this way adcs still retain their weakness but still have good agency and dmg
the balance team is retarded and refuses to do this

Sure, ranked anxiety maybe plays a role, I'm anxious too but more in general than just in this game, but at least in game I try to chill. When I step in ranked I'm left rather bewildered than frustrated.
